The various country homes are spread over the park. These are simple, adjoined bungalows, located in a semi-circle. They are simply furnished and are perfect for a low budget/explore Drenthe holiday. All houses have a garden with terrace and garden furniture.

In the middle of the beautiful Drenthe landscape, the Het Timmerholt property is located on the Westerborker stream. A small scale but spacious landscape holiday park of 20 hectares. In addition to the luxurious holiday homes, there is also a charming small campground with 40 sites. The park has been built around a lake rich in fish. Walking, cycling, Nordic walking, fishing, peace, space, nature combined with relaxation and comfort is what the Het Timmerholt property has to offer. All of the big Drenthe attractions, lovely nature parks many villages and beautiful towns are all within cycling distance. On the park itself there are many facilities for all ages; a good restaurant, a lovely beach on the recreation lake with a large play castle are only a few examples. During the summer holidays a recreation team will provide various activities.
The Het Timmerholt property is a spacious holiday park with many facilities for all ages. An ideal destination to relax or explore the beautiful Drenthe region.
Pets (max. 2) are accepted in a limited number of country homes of all types. The cost for this is EUR 4.50 per pet per night. This is only possible on request. To arrange this, contact the customer service centre by phone.

The location of the house is beautiful, on the water. Spacious garden around it. The house and facilities are good. The beds sleep well. The kitchen has a nice large combi oven. The sauna is wonderful. The maintenance of the garden furniture was not good and the cleaning was insufficient, unfortunately. The dining room chairs need to be renewed. There was a finely stocked bookcase with something for everyone.

Our cottage in Holt Timmer We really liked. Clean, spacious and good furniture. Because there was a little baby when it was a pity that there is no washing machine in the cottage was. We stayed with eight people in a house with sauna. That went well enough chairs at the table, sufficient facilities in the kitchen. The dishwasher had a "quick ready position" so no problems with cutlery. The bedrooms were large enough. Tip of attention was that the bathroom in the master bedroom downstairs heard, and the other bedrooms had to share a shower. TV and accessories prima.Mooi were located, and the park has a play area for kinderen.De environment is very interesting radio observatory, the megalith museum, the town westerbork itself all definitely moeite.Als only negative point I can mention wifi. That connection was really skinny often not found and low transmission quality. However, there were no charges, and we did not come to start browsing.
