Description
With its southern exposure and the large window areas along the entire façade of the house, the living and dining rooms on the ground floor are flooded with Algarvian sunlight in all seasons. An outside pergola above the terrace facing the garden provides a pleasant climate in the house in summer. In addition to the living room, dining room and kitchen there is a bedroom and a bathroom on the ground floor. The kitchen on the ground floor offers everything you need to enjoy your stay at Casa Flor do Mar. And of course, all this in the way a household should be today: electric cooker with ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher. A washing machine is of course also available. There is also an outdoor kitchen next to the terrace facing the garden.
The large bedroom on the upper floor also faces south and is flooded by the Algarve sun. This guarantees the guests of our holiday house a fascinating view of the sea already in the morning before getting up. Besides the bedroom there is another bathroom and a shower room on the upper floor. An outside staircase leads from the terrace, which stretches across the entire width of the house in front of the bedroom, to the roof terrace.
The house with its small garden, in which lemons grow, is located in a very normal housing estate.
On the terraces facing the garden - covered by a pergola - and on the upper floor in front of the large bedroom as well as on the roof terrace, you can enjoy the open air all year round. There are also other private holiday homes in the area. Tourist new buildings and hotel complexes like in the Western Algarve: Nothing!
Casa Flor do Mar is only three minutes walk from the Wadden Sea. The offshore islands with dunes and endless sandy and bathing beaches can be reached at low tide by canoe or on foot. Tidal flat walks through sandbanks and tideways are an experience. At Pedras d'el Rei beach, only a few kilometres away, you can take a small train to the offshore island Ilha de Tavira or walk there.
At the very well maintained beach you can find everything that belongs to beach life like the rental of deck chairs, sunshades etc. The nearby fishing village of Fuzeta is particularly beautiful, from where you can reach the island of Armona with its wonderful sandy beaches in ten minutes by boat in summer. With all the comfort that the beaches offer: Nature and tranquillity have not let you take the reins! Relaxation without rush? Whoever is looking for that will find it here!

Before the adequate ligings and the large rameparties were slowly brought to the comfortable level of the house, the whereabouts and employees were moved to all the areas of the Algarve on the ground where they had started. A buitenpergola has been built on the terrace with no need to use it for a pleasant climate in the house in the zomer. Now that the woonkamer, eetkamer and keuken it is a slaapkamer and a badkamer on the begangengrund. The chicken on the begging ground offers everything you need to enjoy your stay in Casa Flor do Mar. All rooms are equipped with a kitchen that must be ready for use: electric appliances with ceramic cooking plates and oven, water. A washing machine is naturally available. It is also a kitchen cooker after having been placed in the garden with no need to use it.
The large sleeping accommodation on the building site is also open to the public and is overspoilt by the Algarve. This ensures that guests of our holiday home have a fascinating insight into the sea, all in the ochtend for het staying. Now the bedroom is also a bathroom and a shower on the living room. There is a wooden trap that stretches out over the cosy bower of the house for the slaapchambers, and then it is sitting there.
Het huis met zijn kleine tuin, waarin citroenen groeien, is situated in a sea "normal" woonwijk.
On the terraces that suffer from this - covered with a pergola - and on the building site for the large sleeping quarters, and on the terrace that can be walked on quite a bit, but has been open all year by using the open light. Casa Flor do Mar is situated on the right side of the Waddenzee, only three minutes away from the city. The offshore areas with two and three beach and two two beaches can be reached with a canoe or walk. Wadlopen by the banks and have a ticket for the time being. On the beach of Pedras d'el Rei, at a distance of only a few kilometres, you can walk with a treintje near the island of Ilha de Tavira for the customer or walk there.
On the beach that has been approved, everything that is found at the beach as well as the prevention of lichen, parasols, etc. is obvious. The nearby village of Fuzeta is also very nice. In the same time you can take the boat to the island of Armona with its beautiful beaches in just a few minutes. Wonderful switch off & discover far away from the hustle & bustle
Casa Flor do Mar is unique. We were there with 2 children (8 and 5) and there was something new to discover every day. Typical of the country, relaxed, super nice on site with many possibilities for activities. The nature there is wonderful, mudflat hiking to the beach or with the canoe at high tide. Walking, jogging etc. directly from the house and sunny spots from the garden to the roof terrace. The furnishings are noticeably "lived in", not in the "slick" holiday home standard, which creates an added sense of well-being for us.
We felt extremely comfortable, refreshed and are richer by a beautiful experience.
