You live idyllically in the old centre of Sagard, the first spa town on the island of Rügen. The sunny half of the house is located right next to the Brunnenaue. The Brunnenaue is a historically preserved spring and floodplain landscape with a bathhouse, water playground and various paths and places to walk and linger.
Your accommodation extends over 2 floors with an unobstructed view of the Brunnenaue park. The quiet garden with sunny, wind-protected seating area invites you to relax.
With its 120 sqm of living space, the house is very spacious and suitable for up to 8 guests.
Facilities:
Three separate bedrooms, a large living area with adjoining dining area, fitted kitchen, bathroom and guest toilet, utility room with washing machine and freezer , WLAN, garden with beach chair and lounge furniture, barbecue area, free car parking in front of the house and a lockable garage for bicycles.
Ground floor:
Large hallway, kitchen with adjoining dining area for up to 8 guests. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a kettle, a refrigerator, a filter coffee machine and a modern ceramic hob. Plenty of storage space and work surface are available.
The adjoining bright and light-flooded dining and living area with its large windows offers plenty of spaciousness, comfortable seating and a 55 inch Smart - TV. On this floor you will also find a guest WC.
Upper floor:
On this floor there is a spacious master bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a bunk bed (90 x 200). Another master bedroom ( double bed 180x200 cm) with view into the garden towards the park "Brunnenaue". Another bedroom for another 2 guests (double bed 180x200 cm) with another TV. You also have a large bathroom with bathtub, shower, two washbasins and hairdryer. All living rooms and bedrooms have windows with privacy and insect screens.
Utility room and bicycle storage in the basement:
There you can use a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. In the lockable garage, you can store your bicycles or store or dry your fishing accessories/fishing gear.
Family friendly:
The house is child-friendly with children's crockery, children's cutlery, with toys for the younger children and party games for the older children. In the garden there are toys (scooter, running bike, various Bobby-Car models etc.) for different age groups. In the bicycle garage there is a large trolley (seats 4 small children) for free use. Cots and highchairs are available free of charge on request. The property is fenced.

Location and surroundings of object
Experience the tranquillity and all the beauty and diversity of the island of Rügen. You will find a secluded spot at almost any time of year. The village of Sagard is located on the Jasmund peninsula. The Jasmund peninsula is a holiday and nature paradise in the north-east of Rügen, offering charming places and natural sights such as the chalk cliffs in the Jasmund National Park.
In the immediate vicinity and close to the holiday home you will find, among others:
The church of St. Michael in Sagard, built around 1210, is one of the oldest places of worship on the island of Rügen, which only received a tower extension at the beginning of the 15th century
The village of Martinshafen is located on the eastern shore of the Great Jasmund Bodden and offers moorings and maritime infrastructure to local water sports enthusiasts as well as guests.
The flint fields on Rügen are located south of Neu Mukran in the northern part of the Schmalen Heide. These are boulders of flint from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
Starting in the village of Glowe (approx. 7 km from the holiday home) to the village of Julisruh, you will find the most beautiful and the longest bathing beach on the island of Rügen, called the Schaabe. The 8 km long spit connects the Rügen peninsulas Jasmund and Wittow.
On this stretch of beach on the island you will find a separate textile beach, a nudist beach and a dog beach.
On cool days, you can visit the Jasmar thermal baths in Neddesitz, only 4 kilometres away, with water fun attractions and a variety of wellness offers. There is also a chalk museum there.
Spyker Castle, built in the 16th century and located on the stretch between Sagard and Glowe, is the oldest secular building on the island of Rügen and was converted into a Renaissance castle from 1650.
The Jasmund National Park extends in the north-eastern part of the Jasmund Peninsula not far from Sagard, mainly over the densely wooded area of the Stubnitz between Sassnitz and Lohme. The Stubnitz is a slightly hilly forest landscape that extends in the east of the Jasmund Peninsula from Sassnitz to Lohme and is part of the Jasmund National Park
In the National Park's visitor centre at the Königsstuhl, you can learn a lot of interesting facts about the history of the Jasmund Peninsula's formation in the spacious exhibition and outdoor area
The harbour town of Sassnitz is a state-recognised resort in the north-east of Rügen and a good starting point for extensively exploring the natural surroundings with the striking chalk cliffs. A landmark of the harbour town of Sassnitz since 2007 is a suspension bridge for pedestrians that connects the town centre with the town harbour and is known as the "balcony with sea view".
Also in Sassnitz is the longest outer pier in Europe. This was completed by 1912 to protect the fishing harbour that was being built at the time
In Mukran, not far from Sagard, there is an important ferry port that is the maritime gateway to the Baltic States.
The Störtebeker Festival on the island of Rügen is held every year from mid-June to early September on the natural stage in Ralswiek and is one of the island's visitor magnets. The play features around 120 performers, various ships, over 30 horses and numerous special effects and tells the story of the legendary pirate "Klaus Störtebeker' and offers entertainment at the highest level.
Sagard offers ideal conditions for extensive walking and cycling tours, as well as for horse riding and fishing
and much more can be found in the immediate vicinity of the holiday home.

Shopping (Lidl, Aldi, Edeka, bakery, DIY store) is only a 5-minute walk away. Not far from the holiday home are a Hungarian and an Italian restaurant. There are doctors, dentists and a pharmacy in the village (3 minutes' walk).

Super apartment for families! TOP price-performance ratio, very clean, spacious and bright
It was a super week on Rügen - thanks to the summer weather and this beautiful holiday flat. Plenty of space for everyone, very well equipped, bright large rooms, quiet sunny garden to relax in. Even with a bicycle garage!
We will definitely be back!

Very tastefully furnished, great quality, plenty of space!
We have experienced several vacation apartments, and we are simply thrilled with this one:
Large, sturdy cabinets in sufficient numbers to store everything you have on a vacation rental (especially with many people), cozy couch & armchairs, large dining table - all of great quality. The beds and mattresses are also of very high quality; we were able to sleep well, which was certainly also due to the fresh sea air ;)
There is more than just the basic equipment of cutlery, dishes, and glasses, so you don't have to wash up constantly and can even host guests. The dishwasher is also very convenient here.
To the delight of the kids, there are 2 large flat-screen TVs, and one of them is definitely internet-capable! In good weather, you can enjoy the garden with seating furniture, a sunbathing area, a beach chair, and a grill, as well as a stunning landscape if you want to hike or bike a bit.
The landlords are very nice. Key handover, arrival, and departure were calm and straightforward. The entire facility gives a very well-maintained and clean impression. Sagard is not directly on the Baltic Sea, but is very central: chalk cliffs, harbor, beach, lagoon, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, and shopping opportunities are all nearby.
