Our cozy holiday home was furnished with much love and care. There is nothing missing, so always the feedback of our guests (enough cutlery, dishes, pans and pots).
Because we know from our own experience, even on vacation you do not want to miss comfort and coziness (and it is annoying when there is only 1 cutlery set for each guest......)

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is in every respect an ideal location for carefree and relaxing holidays. The house is located in a holiday park with playgrounds, football pitch, basketball court, table tennis table, adventure playground, mini golf (for a fee), trampoline (for a fee), bike and go-kart rental (for a fee).
The park is in a quiet location, there is no through traffic in front of our house as it is near the end of a cul-de-sac.
Through the park you reach the dunes and the beach after a few minutes.
The Helder, the island of Texel, Alkmaar and much more in the "Kop van Holland" there is to visit, ideal even if it should rain (yes, that happens :) ).
If you want to visit Amsterdam again - no problem, the train leaves Den Helder station twice an hour without changing to Amsterdam-Centraal

You have to bring your own bed linen and towels - but they can also be rented on site at the park administration on arrival.

Haus gut, Service schlecht, Für Hundebesitzer sehr teuer
Das Haus ist schön. Die Lage fast am Ende einer Sackgasse im Ferienpark Strandslag ist in Ordnung. Fragen die an den Vermieter gestellt werden, werden sehr schleppend beantwortet und auch nicht komplett, was zu erneuten Nachfragen führt. Der Zahlungseingang wird auch ohne Nachfrage nicht bestätigt. Wir hatten ein Heizungsproblem, weil ab Freitag die Heizung kalt blieb, meine Anfrage was wir tun können wurde erst am Montag beantwortet. Das erweckt für mich den Eindruck, dass das Gästewohl zweitrangig ist. Nachdem wir wegen eines medizinischen Notfalls mit Krankenhausaufenthalt in der Nacht vorzeitig abreisen musste, hatte ich den Vermieter informiert, dass wir die eingeräumte Spülmaschine, vergessen haben anzustellen und um Entschuldigung gebeten, dies dem Notfall geschuldet war. Am nächsten Tag bekamen wir einen Abzug von unserer Kaution, wegen Wasser in der Blumenvase (die frischen Blumen waren für die Reinigungskraft gedacht), nicht angestellter Spülmaschine, Hundespielzeug im Garten, was nicht von uns sondern, den Vorgängern war, ein entsorgtes Hundespielzeug, dass wir vergessen hatten und einnicht abgestellter Gefrierschrank und Kühlschrank, obwohl der Kühlschrank bei unserer Anreise auch nicht abgestellt war. Eine Nachfrage zu dem medizinischen Notfall oder gute Genesungswünsche, hielt der Vermieter nicht für nötig. Wenn wir für den Aufenthalt eines Hundes € 140 plus € 35 für den Mehraufwand zur Endreinigung und Endreinigung für 2 Personen von € 90 berechnet bekomme, sollten insgesamt € 265 für Hund und Reinigung ausreichen z. B. eine gefüllte Spülmaschine mit schon eingelegtem Spültabs ausreichen? Dann aber noch € 40 ohne Rücksprache abzuziehen, empfinde ich als Empathielos und Geldgierig. Nach Reklamation haben wir € 25 erstattet bekommen. Bei unserer Ankunft waren auch zwei große Hundehaufen im Garten. Wir haben weder das noch die übers Wochenende kaltgebliebene Heizung nicht als Anlass für eine Mietminderung genommen. Von daher KEINE EMPFEHLUNG.

Wir beantworten Anfragen unserer Gäste immer sehr zeitnah, es sei denn, wie in Ihrem Falle, der Gast schreibt an einem Freitagnachmittag oder in der Nacht von Freitag auf Samstag nicht an eine der aus dem Mietvertrag bekannten privaten Mailadressen der Vermieter, sondern nach Dienstschluss an einen geschäftlichen Mailaccount.
Sollte die Heizung einmal nicht funktionieren, sind an mehreren Stellen gut sichtbar Notfallnummern (24/7-Service) angegeben, dies hätten wir Ihnen gerne mitgeteilt, wenn Sie uns telefonisch kontaktiert hätten, nur dann können wir zeitnah helfen. Im Fall eines tatsächlichen Heizungsausfalls bekommen wir darüber hinaus sofort über eine App eine Hinweismeldung und wir hätten uns dann umgehend mit Ihnen in Verbindung gesetzt.
Was wir bei unserer Anreise vorgefunden haben, hätten, falls wir nicht selber gekommen wären, die nächsten Gäste vorgefunden und hätten sich zurecht beschwert. So konnten wir einen negativen Eindruck verhindern.
Uns ist wichtig, daß jeder Gast ein sauberes und ordentliches Haus vorfindet und wir bemühen uns sehr darum, auch wenn das von Deutschland aus nicht immer ganz einfach ist.
Darum ist es wichtig, bei eventuellen Mängeln (siehe Ihre negativen Erfahrungen mit dem Hundehaufen) SOFORT darauf hinzuweisen. Ihnen standen zu diesem Zweck mehrere private Telefonnummern zur Verfügung.
Da Sie in Ihrer allerersten Mail kurz nach der Abreise vom vergangenen Samstag erwähnt haben, daß Sie sich in unserem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt haben, hoffen wir, daß Sie sich in den 14 Tagen trotz allem gut erholt haben.

Highly recommended
We spent a wonderful vacation in the house with two teenagers and a dog. It was simply dreamy. The house offers enough space for 5 people with a dog, a lot of comfort, a beautiful kitchen where we could self-cater excellently. A very cozy living room. A gorgeous garden with a cozy, wind-protected, and private sitting area. The footpath to the dunes and the beach is very short and pleasant. The area is fundamentally lovable. In this beautiful, comfortable house, we were able to enjoy our vacation in any weather. Highly recommended!

When we, 2 related families with children, bought this house more than 15 years ago, we always made sure that we made the house as comfortable and homely as possible. Before we bought it, we often stayed in the various holiday apartments and holiday homes and experienced all too often how important it is to feel comfortable even on holiday. For many years our (regular) guests have confirmed to us that they felt comfortable in our house, whether in summer or autumn or spring, in good or bad weather. The peace and quiet, the fresh sea air, walks on the beach, extended e-bike tours as well as interesting excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity are all good reasons for a holiday in our house.
