What a fantastic place! The cabin is surrounded by beautiful forests and heathlands, and we loved watching the local wildlife from the terrace. The double bed was comfortable, and having a coffee machine was a delightful perk in the morning.

Overall, it's a decent place... although I expected more comfort for this price. The mattress is worn out, you lie on it like in a hammock. We noticed that the location is quite close to the A28... fortunately, after a few days the wind changed, so now we hear the birds and not the constant roaring traffic. Furthermore, there were still some signs of previous use. We are not really used to eating from the microwave, but that's a choice. Besides that, Drenthe is a beautiful part of the Netherlands. Too bad that there was no window in one bedroom and the window could not open in the second. Fine showers. Beautiful surroundings with lots of fens and heather interspersed with forests. From the location you can walk to the Terhorsterzand via a path along the meadow. Very nice area. A wonderful holiday address.

The accomodation was fine. However, the fence around the terrace was a hiccup with our young dog. With fenced I do not put a door on schrikdraad😡😡😡Konden without the dog leash, really dangerous.

The cottage is very small, especially for four people, we were two and could use the second room for our clothes and convenience, there is hardly any storage space, especially if you, as we stay a week on the spot.The shower is very good, but a small sink, where you can not dispose of toilet stuff, also the mirror (is not in the shower but in the bedroom) there is hardly any light. For those who want to cook themselves little furniture. The coffee maker did not do well, but after question to the owner directly got another. The first impression was that the house was clean, but with better viewing it could certainly be better, for the price that is asked for it !! the access to the house is in pebble, making it more difficult for people who are poorly legged window are in need of replacement, this is certainly necessary because many fly through the cows close to the huisje.een fende tuin I would really not call this , fence wire as closing and on the one being the entrance is not a closure very quiet for those who love silence

Wonderfully quiet location with a view of meadow with cows that also came cozy "neighborhoods". Also good opportunity to sit outside and eat (parasol available). Good cycling and directly from the cottage both walking and cycling opportunities. Supermarket on cycling distance to 21.00 uur.Enkele comments - no possibility to open window in bedrooms (with some cooler weather not so bad) - screens did not work so well (with some cooler weather not so bad) - no saucepan (ha ha , just fine to beat milk at the holiday coffee)

Very well-kept and cozy holiday home with well-equipped kitchen. Friendly owner too. The holiday home is very well situated with the most beautiful places of Drenthe easily accessible. Also for shops you do not have to drive too far. It was a blissful holiday with many beautiful walks, a delicious night's rest and a good evening meal at an archery. Oh yes, this privacy was only disturbed by a few curious cows -) This cottage is definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful relaxing week here. The cottage is tidy, cozy and provided with most amenities we have not been short of anything. The location is near the Dwingelderveld and even closer to the Terhorsterzand, where it is beautiful walking. The owner Fred is friendly and helpful. In short, a great place for anyone who wants to unwind a couple of days.

Cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The first evening while cooking we thought to turn pleasant music, no radio and television did not. No scissors present and no bread knife. This was, however, brought the same evening but TV did after installing only 4 channels. In the shower no plug for hair straightener and a half days spent in terrible sewer air. Beds were very soft, back pain as a result. Fortunately booked any night ...

Our stay began with a warm welcome by the owner of the house. Once inside, we noticed that the property was cleaned very well. The owner has thought of everything (beds, bath linen, dishwasher tablets etc.) This residence is located 500 meters from the NP Dwingelerveld and the location is a must for peace seekers and nature lovers. As a tenant, you're getting 10% discount in restaurant OP2 in the nearby village Spier.

We were warmly received. There were 10 guinea fowl eggs ready for us. Wonderful walks made over the flowering heather moor, including Westerbork viewed also cut museum (recommended), and sheep purchased in Balloo. By cooler weather were mainly inside when the wind changed, so we had little trouble from the main road.

Lovely week spent in a small but cozy cottage. Scenic hiking routes in the area. Hospitable and helpful owners of the farm. The Italian restaurant Piccola Roma in Beilen is a must.

Although we had a few days of rain the five that we were here, there were to find enough activities to entertain us. We have these visits the prison museum in Veenhuizen, but there is plenty to do in Drenthe Drenthe museum, Dolmen Museum, Camp Westerbork, Boomkroonpad to name but a few. But the cities and villages are definitely worth it. You can also go cycling and walking tours. For every wils.Vanuit the cottage can be contracted as the Terhorster Sand. Highly recommended for a walk in a beautiful piece natuur.We have had some wonderful days.

Beautiful location close to beautiful nature reserves and easily accessible.
Ideal as a stay to make beautiful bike rides.
Friendly and helpful owners.
Small disadvantage is that there is no window in 1 bedroom and in the second a small one that you can't open.
Nice kitchen but no real stove available.
Oven and microwave provided.

