Beautiful park in a beautiful setting and a great house. However, we did not get the house we had booked, so I had to walk far from house to parking lot. Despite my invalid card it was not negotiable to park the car at the house (and when booking I did not see anywhere that it was a car-free park). The way the owner spoke to me about my walking ability was rude. The promised combi microwave turned out to be only a microwave. There was very little crockery and (especially) cutlery available. I understand that dogs have to be paid a little extra, but € 75 extra for 3 dogs that have been there for 3 nights is very expensive (especially in relation to the rental price)

We had a fantastic stay at the Serene Holiday Home! The location is perfect for nature lovers - so peaceful and surrounded by trees. The view of the pond from the terrace was beautiful, and we enjoyed our morning coffee there. The kids loved exploring the nearby nature reserve and observing unique birds. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the "small" house; it looked larger in the photos. But nevertheless, it is a very nice house with everything you need... and especially very clean!!! For this period, it was, for us as busy parents (even without kids), wonderfully quiet, and we enjoyed the frog sounds in the evening. During the quiet periods, we would love to return, but not during school holidays/weekends since the children's entertainment (swings, ping pong table, volleyball, petanque) is around the house. For parents with children, of course, very nice!

We have booked this holiday with 3 dogs and were expecting that there is a lot to walk here. This is disgusting. As far as we know there is 1 dog off-leash area nearby. For a holiday park where dogs are allowed, this is on the very thin side. Nice house in a quiet holiday park. We were here for a week in the second half of February. The house is very small, but has everything for 2 people. However, it smelled unpleasant inside, possibly because there had been dogs in the house during this wet period. That smell still remained. Access to the house is via forest land, which was quite boggy due to the heavy rain. Excellent beds, nice sitting area.
Upon inquiry, the statement that bicycles would be available turned out to be incorrect. Facilities at the park are limited, which was no problem for us and may benefit the peace and quiet. There is a nice restaurant, which we gratefully used. Beautiful surroundings for walks and bike rides.

The advantage is that you can walk into the forest with your dog, the disadvantage is that it is pitch dark. So definitely bring a flashlight and a light for the dog leash is also nice. The cleaner said that if she cleaned there, she wouldn't be able to get that smell out either. The cleaner cleaned the rented cottage the next day. One bedroom smelled strongly of smoke. Very unfortunate. It really stank. We had to move our things again in the morning. It's a pity that one night is not reimbursed. Belvilla takes sides with the owner of the cottages after having called them. Very unfortunate.

We had a great time at the Serene Holiday Home! The location is truly a gem, surrounded by lush greenery and just a stone's throw away from a beautiful pond. The house itself is cozy and well-equipped, perfect for our small family. We especially appreciated the sheltered terrace, where we could relax after a day in the nearby nature reserve. On May 25th at 6 PM, the reception was closed, which no one had told me beforehand. I also did not receive a key number or code by email, there was poor network coverage everywhere, and no one answered the phone number we were supposed to call. Nice house in a quiet holiday park. We were here for a week in the second half of February. The house is very small, but has everything for 2 people. However, it smelled unpleasant inside, possibly because there had been dogs in the house during this wet period. That smell still remained. Access to the house is via forest land, which was quite boggy due to the heavy rain. Excellent beds, nice sitting area.
Upon inquiry, the statement that bicycles would be available turned out to be incorrect. Facilities at the park are limited, which was no problem for us and may benefit the peace and quiet. There is a nice restaurant, which we gratefully used. Beautiful surroundings for walks and bike rides.

We have booked this holiday with 3 dogs and were expecting that there is a lot to walk here. This is disgusting. As far as we know there is 1 dog off-leash area nearby. For a holiday park where dogs are allowed, this is on the very thin side. In addition, the house is actually much smaller than it appeared in the photos, probably due to the use of a certain lens, which creates a wrong expectation.

Beautiful park in a beautiful setting and a great house. However, we did not get the house we had booked, so I had to walk far from house to parking lot. Despite my invalid card it was not negotiable to park the car at the house (and when booking I did not see anywhere that it was a car-free park). The way the owner spoke to me about my walking ability was rude. The promised combi microwave turned out to be only a microwave. There was very little crockery and (especially) cutlery available. I understand that dogs have to be paid a little extra, but € 75 extra for 3 dogs that have been there for 3 nights is very expensive (especially in relation to the rental price)

A nice little, reasonably well equipped cottage in a beautiful nature park. It is very quiet and peaceful here (end of October). The advantage is that you can walk into the forest with your dog, the disadvantage is that it is pitch dark. So definitely bring a flashlight and a light for the dog leash is also nice. The wifi often falters, you have to be able to handle that. The restaurant next to the park is fine and the distance to the supermarket in the village of Stramproy by car is short. We had a great time here.
