Duinchalet is a comfortable and attractive holiday chalet near Hollum on Ameland. The kitchen is luxuriously equipped and the bedrooms have box springs beds. The bathroom has a shower, a sink and a toilet. Outside on the terrace you can enjoy the lovely sunshine.

Boomhiemke holiday park is a midsize holiday park with various facilities. It is located in one of the most beautiful spots on Ameland at the foot of the Hollumer dunes and adjacent to the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve. Here you are free to enjoy a pristine natural setting that offers ultimate rest and relaxation. The good location close to the beach makes Boomhiemke a popular holiday destination.
The park has more than enough to experience for visitors of all ages. There is a bowling alley, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, various playgrounds and a wellness centre. A recreation team is available during school holidays. They organise activities that you can take part in free of charge. And there is also plenty to see and do beyond the park itself. You can explore the Jan Roepesheide nature preserve and of course the beach. Nearby villages, such as Hollum with its charming little shops, restaurants and cafes, are well worth a visit, as are the museums.
Ameland is a relatively small island, so it's ideal for exploring by bicycle. You can simply hire bikes at the park, or bring your own bikes along. Ameland holiday park: a great holiday destination for the whole family, where you can really unwind and experience ultimate relaxation!
Boomhiemke holiday park on Ameland is a charming midsize holiday park with a variety of facilities for all ages. There is a swimming pool, a wellness centre and various playgrounds. The location by a nature preserve and natural beach with the sea just a stone's throw away makes Boomhiemke a great holiday destination for all ages

Should you decide to take the car with you to Ameland, please note that you must reserve a place for your car on the ferry well in advance. Because of Corona, pedestrians must also book in advance from 16 June to join the ferry. Book the ferry on 0900 9238. Information about the departure times can be found at www.wpd.nl
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that in the period 01-11-2021 to April 1, 2022 and October 31, 2022 to January 9, 2023, the Koos Kids Club will be closed and there will be no recreation program.

There is little privacy between the houses so you look at each other in. We thought we had rented a house with a roof, but that was not the case, this was a pity due to the lack of privacy. smoking outside. Cleaning, especially of the kitchen, should be better.Huisje was otherwise good

It is a wonderfully well-maintained park! The cottage is super modern and cozy. Everything is in this time. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has a good hard jet and is nice and warm. The bed is wonderful! The staff at the park is super friendly! You can rent a bicycle at the park. That is perfect. You can cycle around Ameland in 1 day if you wish. It is a beautiful island with beautiful nature. Nice old village faces and there is something for everyone. For now I'm going to enjoy a few more days! The only drawback is if you only rent a house that the mandatory cleaning costs are very high.

On arrival we had a completely different chalet than in the photo, there was no parking space at the cottage because it is surrounded by other chalets. The description states that the interior may be different, but the exterior is not mentioned, I finds this also misleading regarding the location of the cottage. the crockery was a bunch of junk and there were only two wine glasses. When you opened the cupboard you almost pulled the entire cupboard off the wall, so heavily it opened. the beds were much too hard and too hot. The advantage is that the two bedrooms are built on either side of the chalet, each with its own bathroom. ratio price accommodation, I think is too expensive.

The reception was very pleasant, nice people, quiet location.Unfortunately, the parking space is an unusable mud pool and the beds are much too soft and a drama for people with back problems, or they get that. They are worn hanging bags and that is absolutely no longer of this time. Slept badly all week. Unacceptable.

Chalet was fine. Stairs I found unsafe, especially for older people. Location is good. Roompot does not offer many extra 's, but we had this chalet also not booked. What a pity was that on Sunday in the pool a fun activity would be organized, but the workers did nothing. It was on a poster at the pool. we had tuned our daily program, so that was vervelend.Verder we had a wonderful vacation on a lovely island.

The cottage was not the house as it is on the site, gloomy, not very clean. Upper cabinets not accessible without a step (not present). TV was not in order, constantly pulling out the plug, turned out to be the "solution", according to the technical service. The heating exploded every time when it started, according to the mechanic, it was not properly adjusted. All in all, it was quite disappointing.