The journey was quite straightforward. The key to the house had to be picked up in the hotel of the neighboring village. Nice welcome by the farmer with fresh eggs from his own yard.

Very comfortable and attractively furnished apartment. Warm welcome with fresh eggs from our own chickens. Nice showers and good TV and wifi. Wonderfully quiet location with a view of meadow with cows that also came cozy "neighborhoods". Also good opportunity to sit outside and eat (parasol available). Good cycling and directly from the cottage both walking and cycling opportunities. Supermarket on cycling distance to 21.00 uur.Enkele comments - no possibility to open window in bedrooms (with some cooler weather not so bad) - screens did not work so well (with some cooler weather not so bad) - no saucepan (ha ha , just fine to beat milk at the holiday coffee)

beautiful location with unobstructed views over the meadow and the woods beyond. Beautiful and clean decoration. Modern. Too bad that there was no window in one bedroom and the window could not open in the second. Fine showers. Beautiful surroundings with lots of fens and heather interspersed with forests. From the location you can walk to the Terhorsterzand via a path along the meadow. Very nice area. A wonderful holiday address.

Very well-kept and cozy holiday home with well-equipped kitchen. Friendly owner too. The holiday home is very well situated with the most beautiful places of Drenthe easily accessible. Also for shops you do not have to drive too far. It was a blissful holiday with many beautiful walks, a delicious night's rest and a good evening meal at an archery. Oh yes, this privacy was only disturbed by a few curious cows -) This cottage is definitely recommended!

We had a wonderful relaxing week here. The cottage is tidy, cozy and provided with most amenities we have not been short of anything. The location is near the Dwingelderveld and even closer to the Terhorsterzand, where it is beautiful walking. The owner Fred is friendly and helpful. In short, a great place for anyone who wants to unwind a couple of days.

The accomodation was fine. However, the fence around the terrace was a hiccup with our young dog. With fenced I do not put a door on schrikdraad😡😡😡Konden without the dog leash, really dangerous.

We as a starting point chosen for the four-day bicycle Drenthe Westerbork, this was perfectly organized and has some well made our holiday.

Cottage was clean and nicely decorated. The first evening while cooking we thought to turn pleasant music, no radio and television did not. No scissors present and no bread knife. This was, however, brought the same evening but TV did after installing only 4 channels. In the shower no plug for hair straightener and a half days spent in terrible sewer air. Beds were very soft, back pain as a result. Fortunately booked any night ...

Our stay began with a warm welcome by the owner of the house. Once inside, we noticed that the property was cleaned very well. The owner has thought of everything (beds, bath linen, dishwasher tablets etc.) This residence is located 500 meters from the NP Dwingelerveld and the location is a must for peace seekers and nature lovers. As a tenant, you're getting 10% discount in restaurant OP2 in the nearby village Spier.

We were warmly received. There were 10 guinea fowl eggs ready for us. Wonderful walks made over the flowering heather moor, including Westerbork viewed also cut museum (recommended), and sheep purchased in Balloo. By cooler weather were mainly inside when the wind changed, so we had little trouble from the main road.

We had a top week in Drenthe! Too bad it was only a week. The cottage was very complete, the view was top. It was nice that we ride at our disposal, very fine. It was a place to definitely return someday. We really enjoyed all gastvrijheid.Fam King, Almere.

Although we had a few days of rain the five that we were here, there were to find enough activities to entertain us. We have these visits the prison museum in Veenhuizen, but there is plenty to do in Drenthe Drenthe museum, Dolmen Museum, Camp Westerbork, Boomkroonpad to name but a few. But the cities and villages are definitely worth it. You can also go cycling and walking tours. For every wils.Vanuit the cottage can be contracted as the Terhorster Sand. Highly recommended for a walk in a beautiful piece natuur.We have had some wonderful days.

The cottage is very small, especially for four people, we were two and could use the second room for our clothes and convenience, there is hardly any storage space, especially if you, as we stay a week on the spot.The shower is very good, but a small sink, where you can not dispose of toilet stuff, also the mirror (is not in the shower but in the bedroom) there is hardly any light. For those who want to cook themselves little furniture. The coffee maker did not do well, but after question to the owner directly got another. The first impression was that the house was clean, but with better viewing it could certainly be better, for the price that is asked for it !! the access to the house is in pebble, making it more difficult for people who are poorly legged window are in need of replacement, this is certainly necessary because many fly through the cows close to the huisje.een fende tuin I would really not call this , fence wire as closing and on the one being the entrance is not a closure very quiet for those who love silence
