The various types of bungalows are spread out over the water rich It Wiid country estate. You have the choice of a 4 person (NL-9264-02, type semi-detached), a 5-pers. (NL-9264-04), two 6-pers. variants (NL-9264-05 and NL-9264-06) and an 8-pers. variant (NL-9264-07). You can also book a 4 and 8 person wellness type, NL-9264-03 and NL-9264-08. These types have a dishwasher, sunbed and sauna. Nearly all bungalows have a lovely location on the water, and their own dock and are accessible by boat (max width 2 m and max depth 0.90 m). All bungalows have a garden with terrace and garden furniture.

Discover the Friesian lakes! The spacious park Buitenplaats It Wiid is located in the Friesian lake district bordering on nature areas De Alde Feanen and Princenhof. The cosy Friesian capital Leeuwarden is located at approx. 15 km and is recommended for a relaxing day out. The bungalows are detached in waterside locations and invite to beautiful trips on the water in your (rented in the park) boat. Are you a keen angler? The detached waterside bungalows and boat mooring facility will be right up your street. Of course you can rent canoes, motorboats, sailing boats or even deluxe Maril dinghies at Buitenplaats It Wiid. Take a picnic hamper and you have a guaranteed holiday daytrip on the water! For nature, privacy and a water-themed holiday you are in the right place at Buitenplaats It Wiid.
Buitenplaats It Wiid is a water rich park, suitable for the whole family. It is located near cosy cities such as Drachten and Leeuwarden and there are many water sports facilities. Also facilities for young and old such as a tennis court.
If your pet has not been registered, access to the park and the booked accommodation can be refused on arrival. Get in touch with our customer contact centre for this.
Reservations made by companies for their own employees are always by request. If the reservation is approved, the following rules will apply: max. 1 employee per bedroom, an extra cleaning cost will be billed every two weeks, and every two weeks there will be a charge for new bed linen.
Sailing lessons are given in summer.
The Restaurant will be closed.
It is possible that when booking NL-9264-07 you will receive an accommodation with four bedrooms upstairs. These each have two separate beds.

It is very quiet. House very dated with various defects such as the bedroom window not being able to close, missing handles on kitchen drawers, malfunctioning or broken lamps, etc.

Our rented holiday home is very spacious, well equipped with sufficient furniture and kitchen accessories. The decor is simple but well done. Small point of attention is the cleaning. We do not have many requirements, but we have cleaned the sanitary facilities ourselves and vacuumed and mopped the living room. That can be better!
Also a small downside that there are no mosquito nets in the bedrooms, because there were a lot of mosquitoes. The cottage is (without air conditioning) after a day of sun very warm inside and sleeping with the windows closed is much too warm. A simple insect screen would certainly promote a good night's sleep!
There is also a beautiful garden, parasol and garden chairs/tables, with a jetty.
There is also a gas BBQ but we brought our own BBQ.
There are games and reading books available and a TV and radio. Wifi worked fine, fine with 3 teenagers !!
The area is beautiful and easily accessible. Only the camping shop is a short walk away. A bicycle would have been useful to bring along.

Despite the holiday time, the bungalow was ready on arrival at 1430 and we were able to get in like that! The bungalows are beautifully situated on the water, with lots of privacy. The decor is different a beautiful very complete kitchen, good bedrooms and beds. Simple decor living room, with bad couches and chairs. The bathrooms are fine! There is a lot to do in the area, especially in good weather. Renting a boat at Hollema across the street from It Wiid is a must! Too bad the reception is so limited!

The accommodation was good. No luxury, but the necessary things were present.We enjoyed the Frisian waters. Especially in this park every bungalow borders the water and you have your own jetty. We rented a boat (Rent Holleman on the other side, very friendly) and explored the area through the water.

We found it a pleasant home, with 8 people but not very generous with reasonably good again doen.Het is an excellent base for walking and cycling. Regarding sailing, the boat for the house, with little wind is a bit difficult sometimes, but a fun environment. Is the weather for a town, it is close to Leeuwarden and fun.

We were received in a friendly manner. I found the accommodation beautiful. But there were a few points. The radio did not work We were given washing blocks for the dishwasher but there was no dishwasher at all. And maybe a bit fussy of us but the bottom of the lamp in the kitchen was very dirty. And the cleaner if you used it smelled enormous. Was a really dirty smell. But it was a beautiful park. We had a wonderful holiday.

The accommodation was good. No luxury, but the necessary things were present.We enjoyed the Frisian waters. Especially in this park every bungalow borders the water and you have your own jetty. We rented a boat (Rent Holleman on the other side, very friendly) and explored the area through the water.

We found it a pleasant home, with 8 people but not very generous with reasonably good again doen.Het is an excellent base for walking and cycling. Regarding sailing, the boat for the house, with little wind is a bit difficult sometimes, but a fun environment. Is the weather for a town, it is close to Leeuwarden and fun.

Water sports and weather are the ingredients for our family for a week full of activity and fun. And the weather was! We had two surfboards that, but the park also hired several days a sailboat, motorboat and canoe 's. Great that walking was organizing. Even buying groceries at the park is well organized. Every day fresh bread and everything you need, without the car deal. Ideal. But especially from the "own" garden so the water can be better? As for me again next year.

we experienced in family some quiet days in a great environment. No details could be obtained in German. we still had a lot of fun. families would be well advised to pack hiking boots, as there is plenty Walk and discover. the overall impression of the system is great, but unfortunately leaves the friendly impression on use of the German language after. we laughed a lot and can only recommend a holiday in die'ser territory.

The accommodation was fine. Nice location of the bungalow and plenty of stuff for 8 people. In terms of arrival it is a bit confusing that the campsite and the park are so separate and the entrance is not clear enough. We therefore arrived by mistake at the entrance of the campsite. But it came quickly well. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The environment is absolutely beautiful!

Despite the holiday time, the bungalow was ready on arrival at 1430 and we were able to get in like that! The bungalows are beautifully situated on the water, with lots of privacy. The decor is different a beautiful very complete kitchen, good bedrooms and beds. Simple decor living room, with bad couches and chairs. The bathrooms are fine! There is a lot to do in the area, especially in good weather. Renting a boat at Hollema across the street from It Wiid is a must! Too bad the reception is so limited!

We were received in a friendly manner. I found the accommodation beautiful. But there were a few points. The radio did not work We were given washing blocks for the dishwasher but there was no dishwasher at all. And maybe a bit fussy of us but the bottom of the lamp in the kitchen was very dirty. And the cleaner if you used it smelled enormous. Was a really dirty smell. But it was a beautiful park. We had a wonderful holiday.
