We had a great time in this restored farmhouse in Wijlre! The space was enormous, seriously, we didn't even use half of it. I really enjoyed the clean and welcoming atmosphere of the house. The two terraces were perfect for having breakfast while enjoying the view of the countryside. We took beautiful walks in the Geul valley that was right at our doorstep. Moreover, the steam train that passed by was just a nice detail, it made the place more authentic. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We had rented two houses at the same time, they were neat and clean. The beds were good and the bathrooms were clean. Next to the house is a small terrace where you can sit in the sun and can watch the beautiful Limburg. Valkenburg is a few kilometers away and also Wijlre has a nice cafe and restaurant. The cottage is not very luxurious and the bedrooms are on the tight side and lack of storage. The photo 's give a good idea of ​​the luxury of the house. There is ample space for car' s, the driveway is shared with the adjacent house of the owners.

We had rented two houses at the same time, they were neat and clean. The beds were good and the bathrooms were clean. Next to the house is a small terrace where you can sit in the sun and can watch the beautiful Limburg. Valkenburg is a few kilometers away and also Wijlre has a nice cafe and restaurant. The cottage is not very luxurious and the bedrooms are on the tight side and lack of storage. The photo 's give a good idea of ​​the luxury of the house. We have our family with a wonderful long weekend in this old farm had. The house / kitchen is almost fully equipped. Beds slept great, showers were prima.We a top weekend.

Wijlre is a good starting point to visit the Gaia Zoo, so with children. Cyclists and mountain bikers can indulge themselves on the narrow roads and hills of South Limburg. Walking through the Geuldal is recommended.

While we were driving we all enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We were received very hospitable. The two vacation homes were well suited to each other for our family wekend with 14 people. The houses were practical, yet comfortably furnished. Recommended!

Tasty receive Limburg pie! Along the way to Valkenburg, but very quiet in the field gelegen.Vriendelijke hostesses and everything neatly verzorgd.Broodjes should you buy in the village, because an oven is not.
