We had a fantastic time at this charming rural spot in Balkbrug! The sauna and the hot tub were the perfect way to relax after a day exploring the beautiful forests nearby. The decor was spacious and cozy, making it very welcoming for our group of eight. We enjoyed the evenings by the fireplace, and there was plenty of space for the children to play in the garden. It was also nice to have a few dining options within a short drive. I definitely recommend this place for a family vacation!

Wonderful week away. Nice little house with all the comforts provided. Wellness was lovely (didn't use the sauna, but did use the hot tub). Beds were good. With our group, the bedrooms were fine... but maybe a consideration to revise the description of the bedrooms. In the current description (and photos), we didn't expect that you had to go through one bedroom to get to the other. All in all, a lovely week. Oh yes, the owner was also very friendly and helpful via phone and app.

We had an amazing week full of luxury plus a little more! The landlord is super nice and considerate. Very pleasant! There are 8 full-sized beds and a children's crib. There is a large fridge-freezer next to the table model fridge in the kitchen. Super nice to keep everything cool and to store ice creams. A beautiful garden where our kids could play wonderfully. The house is wonderfully free in the surroundings. There are incredibly many beautiful butterflies in the garden, and the flies and mosquitoes also know how to find their way. I would definitely take a fly swatter with me. In short, highly recommended to stay here!

Cosy furnished house with lots of wood (we like that), beautifully situated in the countryside. Enough space for 5/6 adults. Nice wellness area with sauna and 2 showers. Outside a jacuzzi.
Upstairs 3 bedrooms, unfortunately no toilet upstairs.
Equipped with a dishwasher and a washing machine. No dryer, but a drying rack. And it dries reasonably quickly in the wellness area.
Only downside: the oven doesn't work very well. And there is no user manual.

The reception was very friendly. The house was spacious enough for our family of 4. A second toilet would not be a luxury (upstairs for example). It is a beautiful, characteristic house, where the noise is part of it. The house was neat, clean and complete. The area is quiet and you can enjoy hiking. A trampoline would have finished it for our kids, but even without it everyone had a great time for a week. Slagharen at a short distance is nice to visit, A walk on the Ipadweg Experience Path Te Veeningen was also fun to do.

For the second year in a row we have booked the Hytte for a weekend with 8 friends. The outdoor hot tub is an absolute addition to the weekend. With eight girls nice weekend to Ommen. The house was very nice and very clean. There was really only one drawback and that was the toilet ... there was only one and that is for a group of eight people or less. For the rest had a nice weekend.

A weekend at this cottage was with eight friends. Was totally awesome. Relax in and around the cottage itself, crackling fire and a relaxing sauna and hot tub. Close to several villages / cities for a nice shopping. It was great!

It was a very friendly hostess. We have something to ask a few times and were therefore kindly helped. The cottage gave us yet the privacy and tranquility we needed this weekend. The cottage was neat to and was spacious enough for 7 people.

With eight men stayed a weekend, nice location, perfect accommodation! Prima equipped kitchen, bar and one of the selling points of the house a dry sauna and a hot tub outside! Prima beds, exactly 8 spread over three rooms. It was a good place!

The house owners live next door, are friendly and actually interfere only with the guests.The house is very well equipped, jacuzzi and sauna are very nice. Unfortunately we had a lot of problems with flies, but that can not be prevented by the owners. We sat there with z 'n fours and that was good. A big let-up is that two bedrooms are linked together. So you have to walk through each bedroom. It is unfortunate that there is only one toilet is available. I think the house is best suited for a group of friends / girlfriends or families with up to four children. for some couples, it is less suitable. We had two dogs with us. the garden is not fenced.

With 8 people in the house stayed for one week (during Christmas). Cottage was given the Christmas season, very attractively decorated. Placement of a Christmas tree was not necessary! Cottage is very complete and well met. Delicious sauna (space) and a fine outdoor whirlpool in the garden. Lots of privacy.

Truly a tophuisje! fully equipped, especially the sauna and outdoor jacuzzi. The house is super clean and we were greeted by the owner with coffee and cake! They are right for you if there is sometimes something might be. All in all a wonderful weekend! Repeating!

We enjoyed, cottage is neat, but noisy. Take your quilt with you, what is there is short and thin. If you want to burn, take some wood yourself. Environment is nice / quiet. Wellness facilities are wonderful. Owners are helpful and friendly.

You should go to get in your own bedroom with a bedroom is very annoying. The massage shower is closed for years, told the owner, because it took too much gas and water. Wifi did not, despite a reset of the modem / amplifier by the owner. 5 meters from the house are horses so inside and outside is full of the flies, eating outside is not really possible. The chairs in the photo at the pond are, you can not sit down because they missed a few boards and rotten. Half of the jets of the hot tub / jacuzzi do not. A microwave is not there, like a conventional oven. Had quiet short break with our children aged 3 and 4 years old. Daytime to Plopsa Indoor Coevorden and Slagharen and "evening himself enjoy the peace, the sauna and the Hot Tub. With the family we stayed for a weekend in this beautiful holiday home. Fine and enough room for 8 people. The house looked neat, clean and tidy. The lack of a large stock of kitchen utensils, games, sufficient kitchen and bath linen was missing! On arrival there was a fresh flower on the table, inside and outside. During the stay we were received and helped by the neighbor, because the owners were not there themselves. Neat for each other, a very helpful man! The jacuzzi and sauna, the beautiful and spacious garden were a real addition to our stay. Each of the family had the space to be able to do what he / she wanted. Highly recommended would definitely come back again.

Arrival went well and fast. We were with 6 friends and the owner was first worried but not taken care of during the holiday so that was definitely nice. The house is very nice and there is enough space. Things like the sauna and hottub were well maintained and great to have.

Every year, as fathers, we leave a weekend. This time in the beautiful stay until then. Upon arrival we found the owner, a hand could not get rid of it unfortunately. Because we were well educated, we still arranged nicely. The lady in question had counted on a group of women, no problem for us, apparently for the owner. We did not get a very warm welcome. The house is nice, for 8 people it is small in the living room. The whole is right next to the house of the owners. In itself no problem, but we could jointly difficult to lose the cars between the parked cars of the owners' visit. The weekend was fine, nice rooms and nice beds! That may also be said. The garden was reasonable, in relation to the owners small. All in all until then fine. Unfortunately, the owner found it necessary to unannounced the hired part of us to enter. Inadequate and amicable, he holds a glass of chemicals, which were intended for the jacuzzi, with one of our gentlemen with the remark open your mouth. We were all surprised and displeased that this could happen just like that. This unexpected and tasteless joke has led us to decide never to choose this holiday home again. The reception was very friendly. The house was spacious enough for our family of 4. A second toilet would not be a luxury (upstairs for example). It is a beautiful, characteristic house, where the noise is part of it. The house was neat, clean and complete. The area is quiet and you can enjoy hiking. A trampoline would have finished it for our kids, but even without it everyone had a great time for a week. Slagharen at a short distance is nice to visit, A walk on the Ipadweg Experience Path Te Veeningen was also fun to do.

Beautiful accommodation. Very private landscaped garden. Jacuzzi and Sauna and large walk-in shower complete it. Lovely house in winter, with wood stove, sauna and hot tub. Good beds and a kitchen where everything is present. The area offers the opportunity to purchase local products and there is even a wine farm around the corner, very nice. You can also enjoy a nice walk here.
