We had a great experience in Zorgvlied! The owners were very hospitable and the house had a charming rustic atmosphere. We especially liked the outdoor space. It is an excellent base to explore the Drents-Friese Wold and enjoy local attractions. I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.

The holiday home met our needs, It is well located, close to various hiking trails and a short drive from Giethoorn, which was a nice day trip, The decor was simple but functional, and everything was clean upon our arrival, We didn't spend much time inside, as we were exploring outside, If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is a good choice,

It is an older house with an old interior that has just enough furnishings for 4 people. The shower smelled terrible because the odor trap was not working. I put a plastic cup on it so it wouldn't smell anymore. The chairs and sofa were actually not suitable for older people.

Plenty of space around the house, a large lawn, and a covered terrace where you can sit comfortably in bad weather. Small park where it is very quiet. TV works via Digitenne, but it regularly had issues with reception. There is a parasol in the shed, but we couldn't find a parasol base anywhere. Plenty of space in the shed for our 2 bicycles. There is also a fridge-freezer. Pleasant contact with the landlord. Beautiful environment for walking and cycling.

Super nice owners. There was a bottle of rosé and nuts as a welcome on the table. Everything was spotless. Made-up bed. Towels and dish towels are available. The house is in a beautiful location, wonderfully free in a private little forest; when you walk out of the forest, you can enjoy a nice view of fields and forests. In the morning, you wake up to the birds that are busy all day. A bit dated, but everything is there, even a dishwasher. A lovely bed and a nice shower. In the barn with a roof, we could place and charge our e-bikes. In short... an ideal place!

We have been able to enjoy the soothing tranquility in and around the house at stormbos 13 in Zorgvlied for a week. The silence in the natural environment was pleasantly disturbed from early to late by the singing of all kinds of birds. The decor is simple but complete and we had a great night's sleep. In Eindhoven we have hardly any problems with insects, perhaps it is useful to report a lubricant against mosquito nuisance to bring, otherwise everything went as stated in the description, just call on arrival for the key.

What a disappointment! In itself the house seemed fine. What was not in order was the enormous noise nuisance as a result of a major renovation of the house right next to us. On arrival there was a letter from the landlady stating, among other things, that we were wished “despite everything” a nice week. At first we did not understand that, but soon we found out that the adjacent house was being renovated. The owner of that house said the construction workers would be at work from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm during the week. We then immediately called the landlord of our house to express our dissatisfaction about this. And above all that they failed to inform us about this renovation in advance. She was of the opinion that the noise pollution would be okay. We then said again that we would have thought it proper if she had reported the renovation. Whereupon the landlady announced that if she had reported that, we probably would not have booked the house. Then I can no longer rent the house, she said. Apparently she did not understand that that was not our problem, but that we should have liked to have been able to make that assessment ourselves. Unfortunately, the landlady showed no understanding for this. The renovation continued on Monday. The construction workers informed us that from Tuesday there would really be a lot more noise. And that turned out to be true. At that time, roof panels were sawn and mounted, which caused a lot of noise. The construction workers would also be busy with this job for the following days. We then decided to leave, as we had not rented a "nature house" to sit in the noise. We have sent the landlord a message to again express our dissatisfaction. However, she remained on the point that she had made the right decision by not informing us about the renovation in advance. And so to rent out the house. We have filed a complaint. Natu

A very friendly reception, the owner offered to drive us to the cottage but this was not necessary given the clear description (and the navigation). A nice welcome pack awaited us in the cottage. A lovely, cozy house on a beautiful piece of land. The house was also nice to clean the beds made with nicely ironed bedding made it all off! There were also a lot of freshly washed towels. We have been able to enjoy the soothing tranquility in and around the house at stormbos 13 in Zorgvlied for a week. The silence in the natural environment was pleasantly disturbed from early to late by the singing of all kinds of birds. The decor is simple but complete and we had a great night's sleep. In Eindhoven we have hardly any problems with insects, perhaps it is useful to report a lubricant against mosquito nuisance to bring, otherwise everything went as stated in the description, just call on arrival for the key.

We had a very nice relaxing holiday. The cottage is beautifully situated in the forest. You're close to some beautiful natural areas where you can fine cycling and walking. We picked up the key from the owners. The owners are friendly people. There was a bottle of wine in the cottage next to some chocolates. The room is nicely decorated. The bathroom is on the tight side but full. Linen is widely available. The cottage is clean. The path to it is not easy in rainy weather and darkness. For peace seekers, it is an ideal vacation spot.

A very friendly reception, the owner offered to drive us to the cottage but this was not necessary given the clear description (and the navigation). A nice welcome pack awaited us in the cottage. A lovely, cozy house on a beautiful piece of land. The house was also nice to clean the beds made with nicely ironed bedding made it all off! There were also a lot of freshly washed towels. Compliments! There is plenty to do in the beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed this vacation spot. Wonderfully quiet in the middle of nature. At the edge of forest and meadow. Nice house in a beautiful setting. House was clean, great beds, nice kitchen, you can sit outside. We had nice weather so we walked a lot with the dog that can walk free in many places. A must if you like nature and silence. It was a quiet place and had a wonderful time. The cottage is clean, equipped with everything and is in a nice area. The weather was nice so we could join together Me tde dog walks directly from the cottage as the Drents-Friese Wold (nature) in. It's a fantastic environment to make nice walks. Note the dog must be leashed in most places.

The cottage is located behind a small "Boswijk" with such "n 15 cottages (on a forest road). Good parking. Located wonderfully quiet. You only hear the birds. Wonderful terrace, detached. The cottage is tastefully decorated. Keep in mind note that no wardrobes are provided. also, there is no shower curtain. Fine cuisine and start the walking trails on the doorstep. Tip restaurant Villa Nova in Zorgvlied. Excellent food! all in all a lovely cottage for a memorable vacation!

What a disappointment! In itself the house seemed fine. What was not in order was the enormous noise nuisance as a result of a major renovation of the house right next to us. On arrival there was a letter from the landlady stating, among other things, that we were wished “despite everything” a nice week. At first we did not understand that, but soon we found out that the adjacent house was being renovated. The owner of that house said the construction workers would be at work from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm during the week. We then immediately called the landlord of our house to express our dissatisfaction about this. And above all that they failed to inform us about this renovation in advance. She was of the opinion that the noise pollution would be okay. We then said again that we would have thought it proper if she had reported the renovation. Whereupon the landlady announced that if she had reported that, we probably would not have booked the house. Then I can no longer rent the house, she said. Apparently she did not understand that that was not our problem, but that we should have liked to have been able to make that assessment ourselves. Unfortunately, the landlady showed no understanding for this. The renovation continued on Monday. The construction workers informed us that from Tuesday there would really be a lot more noise. And that turned out to be true. At that time, roof panels were sawn and mounted, which caused a lot of noise. The construction workers would also be busy with this job for the following days. We then decided to leave, as we had not rented a "nature house" to sit in the noise. We have sent the landlord a message to again express our dissatisfaction. However, she remained on the point that she had made the right decision by not informing us about the renovation in advance. And so to rent out the house. We have filed a complaint. Natu

It was a lovely week at The Forest Cottage. We had everything we needed, and Marian was just an app away with questions. Very very pleasant! The cottage was clean and the location was beautiful. The only thing that we had overlooked was that there was no internet / wifi in the house. So that was a bit of a struggle for us millennials, but it certainly didn't spoil the fun! Definitely recommended, especially if you have dogs.
