We had a very pleasant stay in this spacious and tastefully decorated holiday home. The house is significantly larger than you would expect based on the photos, with multiple bedrooms and generous living spaces. Both the kitchen, living room (seating area), dining areas, and laundry room offer more than enough space for a larger group, so you don't quickly get in each other's way. The decor is rustic and well-kept, and the house is equipped with all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay. What stands out especially is the surroundings: tranquility, expansive views over the fields, and waking up in the morning to the sound of birds. This greatly contributes to the overall experience. The welcome from the owner was particularly warm and attentive. We were personally greeted, fresh fruit was ready, and we even received fresh eggs from the chickens. A small gesture that says a lot about hospitality. The hot tub in the garden is a nice addition and there is enough wood available. However, we noticed that the type of wood was less suitable, causing it to burn quickly and it took relatively long for the water to reach temperature. There are also a few points of attention. The beds are on the smaller side, which is less comfortable for taller guests. Additionally, the AGA stove is less user-friendly in practice than it sounds on paper. Although there is a secondary gas stove present, cooking on an AGA requires specific knowledge and methods. Even with professional cooking experience, the appliance proved to be limited practically for daily use. A traditional, spacious gas stove with an oven would functionally fit better here. All in all, a recommendation for those looking for peace, space, and a characterful stay, combined with a very warm welcome.

Unfortunately, we do not have a positive experience with this house. We went to this house for our 60th wedding anniversary with children, grandchildren and supporters. While going to bed, our son-in-law found bed bugs in his bed. The next morning we found these animals in three more beds. Can happen! We informed the owner the next morning and showed the owner everything. She confirmed that she saw it and took pictures of it. We decided to leave later that day, but we spent the day there together, after all, it was our wedding party. Then the tug-of-war began. There has been contact about the financial compensation with Belvilla, but it does nothing for you at all! They calculate in such a way that no one is harmed except the customer. We ended up getting about 30% back, which is outrageous! There has also been contact with the owner, who appears to only be friendly if everything runs smoothly. Even called our daughter a pushover in a raised voice. He said that a cleaning company came and found nothing in the beds. That we took it with us to this house, but also took it back with us. Truly incredible! No, never to this house again, and never again with Belvilla!

We were warmly welcomed (and waved) by the homeowners (who live at the back of the yard). The accommodation was spacious and warm. We had a nice time. The environment is quiet. Right next to the house a walking path begins along a stream, so you do not have to walk on the road. Beautiful walking path next to the stream and along the Berkel. The apartment downstairs is very nice and spacious. The play loft was also a success. Minus is the ventilation above. It was too hot to sleep and therefore a little stuffy. One room has no window. The window above the door made it harder for the little ones to sleep. The Aga in the kitchen can not be arranged either in the summer can be a problem. The hot tub is well used, but it took up to 10 hours of warm-up time. Furthermore, it is a real home with atmosphere and space enough. We enjoyed.

There were 13 of us in this holiday home and we were all very impressed. The hot tub was our highlight. The size of the kitchen invites you to cook together. In the large living room we could all sit comfortably together in front of the fireplace. The rooms are very comfortably furnished and the beds were very comfortable. It was a warm welcome and then a tour in and around the house. It was a wonderfully spacious location (we were 4 adults and 5 children). There is even a large indoor play area for the kids. The hot tub is very spacious and we have used it daily. In the garden on the side of the kitchen you have a stone bbq and also a heated terrace, a lovely place to stay in the evening (there is a heater). The area was nice and quiet and there is a lot of nature. There is also a natural pool nearby, fun to go with the kids. In the area you can also go to a wine tasting (or buy the wines there and taste them at home). We look back on a wonderful midweek.

Stayed for a week with 12 people in this very spacious house. Overall we were definitely satisfied. The pros and cons of the very friendly owners who responded immediately when needed, the room in the house, the general amenities and certainly the rest. As a point of criticism, we regretted that the recreational space on the ground floor could no longer be used by tenants. However, it was mentioned at the time of booking that she could be used if she was free, but in the meanwhile it appears that it has changed. In itself, this is not a problem (there is still a large relaxation room on the first floor), but there are regular people in the room below (eg staff) and this room closes directly on the living room ( even with a window), which we found "privacy-friendly" not really pleasant. Our tip is to close this window somehow. Also, everything was fine, maybe just a little more light in the kitchen because that was a bit faint ... In summary, we find this a very nice house and we can certainly recommend it.

