Our cozy holiday home was furnished with much love and care. There is nothing missing, so always the feedback of our guests (enough cutlery, dishes, pans and pots).
Because we know from our own experience, even on vacation you do not want to miss comfort and coziness (and it is annoying when there is only 1 cutlery set for each guest......)

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is in every respect an ideal location for carefree and relaxing holidays. The house is located in a holiday park with playgrounds, football pitch, basketball court, table tennis table, adventure playground, mini golf (for a fee), trampoline (for a fee), bike and go-kart rental (for a fee).
The park is in a quiet location, there is no through traffic in front of our house as it is near the end of a cul-de-sac.
Through the park you reach the dunes and the beach after a few minutes.
The Helder, the island of Texel, Alkmaar and much more in the "Kop van Holland" there is to visit, ideal even if it should rain (yes, that happens :) ).
If you want to visit Amsterdam again - no problem, the train leaves Den Helder station twice an hour without changing to Amsterdam-Centraal

Cancellation terms:
Dear guests, We STRONGLY recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance that also covers cases of official Corona regulations. One of many insurance providers is ERV (Europäische Reiseversicherung). Our general cancellation policy is as follows: If no replacement tenant can be found, cancellations up to the 42nd day before the arrival date will incur a charge of 30% of the rental price. For cancellations from the 42nd day up to the 28th day before the arrival date, you are required to pay 50% of the rental price, and from the 28th day up to the day of arrival, 90% cancellation fees will be charged.

!! ATTENTION: For technical reasons, the arrival in the months of July and August 2021 must take place exclusively on Fridays. This means that the week from Sat. 26.6. to Fri. 2.7. is a short week (6 days) and the week from Fri. 27.8. to Sat. 4.9. is a long week (8 days). The prices will be adjusted accordingly
You have to bring your own bed linen and towels - but they can also be rented on site at the park administration on arrival.

House good, service bad, very expensive for dog owners.
The house is beautiful. The location almost at the end of a dead-end street in the holiday park Strandslag is fine. Questions asked to the landlord are answered very slowly and also not completely, which leads to further inquiries. The receipt of payment is also not confirmed without inquiry. We had a heating problem because the heating remained cold from Friday, my inquiry about what we can do was only answered on Monday. It gives me the impression that the guests' well-being is secondary. After we had to leave early due to a medical emergency with a hospital stay the night before, I informed the landlord that we had forgotten to turn on the provided dishwasher and apologized, attributing this to the emergency. The next day we received a deduction from our deposit due to water in the flower vase (the fresh flowers were meant for the cleaning staff), unemptied dishwasher, dog toy in the garden, which was not from us but from the previous tenants, a discarded dog toy that we had forgotten, and an unturned off freezer and refrigerator, although the refrigerator was also not turned off upon our arrival. A query about the medical emergency or good wishes for recovery was not deemed necessary by the landlord. If we are charged € 140 for the stay of a dog plus € 35 for the additional effort for the final cleaning and final cleaning for 2 people of € 90, a total of € 265 for the dog and cleaning should be sufficient, e.g., should a filled dishwasher with already inserted dishwasher tabs be enough? But then to deduct € 40 without consultation, I find to be lacking in empathy and greedy for money. After the complaint, we received a refund of € 25. Upon our arrival, there were also two large dog piles in the garden. We did not take either that or the heating that remained cold over the weekend as a reason for a rent reduction. Therefore, NO RECOMMENDATION.

Wir beantworten Anfragen unserer Gäste immer sehr zeitnah, es sei denn, wie in Ihrem Falle, der Gast schreibt an einem Freitagnachmittag oder in der Nacht von Freitag auf Samstag nicht an eine der aus dem Mietvertrag bekannten privaten Mailadressen der Vermieter, sondern nach Dienstschluss an einen geschäftlichen Mailaccount.
Sollte die Heizung einmal nicht funktionieren, sind an mehreren Stellen gut sichtbar Notfallnummern (24/7-Service) angegeben, dies hätten wir Ihnen gerne mitgeteilt, wenn Sie uns telefonisch kontaktiert hätten, nur dann können wir zeitnah helfen. Im Fall eines tatsächlichen Heizungsausfalls bekommen wir darüber hinaus sofort über eine App eine Hinweismeldung und wir hätten uns dann umgehend mit Ihnen in Verbindung gesetzt.
Was wir bei unserer Anreise vorgefunden haben, hätten, falls wir nicht selber gekommen wären, die nächsten Gäste vorgefunden und hätten sich zurecht beschwert. So konnten wir einen negativen Eindruck verhindern.
Uns ist wichtig, daß jeder Gast ein sauberes und ordentliches Haus vorfindet und wir bemühen uns sehr darum, auch wenn das von Deutschland aus nicht immer ganz einfach ist.
Darum ist es wichtig, bei eventuellen Mängeln (siehe Ihre negativen Erfahrungen mit dem Hundehaufen) SOFORT darauf hinzuweisen. Ihnen standen zu diesem Zweck mehrere private Telefonnummern zur Verfügung.
Da Sie in Ihrer allerersten Mail kurz nach der Abreise vom vergangenen Samstag erwähnt haben, daß Sie sich in unserem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt haben, hoffen wir, daß Sie sich in den 14 Tagen trotz allem gut erholt haben.

Highly recommended
We spent a wonderful vacation in the house with two teenagers and a dog. It was simply dreamy. The house offers enough space for 5 people with a dog, a lot of comfort, a beautiful kitchen where we could self-cater excellently. A very cozy living room. A gorgeous garden with a cozy, wind-protected, and private sitting area. The footpath to the dunes and the beach is very short and pleasant. The area is fundamentally lovable. In this beautiful, comfortable house, we were able to enjoy our vacation in any weather. Highly recommended!

When we, 2 related families with children, bought this house more than 15 years ago, we always made sure that we made the house as comfortable and homely as possible. Before we bought it, we often stayed in the various holiday apartments and holiday homes and experienced all too often how important it is to feel comfortable even on holiday. For many years our (regular) guests have confirmed to us that they felt comfortable in our house, whether in summer or autumn or spring, in good or bad weather. The peace and quiet, the fresh sea air, walks on the beach, extended e-bike tours as well as interesting excursion destinations in the immediate vicinity are all good reasons for a holiday in our house.
