Holiday park Friese Meren Villa's has an unrivalled appearance with its luxurious villas with thatched roof and location directly by the Tjeukemeer. The quiet and spacious park is an excellent location for a wonderful stay. Because each villa is located by the water and features a private jetty, there villas are the perfect base for endless sailing fun. Thanks to the connected waters, you can sail from your villa to National Park de Weerribben, the IJsselmeer, the Wadden islands and pretty much everything in between.
Delfstrahuizen, where the water villas are located, is a small Frisian village; here you'll find a supermarket, a few bars, outdoor cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The vibrant harbour of Lemmer (approx. 11 km) is very popular with water sports enthusiasts. During the summer, the historical building and terraces at the quayside create a beautiful decor. Heerenveen (approx. 14km.) and even Leeuwarden (approx. 44km.) -European Capital of Culture in 2018- can be reached easily.
Friesland can be best experienced with the luxury of "Friese Meren Villa's" as starting point.

A very well-equipped villa in the best location. We were thrilled! The "welcome package" also pleasantly surprised us. Likewise, the possibility of charging electric vehicles in the parking lot in front of the house. Furthermore, it was very quiet for finding relaxation. Thank you very much!

In the summer that will probably be different with all that water and boats at the jetties, but we stayed there at the beginning of March. The village is within walking distance, so easy for groceries and eating out. The house itself was very luxurious and fully equipped.
