Setting was very nice, perfect for a bike weekend. The house was basic in terms of decor but a very nice terrace to sit in. The arrival was not very cordial. Despite the fact that we had announced our arrival time, we commented on the fact that we arrived in the evening. There was also a lot of tension and stress about parking the cars at the owner's house and we hardly had the chance to unpack our things.

We were four adults and four children aged 11-18 years. Everyone had a wonderful time. The house offers plenty of space and the environment is a lot to do hiking, swimming, cities like Aachen and Maastricht View, karting and more. The welcome is warm and the house looks spotless out!

There were good beds and it was nice to have two bathrooms. On the terrace a beautiful view of the hills. Near many hiking opportunities. In addition, the large cities in a short time to achieve. We have our two boys, aged 4 years and 7 months, a wonderful week polite. The house is fine and is ideally located for hiking tours and excursions by car. We have some very nice walks with stunning views near the house where we always made our walk afsloten for ice cream farm near Paul. We Aachen, Maastricht, Valkenburg and Gulpen visited. This is all so close. Just wonderful. For the pancakes pancake lovers we can mill in Gulpen highly recommend! Also in this holiday cottage South Limburg we can recommend. You will leave with a good feeling.

The week started with a very hot summer weekend of 35 degrees and it was a nice place in the shade on the terrace behind the house where we are until late in the evening gezeten.Ondanks breakdown of everything we can take as the bus stop locations near Valkenburg as for the door. The cyclists in our group enjoyed the beautiful hilly surroundings. However, this requires some cycling fitness required!

Words fail. A lovely house in a beautiful setting. Plenty of attractions nearby. For children there is plenty to do: Paul 's ice cream farm on the other side, swimming pool in Gulpen, Pancake Mill in Gulpen, Gaia Zoo in Kerkrade, Monte Verde in Landgraaf, Valkenburg, Maastricht, Drielandenpunt. Hiking and cycling routes in the vicinity . A must. We will definitely come back!

In the weekend of 21 September / 24 September we stayed at this property with a group of friends of 8 people. We arrived a little early and that was no problem. We were welcomed by a very friendly owner! She was always up for a chat and if you needed anything she was there for you. The house is in excellent condition and looks very neat. It is situated in a quiet area and is an ideal location for trips such as cycling. If we go that way again, we will definitely return here.

What a nice shelter for excursions. Two scenic train neatly around, for example trips to Maastricht and Aachen. Footpaths left and right around the house start. Provided Trench not beyond its banks. Then not be afraid of a few wet feet. But that makes the adventure! With Gulpen Valkenburg and a stone's throw away, there are plenty atlernatieven. Even in rainy weather. The house has an enormous table, where you easily can develop a puzzle with 1500 pieces. An overwhelming hospitality at reception was shared with us by the owner. With cake and a Christmas bread! We are z "n sixes before and the house is big enough to each other not to run away when it rains unexpectedly little longer .... and did it regularly. A friendly welcoming reception with Limburg pie made for a great start to our short vacation. The area has plenty to see and do. We enjoyed Maastricht, Aachen and the kart track in Vaals. The walk along the Geul and exploring the ruins above Valkenburg was very nice. As for the children is the lack of WIFI or an absolute bummer.

We have entertained us fine. Beautiful surroundings. The supermarket nearby. Several places like Valkenburg, Gulpen and Maastricht close. Very welcoming reception by the ladies. And because there was no WIFI (where a previous guest WITH children was not so happy) we have (with 4 kids) done fashioned many games !! Not really.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We were very hospitably received (and waved) and had a wonderful week. The environment is beautiful and there is plenty to do with a 10-month-old baby. Unfortunately it was too hot to walk a lot, but from the house you walked straight to the Geul. The cottage itself remained relatively cool and was fully equipped. It was clean, the kitchen is very well equipped, the beds were fine and for us it was very nice that there was a high chair. From the terrace you looked nice into the Geuldal. It met our (high) expectations and the pictures give a very good picture of how it really is.

The living room and kitchen are spacious, but you can also sit comfortably. You can enjoy walking and cycling in the area (e-bikes recommended) and the escape room in Valkenburg is a must.
