Holiday in the Harz Mountains in a large, old, extensively renovated house
The complete house was repainted inside in November 2021, additionally several floor coverings were renewed and new furniture was bought!
This large holiday home for up to 11 people is located next to the old school and the church. It has a living area of 190 m2, which is divided as follows:
Ground floor:
- large hallway with an old wooden staircase leading to the upper floor
- a large living room with satellite TV, DVD player and children's books
- a second smaller living room
- first bedroom with a double bed (140x200 cm, 1 mattress)
- second bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm, 2 mattresses)
- first modern bathroom with bathtub and washbasin
- second bathroom (from 2016) with shower, washbasin and WC
- modern kitchen (from 2017) with a large dining table for 11 people as well as oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge-freezer. Dishwasher, extractor bonnet, coffee machine, toaster, music system and a complete cutlery and crockery set
- a separate toilet
First floor:
- a very large bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm, 2 mattresses) and another bed
- a children's bedroom with bunk beds (2 x 90x200 cm) and a foosball table
- third bedroom with double bed (140x200 cm, 1 mattress)
- modern shower room with WC and an infrared heat cabin (similar to a sauna)
Important: For two of the double beds you need ONE LARGE sheet each, as there is only ONE LARGE mattress in these two beds!
All 11 beds were bought new in November 2021!
Many DVDs and a small library invite you to relax
W-Lan and telephone are of course available.
Notes:
The indicated heating costs of 23,- Euro per night are of course only from to! The deposit of 100,- Euro has to be paid on site at the reception of the keys! It will be returned on departure if there is no damage to or in the house. The house can be booked for a minimum of three nights (except over public holidays and in July and August)! Please bring bed linen, tea towels and towels from home!

Location and surroundings of object
Radisleben is just 12 KM from the world-famous city Quedlingburg and only 8 KM from Lake country with Marina and beach near the Kurot Gernrode,.The active family needs won't seek to participate in activities and attractions. Our small town is lined with castles, castles, lakes, children's parks, sled tracks, cross-country, Western City, Indian village, hiking trails, narrow-gauge railway, outlet for our four-legged friends and much much more. Our holiday home is in the town of Ballenstedt frazione Radisleben between resin and Lake country.
A little shop around the corner offers pretty much everything on the table well covered. NET, bakers and butchers find shopping areas like Aldi, Lidl, all around, in a few minutes.

Mr Otto, who lives right next to the house, will take the deposit at the beginning of your holiday and the keys back at the end of your holiday.

Holiday home in Ballenstedt
The location of the house is central in the village. The house is perfect for families with children. This property is very well furnished and ideally located for excursions around the Harz. Very good preparation for the guests by detailed descriptions in a folder with picture and directions to the sights. Reliable availability of the caretaker in case of emergency. The possibility to have meals outside is ideal. The inhabitants of the village are very open-minded and friendly. Thank you for the wonderful days

Wonderful multi-generation holiday
Large, spacious, quiet location on a big square, very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, adequately and sensibly equipped for people of different ages (in our case, 2 grandparents, 4 parents, 3 grandchildren) and for several days; highly recommended overall.
Many possibilities for excursions in the surrounding area. For children, the playground at Domänenhof Radisleben (publicly accessible outside of daycare hours) with animals and many play equipment is especially recommended.
Very friendly and competent support and advice from the landlord and his employees on site.

Relaxed holidays for the big family
We spent a week in the holiday house with a total of 10 people from three generations. The previously friendly email contact with the landlord was confirmed by the caretaker at the key handover on site. After an introduction to the house and appliances, excursion tips and valuable information about the surroundings and leisure activities followed. Despite the number of travelers, there was no lack of anything in the house. Cutlery and dishes are more than sufficient, and there is enough space in the kitchen and living room for large families. We had no complaints, felt comfortable, and would gladly come back!

Super accommodation.Ideal for group or family.We were there for the Rock Harz.Everything satisfactory.Since accommodation is in the ruhogen location also no noise so very quiet.Villagers also very nice.Had a very nice Abenf at the Kirschblütenfest.So only recommend.Wir habrn for next year already booked again.

Very good for family holidays
The beautiful, lovingly restored house offers everything the extended family needs. Children have plenty of room to move around. It is quietly located in the centre of a small village. You can walk beautiful paths through the fields directly from the house, great for dogs. The countryside is beautiful and there is plenty to see in the surrounding area. We would love to come back again and again!

A great house in a beautiful area.
We had the pleasure of living in this beautiful house with 2 families (4 adults, 6 children between 7 and 15 years) and had a lot of fun. Life in the village took place mostly in front of our door, and there were plenty of excursions in all directions possible from Radisleben. Shopping in Ballenstedt was quickly done by car, and even in the small grocery store in Radisleben, we could exchange money for rolls twice. Overall, these were 10 very relaxing days for all of us, surrounded by helpful neighbors and a very friendly mayor who showed us the old church behind our house from the inside.

Klasse Unterkunft mit Top Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
Waren vom 05.07-09.07 in besagtem Ferienhaus in Radisleben, einem kleinen beschaulichen Ortsteil von Ballenstedt. Da wir ein Festival in der Nähe besuchten, war die Unterkunft bestens geeignet. Zur Ausstattung lässt sich sagen, dass diese super ist und auch alles, was das Herz begehrt zu finden ist. Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung und für nächstes Jahr schon wieder gebucht!

