Is a newly built holiday home of an architect family by the sea... So that you can hear the waves crashing! The house was designed to emphasize the Portuguese character and the location by the sea. The house has an excellent climate in summer as well as in winter. All year round - even in the mild Algarve winter - there are flowering shrubs climbing plants and the large orchard and of course palm trees!
Since the Wadden Sea is only 50 m away you can go there directly in your bathing suit at high tide!

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home with large garden is located in Livramento/Arroteia at the sea on the south coast of Portugal, between Faro and Tavira, in the middle of the nature reserve "Ria Formosa", which is known for its island landscape, many rare bird species, plants and marine animals. The islands in front of the Wadden Sea with dunes and endless sandy beaches can be reached on foot at low tide - a wonderful hike over sandbanks, small islands and tideways.on the way there are always good swimming opportunities at low tide without high Atlantic waves.
In the nearby Pedras d'El Rei you can take a small beach train to the offshore island. At the very well-kept beach there are some beach restaurants, bars, tennis courts, surf - and sea school and all the facilities that belong to the beach life (rental of deck chairs, umbrellas, etc.)
The sandy beach of the nearby town of Fuseta also offers beautiful bathing possibilities, independent of the tides. From there you can take a small passenger ferry to the offshore dune island "Ilha Armona" in 5 minutes.
In the harbour of Fuseta boat trips (dolphin watching), kayak rental, kitesurfing and stand-up paddle rental are offered.

Cancellation terms:
After signing the contract, 30% of the total rental price - thereafter: Cancellation up to 3 months before the start of the trip will result in forfeiture of the deposit - Cancellation up to 2 months before the start of the trip will cost 50% of the total rental price - Cancellation less than 2 months before the start of the trip will cost 80% of the total rental price - In case of early departure, 100% of the total rental price will be charged.

In addition to the beautiful beaches, it is worth visiting the typical small neighboring towns (often of Moorish origin) by the sea:
Historic fish halls ,fanciful nested houses with roof terraces, venerable art nouveau houses, baroque churches and castle ruins from Arabic times.
Also trips into the hilly hinterland with charming villages are very rewarding. For a trip to Lisbon there is a good train connection: in the morning from Livramento station (15 minutes walk) with a change in Faro you will be in Lisbon around noon
Every Sunday morning there is a big popular market in one of the small towns in the vicinity.