Our stay in the holiday home Gelink Hof was a fantastic experience despite the rainy weather. We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The spacious kitchen, equipped with everything you could wish for, lent itself to preparing meals together. Eating breakfast, lunch, and the prepared buffets together raised the mood. For the youngest ages 2 and 5 up to our ages of 80 plus and everyone in between had a great time. Everything has been thought of. From a cuddly toy to a play loft and the hot tub. As a surprise, a photographer came from Winschoten to take pictures of our family. It was pouring rain, so it was not possible outside, but in the play loft we did. We really liked the pigs, the horse, the goats and the other animals around the house and through the Klootschieten activity we discovered how beautiful the Achterhoek is. We spent a wonderful weekend in the house of two lovely owners. And the workshop and forge, in which we were allowed to take a look, were also special. In the house and around the house it became clear that a very creative artist has been working here. It was a magnificent weekend, a memory was born. Thanks for everything.

A quiet place in nature. We were 8 adults and 4 small children, the house offers good space for this, the animals on the property are also fun to watch. The hot tub (March) was heated after 12h at about 26 degrees, which took considerably longer than expected. Facilities otherwise fine, please note! We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in honor of my parents' 45 year old marriage. From 0 to 72 places and entertainment for everyone. Free reception, the owners live next to the group house and run a special forge there is plenty of private space with a fenced yard, and huge yard with chickens, pigs, goats, geese and pony Tibbe. The accommodation is a beautiful old farmhouse, lovingly refurbished with preserving old floors, an AGA stove in the cozy kitchen, a giga dining table and plenty of sanitation for everyone. Comfortable beds, all in the kitchen, dishwashers, coffee, basics, games, books (see pictures) to skelters and a wonderful play solder. The surroundings are wonderfully quiet, the house is located on a quiet country road almost on the German border, on a stream near a swimming pond, walking in the woods, mountain biking on ATB route Haaksbergen, Eibergen at 10 min for shops what do you need more? Tip groceries can be delivered by local Plus, Jumbo and AH deliver not. Let cater the Bell in Eibergen.Min tip upstairs very hearty, so for families with crying babies and snoring swords earbuds -)

For our annual family midweek we stayed in Gelink Hof in Rekken during the period from 21 to 25 August 2017. The reception was very warm. Coffee, cake and fruit were ready for use. The use of the oven was explained. We made nice bike tours and enjoyed the flower corso held during our stay. We were 1st grade because the corso came for our stay. During the week we were attracted to delicious fresh eggs from the chickens who greeted us enthusiastically each morning. The accommodation was fine, good beds, plenty of space and a wall of books and games also makes it on less sunny days for a pleasant stay.

We had a great week of vacation with our children and grandchildren, meant for the occasion of our 40-year marriage, but due to a serious illness with one of the grandchildren, this vacation received a different charge. The Gelink Hof turned out to be extremely suitable for this. The tranquility, space, environment and special location were the ingredients for an unforgettable holiday. Also the reception by Nienke, with which we had a direct click and her attention in the form of fresh eggs contributed to that. Tim was very helpful with a problem with the dryer, but also with the good hot heating of the hot tub. Tim is happy to give a tour of the forge. There was a lot of playground for our klenk children, both in the playroom and in the garden and also in the area there is much to do for children, such as swimming (Haaksbergen), playgrounds everywhere and various theme walks for children (Looking for Woudy in Neede is a must). We celebrated the birthday of the seriously ill grandchild in De Hof van Eckberge with a very nicely laid out outdoor part, where our grandchildren had a great time.

Good clean house with a nice kitchen. 2 dishwashers is also very practical.The playroom is on the first floor at the end of a long corridor, so not practical for children under 5 years. It took us a lot of 24 hours to heat up the hot tub.

Full walking and cycling (on and off the road) possibilities (even starting from the farm). For groups with young children, a serious recommendation is to visit the family zoo of Nordhorn. A quiet place in nature. We were 8 adults and 4 small children, the house offers good space for this, the animals on the property are also fun to watch. The hot tub (March) was heated after 12h at about 26 degrees, which took considerably longer than expected. Facilities otherwise fine, please note! Free reception, the owners live next to the group house and run a special forge there is plenty of private space with a fenced yard, and huge yard with chickens, pigs, goats, geese and pony Tibbe. The accommodation is a beautiful old farmhouse, lovingly refurbished with preserving old floors, an AGA stove in the cozy kitchen, a giga dining table and plenty of sanitation for everyone. Our stay in the holiday home Gelink Hof was a fantastic experience despite the rainy weather. We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The spacious kitchen, equipped with everything you could wish for, lent itself to preparing meals together. Eating breakfast, lunch, and the prepared buffets together raised the mood. For the youngest ages 2 and 5 up to our ages of 80 plus and everyone in between had a great time. Everything has been thought of. From a cuddly toy to a play loft and the hot tub. As a surprise, a photographer came from Winschoten to take pictures of our family. It was pouring rain, so it was not possible outside, but in the play loft we did. We really liked the pigs, the horse, the goats and the other animals around the house and through the Klootschieten activity we discovered how beautiful the Achterhoek is. We spent a wonderful weekend in the house of two lovely owners. And the workshop and forge, in which we were allowed to take a look, were also special. In the house and around the house it became clear that a very creative artist has been working here. It was a magnificent weekend, a memory was born. Thanks for everything.

