Super relaxed vacation. Sauna and whirlpool were on the agenda every day. We were not a very demanding group of men, which is why everything was quite relaxed. More demanding guests might complain that the dishwasher was not working. Here and there repairs are due: for example, the sauna is falling apart. Ventilation in the basement is not working. We found our stay reasonable. Large house and big bedrooms. Good bathroom and many towels. Nice that there were 2 toilets. Furthermore, there is a sauna downstairs, but we did not use it. There were also some broken lamps, a jacuzzi that only half worked and contained too much chlorine, and we could not get the sliding door open at all. Too little glassware and not everything for washing dishes, etc. was present. So we had a reasonable stay at the house Zijzicht.

Beautiful house, lovely hot tub in the garden, more of a hot tub because the bubbles don't work well. Infrared sauna in the basement works fine. Washing machine and dryer available. Unpaved path to the cottage. Since it had rained, this was a challenge for us. Very friendly people who came to help when we locked the door behind us with the key still on the inside. All in all, a lovely week where we were awakened by singing birds. Wonderful!

It is a lovely little house. It is now around freezing, but inside it is wonderfully warm. It is a very well-insulated house with underfloor heating and a gas fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, and the bedrooms are quite spacious. Upstairs there is also a toilet and two sinks. The jacuzzi and sauna are great. There is also a nice oven. There is even a Christmas tree set up for Christmas. We are having a great time.

Just back, the cottage itself has a beautiful layout. But if you want to sit in the sun, this is not your vacation home. No sun on the terrace. There is also a huge umbrella that cannot be folded. The garden table cannot be moved. One lounge chair has a broken backrest. The jacuzzi is lovely but doesn't work fully. The sauna is in the basement, and there is an awful damp smell there. It's not clean either. No broom to sweep it. Old yellow cloths for the kitchen. No pot holder. Chair is worn out. Bank vies. You pay 165 euros for cleaning costs. Well, you don't get that back. The worst part for me is that the mattresses are dirty, no protective cover, nothing. Fortunately, I only saw that when I took the bed off. Terrible. And this little house is an award winner. Then you think you're in good hands. It's a shame I have to report this. The positives: many birds in the garden. Squirrels and peace. Houses spaced out along a sandy road. Tall, large trees around the house. Wonderful shower. We only used the ground floor. No Netflix on TV. I read in another review that it was available. Asked the owner, but he said that everyone presses the buttons. And didn't take the trouble to check it.

Great little house and nice place. Nice jacuzzi and house owner Bart is a really nice guy. When picking up the key at restaurant Antje and Billie, we immediately decided to stay for dinner, and that turned out very well. Delicious food. The house is quietly located with a total of 4 houses. Plenty of space for peace. Everything is clean, tidy, and intact. When there was a problem with the sauna, Bart arranged for a technician to come an hour later. The only downside we found: a six-person cottage and a small sofa for 3 people and 2 chairs is a bit little to really relax with 6 in the evenings, but that's the only thing.

We (couple of around 50 years old) have been in Zijzicht house for 2 weeks. Key must be picked up at Eetcafé Antje and Billie, after which the owner goes to the house. Friendly welcome and clear explanation about the cottage. House is 1 year old (taken into use in May 2018) and looks very well cared for. Own WiFi. Bathroom with shower and a separate toilet on the ground floor. Bedroom (with television) on the ground floor. Good box spring bed with good pillows and a double comforter. On the first floor two more large bedrooms (with double box spring beds), both with television. Again good pillows and double duvets. There is no bathroom on the first floor, but there is a separate toilet and a double sink. In all bedrooms, downstairs toilet and the bathroom downstairs are screens on the windows. Drying rack (no clothes pegs), iron (no ironing board) available. Clean bed linen and plenty of clean towels, tea towels and dish cloths available. Kitchen inventory is complete. Small dishwasher (which can be difficult if you stay with more than 2 people in this house). Toaster, kettle, regular coffee maker and a Senseo machine available. Good oven and fridge with small freezer. Downstairs in a neat, tiled basement that is easily accessible, there is a fridge (without freezer), a dryer and a washing machine. Vacuum cleaner and broom present. There is also an infrared cabin (not used). Around the house a nice spacious terrace with a large, professional umbrella where you can easily sit under, even when it rains. On the terrace 6 nice chairs, a table and 2 sun beds. Good outdoor lighting. Cottage side view is under the trees. However, enough sun spots all day on the terrace so that you can sit in the sun. The cottage is accessible via a sandy path. Great to do with the car, but difficult with the bike. There is a campsite on both sides (there is a large lawn and trees in between). We

Cottage "Zijzicht" is a lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Bart, the owner, is a helpful, friendly man. The cottage is fully equipped. The sauna and the jacuzzi make this cottage stand out from similar cottages. There is one downside regarding the jacuzzi: there were a lot of jets that did not work. Nevertheless, we enjoyed sitting in it.

Friendly welcome. Owner drove to the house, fortunately, because a fairly bumpy unpaved road that we might not have driven that far otherwise. That road full of potholes was the only downside. House neat. Smooth / hard surfaces could be cleaner, everything was intact and not broken, but for example the kettle on top of the kitchen cupboard seemed not to be used for months and the doors and frames could also be cleaner. So after arrival I immediately worked with dettol wipes. Furthermore, a very nice and light house in a quiet area, well suited for cycling. Nice, good beds. On the pictures it is not entirely clear that there are three houses on the site. We had Zijzicht cottage. This cottage is the least free and the most under the trees. That was nice in the extremely warm week. The cottages are beautiful, clean and spacious. The beds are good and the screens in front of the windows pleasant. Although the seating area seems a bit cramped for 6 people, the terrace offers sufficient space. The sand road is quite difficult, especially when it is so dry. Bikes did not work and only run with shoes full of sand. We were there for a week in the high season and had a lot of inconvenience of the campsite two nights because loud music was played until late into the night. The group of young people on motocross bikes that drove back and forth at night disturbed the peace. Outside the high season we do not expect these problems. The owners were easily accessible and very helpful.

