A warm welcome to the chalet “Roodborstje” (Robin).
Our cozy holiday chalet (approx. 50 m²) offers space for up to 4 people, with an additional sleeping option for a 5th person on the sofa bed. The chalet is fully equipped and ideal for a relaxing stay in a quiet, green setting. Guests enjoy plenty of privacy thanks to the private garden as well as a sunny terrace with garden furniture and a cozy lounge area. A grill is also available.
The accommodation is perfect for couples, families, or small groups who want to combine peace, comfort, and nature. The amenities include, among other things, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, and free Wi-Fi. Bicycles can be safely stored in the lockable shed, and an e-bike charging station is also available.
We, Huub & Chantal, live nearby and personally take care of preparing the chalet. This way, we ensure that everything is clean, well-maintained, and well-prepared. If you have any questions during your stay, we are always available.
We speak German, English, and Dutch and look forward to personally welcoming our guests.

The chalet is located in the beautiful region of Twente in the east of the Netherlands, just a few kilometers from the German border. The surroundings are characterized by peace, nature, forests, and typically Dutch landscapes with small paths and historic villages.
A special advantage is the proximity to the nature reserve Het Springendal, one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the region. Here you will find numerous hiking trails through forests, along streams, and through a varied, green landscape.
The charming town of Ootmarsum, known as an artists’ town with a historic center, is also quickly accessible and definitely worth a visit.
The Twente region is one of the most popular cycling regions in the Netherlands. Well-developed cycle paths lead directly through nature and connect small villages, natural areas, and sights. Further excursion options in the surrounding area include:
- Bad Bentheim with its historic castle
- Nordhorn as a lively border town
- numerous nature and cycling routes starting directly from the accommodation
Whether hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing – the location offers ideal conditions for a restful break in nature.

Welcome! We are Huub and Chantal and rent out our holiday chalet Roodborstje (Robin) in the beautiful region of Twente in the east of the Netherlands. Since we live nearby with our two children, we personally take care of preparing the chalet and are happy to assist our guests with any questions. We want our guests to feel comfortable and enjoy a relaxing time in our well-kept holiday chalet.
