This comfortable chalet is located at Bospark de Wervelwind in Garderen. The fully landscaped and well-kept garden makes it a wonderful place to stay. The garden of the chalet is fenced, so that the pets can also enjoy. It is ideal for a couple or a family.
There are many possibilities for walking and cycling routes. Walk into the evening sun or take a nice morning walk. The nearby nature reserve of the Veluwe is definitely worth a visit. Make free use of the well-known white bicycles to explore the landscape. The Kröller Müller Museum is also worth a visit.
In this chalet, the double bed has a box spring. Parking is available on site and you are allowed to bring a dog (no cats).
Workers are not allowed in this property. You can charge your electric car at the front of the park. You are not allowed to do this at the holiday home.

A dated house. Little comfort.
Number of lamps do not work. Stains on the bedding. Many burned out candles, no new ones. Toilet seat is loose and crooked. Dark house. The price we paid (€668 euros) is too high for this house! Concerns Dassenburcht 48.

Chalet was clean and tidy. Reception well organized and cordial. Quiet park feels very safe.
Garden well shielded, the dogs enjoy themselves very well. Good garden set.
Beds: the topper a bit on the hard side, a bit too hard for the elderly with back problems.
Too bad there is no dishwasher .. otherwise almost everything has been thought of. So highly recommended.

I went with a friend and deliberately booked a 2 bedroom cottage so we each have our own bedroom. What describes our surprise, we had to sleep together in a double bed with a double duvet. If we wanted to use the other room we had to buy bed linen Never experienced this before, the lady indicated that she was counting on a couple with 2 people….. I also know couples who do not sleep together, eg because one of the partners snores. What kind of weird train of thought is this? I had not done the booking correctly, we had 2 dogs and that was not reported. No problem, we will pay for that. 6.00 per dog per day. This was not mentioned on the site, but there was a charge, but not that much…. So our welcome was not exactly friendly, it was just about the rules we had to abide by. In the end she didn't charge for the bed linen, but I did have to make the bed myself. The bedroom was freezing cold, there was no heating and a very narrow bed. Upon entering, the heating was set to 13 degrees, so not exactly a warm welcome. No, this is not our park.

Neat chalet, rather large caravan. Very quiet residence. Everything necessary in stock but nothing extra. Bathroom small but decent. Not enough electricity in the bathroom. Nice bathroom. Not much storage space outside in the bedroom. house for 4 people we find only crab. Good parking space. Well closed for a dog. Bicycle shed garden house possible. Welcome ok. Plenty of shopping and dining options in Garderen.

- Toilet seat broken - Fan in bathroom / toilet made a terrible noise - It was dirty and dusty (broom had dust and hair in it) - bed and furniture, old / bad. over 700 euros not worth. Must be upgraded.

The chalet is somewhat dated which irritated me the most, in the description of this chalet it said there is a modern combi oven and microwave so we bought a number of microwave meals there and got to work, no way microwave did not work when asked to the manager was this known, all meals thrown away the waste bin in very sin 30 euros. For the final cleaning must be paid, logical, but the windows had not been cleaned in recent months, it seemed frosted glass all in all not 100 percent satisfied.

My daughter and I had booked a house for 1 week at the De Whirwind holiday park at the beginning of September. House no. 0026-29 It was 30 degrees that week, so it was nice to be outside. Wonderful to rest after a turbulent year. However, the owner forgot to mention when booking that work would also take place during that time. That started on Monday, September 4. We immediately informed her of the fact and asked whether she knew how long this would take. We sat all day with a large running tap next to our house that made a lot of noise. Her answer was: only 1 day. And when we asked why this had not been reported in advance, she said: I didn't think that was necessary as it would only be 1 day. Then it was 3 days. Because we thought we would finally have some peace and quiet after 3, the noise and noise of other homeowners of houses who probably wanted to renovate their houses for the winter started, while upon entering there were regulations hanging on the wall: the De Whirlwind forest park is a quiet park. Also during the day. Everyone is expected to maintain peace here. This certainly does not apply to the homeowners? The owner of this house was not empathetic or social and certainly not sympathetic.
Shame. The name of the park lives up to its name! Never again for us!
