Bospark De Schaapskooi is a very child-friendly, family holiday park with numerous facilities for young and old. It is surrounded by woods and heath land in the heart of the Veluwe in the Province of Gelderland. The Veluwe is the ideal area to forget the daily hustle and bustle of life. You can enjoy perfect tranquillity here. The holiday park has an indoor swimming pool with a separate toddlers pool, an attractive restaurant and a small shop. The area includes the famous De Hoge Veluwe National Park. Its unique natural habitat makes it perfect for long walks and bicycle trips. There are many attractions nearby. You can enjoy a very good day out within 40 kilometres. You can visit Wissel and Apenheul Zoos, the Harderwijk Dolfinarium and Koningin Juliana Toren and Walibi World Adventure Parks. For lovers of culture and history there is the wonderful Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn. The holiday park offers a number of comfortable, detached chalets and bungalows which are spread around the wood. There are also special child-friendly chalets available on the holiday park.

Reservations will not be accepted for groups or parties of people under the age of 22.
Groups, if not travelling as a family, will be charged 50 p.p. deposit.
It’s not allowed for companies to make bookings for employees who will stay with other reason than recreation.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Koos Kids Club and the recreation program are only available in July and August. In the other periods, the Koos Kids Club is closed and there is no recreation program.
Due to maintenance work, the swimming pool at Schaapskooi will be closed from Monday 8 November to Friday 12 November
In the period of January 10-14, trees are cut down at Bospark de Schaapskooi. Guests may experience some inconvenience between 09:00 -17:00 hours.

The cottage (for 6 persons) was small. The kitchen utensils were basic. It was not very clean when we arrived. The area is well worth it and the staff is very friendly. Recommended!

The cottage that we got does not have too much outdoor space and only moderate privacy. We are there with 2. It's fine for that, but it's on the tight side for more people, even though there are 6 beds; the interior space seems cramped for that.
It feels to us as if we are on a campsite, but with a house instead of a tent, but in terms of space around us. Of course nothing wrong with that, but not what we expected. The photo on the site also gave another idea. In any case, not as we previously experienced at Belvilla. However, in accordance with a previous experience at a Roompot park. On the grounds of the sheepfold we have seen one chalet, where the privacy around the chalet and the space around it corresponds to that of the photo.

I was well helped by telephone with bookings. Really but when we arrived unfortunately rain there know no one doing
The cottage was OK but for my adult children there was not much to do And the swimming pool was also not okay. No surveillance. The cottage was clean in itself, but there was quite a lot of dust in all corners. And cobwebs hung on the lamp. I hope we get something from our booking costs

The park itself is easily accessible and there is plenty to do at the main building.
Good restaurant and friendly.
Unfortunately, the swimming pool cannot be compared to other parks we have been to, but you can swim there.
There is also plenty of tourist activity in the area.
Also recommended for cyclists.

The cottage itself was fine, but quite dated and cold in atmosphere. Broken vacuum cleaner and a musty atmosphere in the cottage. The disadvantage is that you (really not to unpack your groceries) can have the bad luck on the other side of the park must park. And if you are less mobile, it is very far for the elderly to walk. We were surprised by the surroundings, all those green trees and especially the quiet environment. Everything was fine. It was very difficult to book 1 week in Germany to 1 weekend in the Netherlands. More and more than 45 minutes on hold before you got someone on the line. Excellent assistance at the reception. Accommodation was not too dated, the beds were repaired with boards, mattresses, slack locks, window could not be locked properly, but the complaints were taken seriously and resolved as best as possible. Park was wonderfully quiet, however, the houses are close together so you do not miss the neighbors.

quick and friendly arrival. booked so that we could enter the park at noon. At 3 pm it was considerably busier at the reception.Accommodation is a bit dated. Cleaning was not really done well either. Dust flakes came from under the sofas and beds. There was also mess under the beds. It was greasy behind the stove. Beds were clean and we were able to sleep well. The request for a second umbrella (it was 30 degrees) was quickly brought. Quiet car-free park which is neatly maintained. We did see some rats walking.

We found a simple but clean chalet. The beds were of good quality. The chalet met our expectations. It is a shame that the pool was closed for a few days due to technical reasons, but that was well resolved by the staff. We found the staff to be very friendly. The cottage was somewhat dated. The floor in the bedrooms was restored with a different color and not everywhere. The windows were dirty. It is a car-free park, the gate is only open at fixed times. That means you have to lug a lot with your stuff if you want to leave on another day.

The price performance ratio was ok. What we missed was a parking lot in front of the door! Otherwise recommended!

In the cottage were no dogs allowed, but upon receipt of smoke throughout the house huge wet dog. The banks and the rug under the coffee table were full of stains. Many places in the cottage was quite a few cobwebs and dust (between the curtains along baseboards). This was not of 1 to 2 days. All glasses in the kitchen were greasy. The shower drain was not cleaned.

House looked on the outside nice. Inside you'll find that our cottage was runned reasonable. They date from 2003 and are awaken to an interior renewal. Furniture had the best time. We regularly walked a lap around the park and it is striking that some homes from the inside newer eyes. Cleaning can do yourself, but geveurt not always good in our opinion. Basic things like vacuuming and mopping, and utensils were quite proper.Al had in all a wonderful holiday. But do not expect too much from the cottage.

The arrival was good. Aware of three bedrooms that we had a separate room for a camp bed, but there was no room for this or an adult had to sleep in a stuffy bunk bed. Plates and cutlery were all different. Only the pool, but otherwise there was not much for small children. The environment was good. Because we had good weather, it was still a nice vacation. It was only for sleeping and breakfast.
