The house has been recently renovated and offers all the modern luxuries you need for a relaxing stay on the North Holland coast.
This house is located in a small park where some houses are permanently occupied. Since there are no facilities, the park remains wonderfully quiet. The center of Egmond is nearby. A large supermarket with fresh market, fish shop, bakery and butcher is 1.5 km away and in the center of Egmond aan Zee are all kinds of nice shops, terraces and restaurants.
The house is wonderful in every season. In spring and summer you can enjoy the sunny garden, which faces south. So you have sun almost all day in the garden and in the house. But also in autumn and winter it is wonderful to stay in this house. The wood stove in the living room makes it cozy and comfortable, so staying in the house in bad weather is absolutely no punishment. The living room has a sliding door that can be opened completely when the weather is nice.
Design
In the kitchen, the cooking area is equipped with a 4-burner stove, an oven and a dishwasher. The refrigerator is located in the storage room off the kitchen. Pans, cooking utensils, dishes and glasses are provided. There is a Nespresso machine for you to enjoy a cup of coffee, but we also have a Senseo machine if you prefer that coffee. During your stay you can use the washing machine free of charge.
The cottage has two bedrooms for 2 people, both with a large luxury box spring bed and a wardrobe to store your clothes. These are full beds with good mattresses. The upstairs bedroom has sloping sides and a skylight. The dormer window and high ceiling make it a wonderful room. The bathroom has a shower with rain shower, sink and toilet.
Garden
The house stands on more than 300 m2 of land and the garden is completely sheltered and can be closed with sun and shade. From early morning you can enjoy the first rays of the sun in the beautiful sun loungers. You can relax and sunbathe on the two sun loungers and dine at the large garden table in the evening. The grass is perfect for children and in good weather you can fill your own pool for extra water fun. And of course you can enjoy a visit to the sauna after a day at the beach, in the dunes or in town.
Children
For the children we have a few toys, there are some reading and colouring books. Of course you can also bring children's equipment if needed. You can also use a cot and / or a high chair. Let us know if you are interested and we will make sure it is ready. Right next to the house is a public playground where children can play.

Surroundings
The widest and most diverse nature reserve along the Dutch coast is located here in North Holland, including the Egmondse Duinen. Nature lovers can take a walk or a bike ride through the beautiful surroundings. Egmond aan den Hoef is a quiet village near the seaside resort of Egmond aan Zee and the picturesque village of Bergen in North Holland, which is also definitely worth a visit during your stay. You can't ignore Bergen, especially if you like art and culture. Bergen is a true artists' village with many museums and art galleries, not to mention lovely restaurants and terraces. Alkmaar, Haarlem and Hoorn are also highly recommended and Amsterdam is also nearby.
Duinhuys De Zilte Zee is located on the edge of the Egmondse Duinen. Here you can get some fresh air, climb and scramble. Would you like to escape the crowds for a while? Then visit this beautiful nature reserve where it is wonderfully quiet. More than 60 kilometres of walking trails have been laid out that take you to the highest dunes, the oldest forests and the drifting dunes.
Beach hut?
Besides this beautiful holiday home, I would like to draw your attention to the possibility of renting our beach hut on the beautiful beach of Egmond aan Zee for a small fee. This means that you don't have to lug your belongings towards the coast every day and you are assured of a wonderful spot on the beach ...... Ideal!

Bei einer Stornierung innerhalb von 8 Wochen vor Anreise werden die übrigen 75% in Rechnung gebracht, dies bedeutet 100% Stornierungskosten. Falls der Mieter das Ferienhaus nicht nutzt oder es bereits vor Ablauf der Mietzeit verlässt, erfolgt keine (anteilige) Rückzahlung der Miete. Falls der Mieter die Reservierung umbuchen möchte, ist dies eventuell in Absprache mit Duinhuys De Zilte Zee möglich. Diese Anfrage muss vom Mieter per E-Mail gestellt werden.