Although we arrived too early, we received a warm welcome, even a pot of coffee was cooked for us and our home-baked cake, a nice start to our long weekend. We liked the accommodation very much, different designed, comfortable sleeping areas, the living / Dining area was ideal for us with 17 people, the AGA stove is great, but should be explained more precisely, and the hottub was used almost every day or evening. We were warmly welcomed (and waved) by the homeowners (who live at the back of the yard). The accommodation was spacious and warm. We had a nice time. The environment is quiet. Right next to the house a walking path begins along a stream, so you do not have to walk on the road. Beautiful walking path next to the stream and along the Berkel. The apartment downstairs is very nice and spacious. The play loft was also a success. Minus is the ventilation above. It was too hot to sleep and therefore a little stuffy. One room has no window. The window above the door made it harder for the little ones to sleep. The Aga in the kitchen can not be arranged either in the summer can be a problem. The hot tub is well used, but it took up to 10 hours of warm-up time. Furthermore, it is a real home with atmosphere and space enough. We enjoyed.

Stayed for a week with 12 people in this very spacious house. Overall we were definitely satisfied. The pros and cons of the very friendly owners who responded immediately when needed, the room in the house, the general amenities and certainly the rest. As a point of criticism, we regretted that the recreational space on the ground floor could no longer be used by tenants. However, it was mentioned at the time of booking that she could be used if she was free, but in the meanwhile it appears that it has changed. In itself, this is not a problem (there is still a large relaxation room on the first floor), but there are regular people in the room below (eg staff) and this room closes directly on the living room ( even with a window), which we found "privacy-friendly" not really pleasant. On arrival we are very warmly received by the hostess. It was nice and warm in the house and all 17 (!!) beds were already made. The house, the farm is very cozy and really everything is there! We were warmly welcomed (and waved) by the homeowners (who live at the back of the yard). The accommodation was spacious and warm. We had a nice time. The environment is quiet. Right next to the house a walking path begins along a stream, so you do not have to walk on the road. Beautiful walking path next to the stream and along the Berkel. The apartment downstairs is very nice and spacious. The play loft was also a success. Minus is the ventilation above. It was too hot to sleep and therefore a little stuffy. One room has no window. The window above the door made it harder for the little ones to sleep. The Aga in the kitchen can not be arranged either in the summer can be a problem. The hot tub is well used, but it took up to 10 hours of warm-up time. Furthermore, it is a real home with atmosphere and space enough. We enjoyed.

Although we arrived too early, we received a warm welcome, even a pot of coffee was cooked for us and our home-baked cake, a nice start to our long weekend. We liked the accommodation very much, different designed, comfortable sleeping areas, the living / Dining area was ideal for us with 17 people, the AGA stove is great, but should be explained more precisely, and the hottub was used almost every day or evening. All around our holiday home there was enough space for both adults and children to feel comfortable. The area is ideal for cycling, boat rentals are nearby, and a canoe trip on the Berkel we had a lot of fun.

What a wonderful weekend with my children and grandchildren !!!!!! Received very hospitable and received excellent explanations about the house. The house is ideal for large groups. Everything is there and the owners are very attentive enough toilet paper, shower gel, hand soap, dishwasher cubes ect. There are plenty of options in the house and on the premises. Lovely sitting in the hottup and the children have fun with the indoor and outdoor toys and the animals. The owner reacted very understanding when we accidentally let the horses escape. Because of the silence and the rural environment we have completely relaxed. The flamingos in the Zwilling Brock are highly recommended, especially by the enthusiastic volunteer who could tell us all about the animals, and we will definitely come back again.

Very nice owners with beautiful surroundings. A super BBQ and also terrace heating. That is delicious. Good clean house with a nice kitchen. 2 dishwashers is also very practical.The playroom is on the first floor at the end of a long corridor, so not practical for children under 5 years. It took us a lot of 24 hours to heat up the hot tub.

