The beautiful countryside in summer and winter is a fantastic setting for hikers and peace-seekers.
In summer:
Hiking from the house, swimming in Lake Diemel or in the indoor pool. Exploring the surroundings on a road bike or mountain bike.
For motorcyclists, there are plenty of routes. Fishing on the Diemelsee or renting a boat.
In winter:
In Willingen (19km) or Winterberg (38 km) with ski slopes for every level and beautiful cross-country ski trails. Also in summer there are many attractions such as summer tobogganing, mountain biking,and much more
In all seasons, the historical towns like Korbach, Bad Arolsen and Brilon are a feast for the eyes. They are less than 20 km away
You will stay in 2 semi-detached houses. The living rooms have a connecting door between the houses. Also, the extra-large dining table folds out so you can eat together.

There is plenty of parking space on site. There is also a large garden where you can relax. While the children have fun in the playground, everyone can sit around the large portable barbecue.

Love at first sight it was. From the moment we had concrete plans to buy a house in Germany and had determined which area it should be in, this house was on 1.It is 2 cottages. The photos were not representative and taken from the wrong angle. They looked like dolls' houses. After many viewings in other houses, we finally followed our gut feeling.
We are still very happy with our choice but the time has come to let others share in our joy.
When you drive in from Adorf or Heringhausen, you see the house to the left or right of the main road. It is already a sight for sore eyes
You park your car right in front of the door for easy unloading. You can always move it later
Once inside, you hang your coat on the coat rack and, for many people, there is an immediate run on the toilet. Then you go upstairs to have a look around. You can pick out your bed right away. Bedroom Amsterdam is imaginatively decorated. There is plenty of closet space. Even if the children's bed is occupied. Then you use the cupboard on the landing
Take a look in the bathroom too. The hairdryer is waiting for you. The shower has a thermostatic tap. And the very small ones still fit in the sink
The electrically adjustable bed bases in the Parisian bedroom make you sit comfortably while reading before going to sleep
Once back downstairs, take a look in the living room (here is the connecting door to Jagerholz 5a) and bedroom London
The whole house has shutters so you sleep through dawn
Then on to the spacious and well-equipped kitchen(s). The crockery and cutlery in each kitchen takes 12 guests into account

kigebieden Winterberg and Willingen Going to check it out or removing it from the favourites list remained the big question for a while So we visited numerous houses in various locations. Of some, we did not even look at the inside. Sometimes there was enough space but no parking space. At another house, you could sit outside. With the emphasis on could....On the bench and especially not stretching your legs because then you were in the neighbour's garden fence. After disappointment number one, we looked deep into each other's eyes.... So shall we ask for the address of the "doll houses" after all? Maybe it won't be so bad after all.. Finally the right address...ff googled. Mmh distance to Winterberg and Willingen is not so bad after all, 38 and 19 km respectively. That means a travel time of 45 and 20 minutes. For real ski fanatics, doable anyway. Appointment made, TomTom set.... Who could be surprised when we entered the cul-de-sac.....
