We were warmly welcomed on December 30 by the employees of De Tolplas. The chalet was fine. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The location of the chalet was also very nice, right on the water so that we could enjoy the ducks, coots and swans every morning. And it was very quiet in the evening and night, a relief if you live in the center of a large busy city. We made beautiful walks at Hellendoorn, Nijverdal, the Lemelerberg, and along the Regge. And also in the nature park Sallandse Heuvelrug. An extra plus is the restaurant De Tolplas. We were also warmly welcomed there, and we had a delicious meal. This holiday home is highly recommended!

Nice park and beautiful surroundings! Our house was just really not clean and smelled like a dog. Also many small defects such as missing skirting boards, poorly closing cupboard doors, etc.

Great house, equipped with air conditioning, washing machine and dishwasher. Right on the water, so the children jump off the jetty every morning. Nice staff at the reception. Quiet park, great for walking and cycling in the area.

Environment was beautiful. Reception at reception also okay. Accommodation was big enough. Excellent beds, but house needs some maintenance in the field of plumbing. Hot and cold water faucet kitchen unit wrong. Leakage of the shower, apparently for some time, causing odor. It was also perceived by us as annoying that work was carried out around our house, which were quite noisy. The scraping of weeds between tiles etc. After our stay the rented accommodation was delivered cleaner than as we found it. When complaining at the reception our complaint about not being clean was confirmed.

We arrived at the resort shortly before 6pm. The resort as well as the surroundings was also very good. The house was very clean, the apartment also had a washing machine. If we had a dishwasher, that would be a relief for us. The staff were all very nice and friendly.

To visit Enschede, Almelo, Deventer and Zwolle this is a great location to stay. Within 15 minutes you are at the railway station Wierden where you can park for free. From there you can all directions by train. Moreover, you can enjoy excellent on the recreation of a delicious buffet for an affordable price. And for lovers of sport fishing this park provides a very nice fish pond.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Tolplas park! The chalet was super comfortable, and I liked that it had a microwave and a combi-oven - that made cooking easy. The region is so peaceful, surrounded by nature, which was perfect for relaxing. The WiFi was also strong, so we could keep up with our shows in the evening. We even found a few charming restaurants nearby, like De Tolplas-de Bourgondiër around the corner. All in all, a lovely little getaway!