We had a great week of vacation with our children and grandchildren, meant for the occasion of our 40-year marriage, but due to a serious illness with one of the grandchildren, this vacation received a different charge. The Gelink Hof turned out to be extremely suitable for this. The tranquility, space, environment and special location were the ingredients for an unforgettable holiday. Also the reception by Nienke, with which we had a direct click and her attention in the form of fresh eggs contributed to that. Tim was very helpful with a problem with the dryer, but also with the good hot heating of the hot tub. Tim is happy to give a tour of the forge. There was a lot of playground for our klenk children, both in the playroom and in the garden and also in the area there is much to do for children, such as swimming (Haaksbergen), playgrounds everywhere and various theme walks for children (Looking for Woudy in Neede is a must). We celebrated the birthday of the seriously ill grandchild in De Hof van Eckberge with a very nicely laid out outdoor part, where our grandchildren had a great time.

It is a wonderful stay a modern furnished old farmhouse. It is very spacious with several pleasant places to sit inside and outside. For children it is very nice because of the spacious living room, the garden and the playroom. The house is tastefully decorated and in perfect condition. The kitchen facilities are excellent, well equipped with equipment. The yard is interesting because of the forge, the artworks and the animals. The area is ideal for walking and cycling. A welcoming and enthusiastic Nienke received us (gave explanation and guided tour) in the large former farm. Especially the AGA stove seemed like a challenge to us, but we really liked it. Even a large (for 12 people) stuffed turkey came out deliciously tasty! The house looks well cared for and is fully equipped. Excellent beds with neat bedding including towels. Modern equipment (fridges, dishwashers, TV's, washing machine and dryer) and everything one needs for 14 people is present. The area offers everything that a rest and nature lover can desire. Full walking and cycling (on and off the road) possibilities (even starting from the farm). For groups with young children, a serious recommendation is to visit the family zoo of Nordhorn. Very suitable and interesting for children. With very civilized entrance fees and free parking (where are you still against?) Summarizing a must!

A quiet place in nature. We were 8 adults and 4 small children, the house offers good space for this, the animals on the property are also fun to watch. The hot tub (March) was heated after 12h at about 26 degrees, which took considerably longer than expected. Facilities otherwise fine, please note! Curtains are not well darkened so if you are sensitive to this, take an eye mask or the like.

The arrival was very warm. We got a tour and it all looked neatly cared for. It was good to find and beautifully situated. We have had wonderful days. We had the groceries delivered by the Plus in Eibergen and we received fresh eggs from the owners of the house. The children have a great time in the large garden and in the hot tub. We did not even use the fantastic play loft because of the nice weather. For us reason enough to come back again. We ate once in De Hoge Esch in Buurse. Really recommended for families with small children. The accommodation was nice and spacious and clean. Getting used to the beautiful stove, but that went fine. The beds were good too. Delicious when the beds are made and the towels are ready. In short, a must!

Our stay in the holiday home Gelink Hof was a fantastic experience despite the rainy weather. We celebrated our 60th wedding anniversary with our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The spacious kitchen, equipped with everything you could wish for, lent itself to preparing meals together. Eating breakfast, lunch, and the prepared buffets together raised the mood. For the youngest ages 2 and 5 up to our ages of 80 plus and everyone in between had a great time. Everything has been thought of. From a cuddly toy to a play loft and the hot tub. As a surprise, a photographer came from Winschoten to take pictures of our family. It was pouring rain, so it was not possible outside, but in the play loft we did. We really liked the pigs, the horse, the goats and the other animals around the house and through the Klootschieten activity we discovered how beautiful the Achterhoek is. We spent a wonderful weekend in the house of two lovely owners. And the workshop and forge, in which we were allowed to take a look, were also special. In the house and around the house it became clear that a very creative artist has been working here. It was a magnificent weekend, a memory was born. Thanks for everything.

It was a warm welcome and then a tour in and around the house. It was a wonderfully spacious location (we were 4 adults and 5 children). There is even a large indoor play area for the kids. The hot tub is very spacious and we have used it daily. In the garden on the side of the kitchen you have a stone bbq and also a heated terrace, a lovely place to stay in the evening (there is a heater). The area was nice and quiet and there is a lot of nature. There is also a natural pool nearby, fun to go with the kids. In the area you can also go to a wine tasting (or buy the wines there and taste them at home). We look back on a wonderful midweek.