What a house !!! Excellent to stay with 6 adults. Lovely beds, above an extra toilet and double sink, which is a godsend for those who sleep upstairs. Downstairs beautiful bathroom and separate toilet. Everything including bed linen and bath towels. The gas stove makes it extra cozy. Easy to operate. The house is beautifully situated, you look into your own forest! Because of the bad weather we have little to explore the area, but there is plenty to see.The owner has received us warmly, a jovial man, who easily and quickly a problem dissolves.What concerns us certainly for repetition.

It was a beautiful weekend there. It is a lovely house. Very clean and well-maintained. We had a great time. There were small things like a forgotten dish towel or that the hot tub doesn't bubble properly. Otherwise, maybe lay out bedding for the smaller blankets as well. There is only 1 large blanket on the beds along with matching bedding.

Cottage "Zijzicht" is a lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Bart, the owner, is a helpful, friendly man. The cottage is fully equipped. The sauna and the jacuzzi make this cottage stand out from similar cottages. There is one downside regarding the jacuzzi: there were a lot of jets that did not work. Nevertheless, we enjoyed sitting in it.

Lighting at washbasins resembled nightlights in brightness, and the toilet door would have to open from the other side… Now you have to stand on the top step of the stairs to be able to close the door after going to the toilet. Friendly welcome. Owner drove to the house, fortunately, because a fairly bumpy unpaved road that we might not have driven that far otherwise. That road full of potholes was the only downside. House neat. Smooth / hard surfaces could be cleaner, everything was intact and not broken, but for example the kettle on top of the kitchen cupboard seemed not to be used for months and the doors and frames could also be cleaner. So after arrival I immediately worked with dettol wipes. Furthermore, a very nice and light house in a quiet area, well suited for cycling. Nice, good beds. Each bedroom has a TV with Netflix and youtube. Not watching normal TV, at least we couldn't manage it. Not bad, netflix was fine.

The sauna gets really hot for an infrared sauna, something you don't often have. In addition, it was very clean and the owner was very friendly. We (couple of around 50 years old) have been in Zijzicht house for 2 weeks. Key must be picked up at Eetcafé Antje and Billie, after which the owner goes to the house. Friendly welcome and clear explanation about the cottage. House is 1 year old (taken into use in May 2018) and looks very well cared for. Own WiFi. Bathroom with shower and a separate toilet on the ground floor. Bedroom (with television) on the ground floor. Good box spring bed with good pillows and a double comforter. On the first floor two more large bedrooms (with double box spring beds), both with television. Again good pillows and double duvets. There is no bathroom on the first floor, but there is a separate toilet and a double sink. In all bedrooms, downstairs toilet and the bathroom downstairs are screens on the windows. Drying rack (no clothes pegs), iron (no ironing board) available. Clean bed linen and plenty of clean towels, tea towels and dish cloths available. Kitchen inventory is complete. Small dishwasher (which can be difficult if you stay with more than 2 people in this house). Toaster, kettle, regular coffee maker and a Senseo machine available. Good oven and fridge with small freezer. Downstairs in a neat, tiled basement that is easily accessible, there is a fridge (without freezer), a dryer and a washing machine. Vacuum cleaner and broom present. There is also an infrared cabin (not used). Around the house a nice spacious terrace with a large, professional umbrella where you can easily sit under, even when it rains. On the terrace 6 nice chairs, a table and 2 sun beds. Good outdoor lighting. Cottage side view is under the trees. However, enough sun spots all day on the terrace so that you can sit in the sun. The cottage is accessible via a sandy path. Great to do with the car, but difficult with the bike. There is a campsite on both sides (there is a large lawn and trees in between). We

Great house with all mod cons. Complete linen package and bed linen. everything was abundantly present, such as soap, dish tablets, toilet paper etc. Quiet beautiful environment. We have been going to homes for many years. This is weekly at the top.

Very nice house in a beautiful environment, however, we were one of the first visitors and the sauna and washing machine were not installed yet (was also not reported before arrival). This was nicely compensated by the landlord with a dinner voucher in his restaurant.

What a house !!! Excellent to stay with 6 adults. Lovely beds, above an extra toilet and double sink, which is a godsend for those who sleep upstairs. Downstairs beautiful bathroom and separate toilet. Everything including bed linen and bath towels. The gas stove makes it extra cozy. Easy to operate. The house is beautifully situated, you look into your own forest! Because of the bad weather we have little to explore the area, but there is plenty to see.The owner has received us warmly, a jovial man, who easily and quickly a problem dissolves.What concerns us certainly for repetition.

Beautiful house. Because we were only with 2 people, there was plenty of room. Because of the many glass you are in constant contact with the beautiful surroundings. In short, a relaxing experience in nature without being very remote.

We were warmly welcomed with a cup of coffee! The owner brought us to the house, so we did not have to search. The house is very nice, comfortable and the location with a view too. Even in the winter it is wonderful to stay with the underfloor heating and the fireplace. We enjoyed the infrared sauna in the basement. In short, a wonderful time in the beautiful Twente where we will definitely return to.
