This semi-detached holiday home is located in Falkenstein in the Harz Mountains. It's modern and bright and impresses with its large terrace. Here you can soak up the sun or relax at the end of the day with a drink of your choice. Falkenstein is located in the south-eastern part of the Harz district. The area is characterised by the fields of the Harz foothills and the forests of the low mountain range broken up by river valleys. The nearby, impressive Selketal makes a great place to go hiking and cycling. With its unique fauna and flora and well-marked trails the valley truly is a special experience. Other sights in the area include: Falkenstein Castle, Große Teufelsmühle, Preußenturm, Ballenstedt Castle and park, ride on the Selketalbahn.

The house is neat and fully furnished. The key was very handy in a key box. The landlord is friendly. The house has plenty of space inside. In the village are two supermarkets, a bakery and restaurants all within walking distance. If you walk towards the Konradsburg on a very quiet road, you are in the forest in 2 km. Unfortunately the wifi didn't work (yet) when we were there. There is much to do in the area: zoo, hiking, visit villages.
