The houses:
The rural and sustainable wooden holiday homes Tine, Dirk, and Albert are located in a fantastic spot with a wide view over the open Salland landscape, giving you all the space to enjoy it. Each holiday home is situated on a spacious green plot of no less than 600 m² and equipped with an authentic veranda and ample parking space for 2 to 3 cars. During the day, you can, among other things, experience the unique sound of the countless early songbirds and the beautiful sunset. The houses with upper floors are fully equipped and extremely comfortable. Due to the very high insulation value, they are cool in summer and cozy in winter. The houses Dirk and Albert have three bedrooms with double beds that can also be separated into 6 single beds. House Tine has 2 larger bedrooms with electric double beds, has the best location, and is highly recommended for up to 4 people. The houses are otherwise furnished the same and are all equally large. The location:
The holiday homes are located in the "green" park De Posthoeve, south of the charming (brink) village of Den Ham. The park is very small-scale, situated in the Salland landscape, surrounded by nature with views of nesting storks. Due to the spacious layout, there is a clear distinction from a standard bungalow park. This fits with the owner's vision: Guests should feel at home in a natural, relaxed way. In short, a place to truly unwind. The surroundings:
Within a 5-minute walk you are in the Zandstuve Forest where you have many walking and cycling paths. You can walk your dog here, who is of course also welcome. In the morning you can greet the birds, hares, and deer here.
There is much more natural beauty to admire in the immediate vicinity: Eerde, Junne, the Engberdijksvenen, the Regge, Hancate, Lemelerberg, you name it. It is the perfect base for anyone who enjoys a nice walk or bike ride. There is also plenty of fishing water to be found around Den Ham in canals, rivers, and streams. Den Ham and the surrounding villages such as Ommen, Hellendoorn, etc. offer extensive facilities for everyone. Finally, there are many (highly rated) restaurants to be found in the immediate vicinity.
For the children:
In addition to fun in the wooded surroundings, there are many more activities; for example, in Den Ham and Vroomshoop you will find an outdoor swimming pool (approx. 10 minutes by bike). In addition, there are amusement parks such as: "Avonturenpark Hellendoorn" (10 minutes by car), Ballorig and Kartplaza Nijverdal (10 minutes by car), and Ponypark Slagharen (25 minutes by car).
