The 8-person villa is spacious, especially on the ground floor. The huge windows overlooking the garden are beautiful. Upstairs the bedrooms turned out to be quite small and very warm. Ventilation is poorly arranged, especially in the bathroom air conditioning is needed. Now we had a very warm weekend; unfortunately our guests hardly slept a wink, despite the fan they brought from home.

The kitchen inventory is barely sufficient for a whole day of eating and drinking, and we ran the dishwasher every day (fortunately I had brought a few extra cubes from home). The welcome package with two (!) rolls of toilet paper was a joke. A few positive things: lots of space to sit in the shade, also in the garden. Swimming pool is a bit old-fashioned, small and nice and close; number of chairs is insufficient, sunbathing area is very small. When the park is fully occupied with large and small guests, it becomes an anthill. The location of De Scheleberg is excellent, places like Lunteren (everything closed on Sundays) and Barneveld (excellent Italian) can be reached in less than fifteen minutes.

In short, this is a pleasant but expensive destination for a long weekend; for a longer stay you have to look for entertainment outside the park. Next time I will bring my own sheets and towels. 110 euros will be charged for cleaning, which is tough.

What I have trouble with is that the house is not accessible for an electric wheelchair on arrival. There is a stone path to the house where the wheelchair is difficult to get through. The biggest problem is that the house is on an elevation and a wheelchair cannot compete with that. I think this is really a BAD MATTER, especially given this time, wheelchair users sometimes do not go on vacation, can these people not go to your parks? If I can give a recommendation then this would be that there is a ramp / plate present at the house whether this can be requested when booking.Fortunately, we had a ramp with us.In addition, there is not thought about the pool, this is also not accessible for people with a physical disability. Nature at its best! A beatiful forest nearby the houses. Lovely place for relaxing walks and biking with the spreaded greem lands all around the houses. Been there for 5 days and will go again sure but with a local sim card amd my own car. The place is outside the city amd by car 10 to 15 minutes to the nearest supermarket which you will need since the place does not have a supermarket. Also Taxi service is hard to reach. The phone signal is not strong always so you need to try many times to call the taxi company and the front desk is not always welcoming the help to order the taxi. Though the lady there helped us for once to order a taxi from the park phone when our phones did not function due to being away from the city, the other lady was not happy to help. I understand that it is not her job to order a taxi but it would be great to help out a foreigners not feeling lost in a foreign country. Be aware that Uber does not cover this area so either bring your car or schedule with a taxi beforehand. There is an Asian restuarant and ice cream shop in the park itself. The house we were in was perfect! Clean and organized with everything we needed except toilet papers. After all, the place is very worth it amd amazing! One thing I dont want to forget: beds are heavenly comfy and soft!

Quiet area and a nice zwembad.In arrival the cottage was not clean only there was chips between the couch, a dirty sock next to the bed, handprints on lockers and a large dead flattened mosquito on the wall. We did not think this was okay as we have to pay 75 euros in cleaning costs. Then you expect to find the house clean.

You come in a beautiful environment full of beautiful plants. A nice green paradise. The houses are unfortunately too close together. The large window in the hallway to bedrooms is the biggest stumbling block. Furthermore, the house is a nice, clean, modern house with a nice corner sofa. The lights behind the living room are something you need to get used to. 1) For us it was a big (unpleasant) surprise that we had to pay 115 euros on arrival for cleaning and bed linen. You had no choice in that. My tip would be to include it in the rental price.2) The site states that you rent 3 nights for 2 nights, but you may only arrive at 3:00 PM and you have to be out by 10 in the morning, so that is not true. It is a piece of afternoon, evening, 1 day and a small piece of morning. Less than two x 24 hours. The surroundings are beautiful. Within 15 minutes by car on the Hoge Veluwe and from the house you can walk straight into the forest. If you like that, you're in the right place! We only found the house less clean. The kitchen in particular was dirty and the dishwasher was not working. When reported at the reception it was laughed away. Unfortunately! The place is outside the city amd by car 10 to 15 minutes to the nearest supermarket which you will need since the place does not have a supermarket. Also Taxi service is hard to reach. The phone signal is not strong always so you need to try many times to call the taxi company and the front desk is not always welcoming the help to order the taxi. Though the lady there helped us for once to order a taxi from the park phone when our phones did not function due to being away from the city, the other lady was not happy to help. I understand that it is not her job to order a taxi but it would be great to help out a foreigners not feeling lost in a foreign country.

Be aware that Uber does not cover this area so either bring your car or schedule with a taxi beforehand.

There is an Asian restuarant and ice cream shop in the park itself.

The house we were in was perfect! Clean and organized with everything we needed except toilet papers.

After all, the place is very worth it amd amazing!

One thing I dont want to forget: beds are heavenly comfy and soft!

Technical maintenance of the house. Namely: (1) The gas fireplace intended for warmth and atmosphere was defective 2 of the 3 days. According to a friendly employee who came by and did not get the fireplace burning, this had happened much more often and had not been remedied. Despite various promises, no maintenance technician came to adequately resolve the defect. (2) Whenever the boiler / boiler or similar started, there was an enormous noise, so loud and intense that it seemed as if the foundation was being demolished. Using warm water while the 11-week-old baby was sleeping was therefore definitely undesirable. (3) the adjacent house with whirlpool was inhabited by approximately 6 young people. Music was played until 5.00 am, fun was played with bottles rattling, large helium balloons were filled over and over again. This gave us a very nasty night. Apparently there is no night security in the park.

What I have trouble with is that the house is not accessible for an electric wheelchair on arrival. There is a stone path to the house where the wheelchair is difficult to get through. The biggest problem is that the house is on an elevation and a wheelchair cannot compete with that. I think this is really a BAD MATTER, especially given this time, wheelchair users sometimes do not go on vacation, can these people not go to your parks? We were able to check in between 1500 and 1800 according to the papers. It was Ascension Day and we had already taken into account a very busy check-in period.