Super !
Wir hatten ein wunderschönes "Familienwochende" mit Kindern, Schwiegerkindern, Enkelkindern und unseren Collies.
Es war alles passend und perfekt!
Die unterschiedlichen Bereiche des Hauses ermöglichten je nach Bedarf die erforderlichen Trennungen und gleichzeitig haben wir von den großzügigen Gemeinschaftsbereichen Küche mit Vorraum und Wohnzimmer profitieren können.
Auch das Grillen und Spielen der Kinder vor dem Haus war unkompliziert und nett.
Das Haus ist auch gut mit Küchenutensilien, Spielen und Büchern ausgestattet. Der Hauseigentümer macht seinem Namen keine Ehre, er ist nämlich sehr nett und freundlich. Das gilt auch für die anderen Mitarbeiter!
Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus zum Erkunden der interessanten nahen Umgebung. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Empfehlenswert
Ausgesprochen freundlicher eMail Kontakt zum Eigentümer Herrn v. Streit. Beschreibung des Hauses stimmt mit der Realität überein. Hervorzuheben ist die erstklassige Küche incl. Ausstattung und die tollen Bäder. Trotz "Raucherlaubnis" riecht das Haus nicht nach altem Zigarettenqualm (liegt vllt. daran, dass andere Mieter wie wir ausschließlich draußen geraucht haben). Nagelneuer Landmann Kugelgrill vorhanden (Februar 2017). 531.- € für 9 Personen für 3 Nächte incl. Reinigungsgebühr und winterlichem Heizkostenzuschlag halte ich für einen angemessenen Preis (Direktbuchung bei Herren v. Streit). Schlüsselübergabe und Fehausübernahme durch Herrn Otto (wohnt 50 Meter entfernt vom Ferienhaus) klappte, trotz Verspätung unsererseits, reibungslos. Die Lage kann man zwischen 1 und 5 Sterne bewerten. Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Wer Action vor der Haustür braucht, wäre hier falsch aufgehoben. Im Ort keinerlei Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Allerdings bekommt man im nahegelegenen Ballenstedt Alles für den täglichen Bedarf (mehrere Discounter, Supermärkte, kleine Geschäfte, Restaurants und eine Tankstelle). Für kulturell Interessierte Urlauber, liegt in der Umgebung das eine oder andere Schloss/Burg. Sehenswert sind auch die historischen Städte Wernigerode und Quedlinburg. Familien mit Kindern finden in der Umgebung Möglichkeiten die "kleinen Racker" zu bespaßen. Für uns 9 erwachsene Personen war es die ideale "Location". Gerne wieder.

sehr zu empfehlen
Wir waren mit 9 Personen im Haus am Schulplatz in Ballenstedt/Radisleben. Alles war gut in Schuss und auch für diese Personenanzahl gut geeignet. Von Ballenstedt aus kann man viele Touristenziele mit dem Auto erreichen.

Traiingslager mit Spaßfaktor
Auch dieses Jahr hatten wir wieder sehr schöne Tage in diesem tollen, großen, geräumigen Haus. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Ausgangspunkt für Fahrradtouren ist ideal. Wir sind so einige Bergetappen gefahren aber auch eine Flachetappe mit Badestopp. Stärken konnten wir uns in den schönen naheglegenden Orten wie Quedlinburg oder auch Gernrode. Es war ein gelungenes "Trainingslager". Wir hatten tolles Wetter, eine Menge Spaß und kommen sehr gern im nächsten Jahr wieder :)

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage

Familienurlaub
Wir haben in diesem schönen Ferienhaus unseren 3 Generstionen- Familienurlaub mit 11 Personen (im Alter von 4 Monaten bis 63 Jahren) plus zwei Hunden verbracht. Für alle Familienmitglieder war ausreichend Platz und es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Durch die ruhige Lage ist es ideal für Hundebesitzer und Familien mit Kleinkindern. Besonders toll fand ich die vorurteilsfreie Zusage für die Unterkunft von zwei Hunden. Das ist häufig eher die Ausnahme. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war verlässlich und zügig. Auch die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr nett und bedürfnisorientiert. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit dort und empfehlen dieses Haus weiter.

Rennrad - Wochenende
Ein sehr großes geräumiges Haus mit guter Ausstattung (Geschirrspüler und Kühlschrank etwas klein). Ideal für größere Gruppen. Ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Rennradtouren mit vielen verkehrsarmen Straßen.
Wir hatten viel Spaß und waren rund um zufrieden. Gerne wieder!

Das Haus ist sehr schön. Die Ausstattung ist toll. Alle sehr nett.
Die Umgebung bietet viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen, wir waren 14 Tage zu Gast und hatten es nicht geschafft alles zu erkunden.

Schönstes Wochenende seit Langem
Das Ferienhaus war die perfekte Unterkunft für unsere, aus Generationen bestehende Reisegruppe. Es bietet ausreichend Platz für gemeinsames kochen und Beisammensein. Der Ort Radisleben beziehungsweise dessen Lage lädt zu ausgedehnten Radtouren und Wanderungen in die Umgebung ein, in der es viel sehenswertes zu erkunden gibt. Wir kommen sicherlich wieder, denn wir haben noch nicht genug gesehen!

Super Haus!!!
Das Haus ist ein Traum...wunderschön..super gross.Ausstattung ist völlig ausreichend und toll. Die Lage ist natürlich sehr ruhig und naja...nicht besonders. ..aber im Nebenort- gibt es einige Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen etc. Können es als Gruppenaufenthalt nur empfehlen.

Ein gelungenes Familienwochenende
Wir wohnten im Mai 2013 zu unserem traditionellen 3-Generationentreffen in dieser sehr schönen Unterkunft.
Wir fanden ein sehr geräumiges und gepflegtes Ferienhaus vor. Es fehlte an nichts, vor allem war es sehr geräumig, und somit für uns 10 Personen ideal.
Der Vermieter war sehr nett und sehr bemüht. Er gab uns für unseren Aufenthalt wertvolle Tips, Ausflugsziele und Gastronomie.
Alles in allem war es eine schöne Zeit, und wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.
