In July 2019 a brand new and completely sustainable holiday park will open; Water Village. It is located directly on the Oosterschelde in the Zeeland town of Kamperland.

The small-scale, car-free holiday park Water Village is built sustainably. There is no gas connection and the accommodations are built with sustainable materials. Most of the luxurious modern lodges are on the water.

Water Village itself has no facilities. However, you can (usually free of charge) make use of all facilities at the adjacent Beach Resort. The facilities described are all located on this adjacent holiday park. There is plenty to do for both young and old. Take a dip in the subtropical swimming pool, the kids can tinker in the Koos Kids Club, there is plenty of games in the ChillZone and you can enjoy a drink with a sea view in the Beachclub. And then of course there is the beach and the water; here you can get a breath of fresh air, swim, enjoy the sun or practice one of the many water sports. You will also find, among other things, a kite and windsurf school. You do not have to be bored for a moment.

In the immediate vicinity of the Water Village holiday park there are historic towns such as Veere (15 km) and Zierikzee (26 km.), the storm surge barrier and the kilometre-long coast offer plenty of ideas for fun outings. Veere is also easy to reach by bike. The nearby beach of Oostkapelle (16 km) has a Blue Flag. This European quality mark stands for clean and safe marinas and beaches. The beach at Oostkapelle is even in the Top 10 Cleanest Beaches in the Netherlands. Some other tips for trips; spotting seals during a boat trip on the Oosterschelde. Windsurfing lessons on the Veerse Meer or watch the setting sun from the North Sea beach. The historic cities of Middelburg (20 km) and Goes (21 km) are also worth a visit. Here you can enjoy a day of shopping, enjoy a bite at one of the many restaurants and terraces or immerse yourself in art and culture.

Water Village; the ultimate destination if you want to have all the facilities at hand, but do not want to stay in the middle of all the bustle.

Water Village does not have it's own reception. If you have questions, you can use the reception of the neighbouring park, Beach Resort.

All described facilities (also the images shown here) are on the neighbouring holiday park Beach Resort. As a guest of Water Village, you are able to use all these facilities.

In the case of other groups than families, an extra deposit of € 50 per person may be required.

Due to maintenance work, the Roompot Beach Resort pool will be closed from Monday 29 November to Monday 6 December. You are welcome to go swimming in the pool at Hof Domburg. This is about 20 minutes away by car.

The experience with Bellvilla was extremely good. From the first booking to (unfortunately) canceling ... due to Corona to the new booking. My stay in my apartment (Water Village) was also good. A minus point for the cleanliness, but is probably due to my (exaggerated) cleanliness. The houses are very modern, nothing was missing. It is very quiet in Water Village, ideal for someone who wants to switch off. In the opposite park there is a small supermarket / a swimming pool / restaurant / ect ... everything can be used. There is also a lot of variety for the children and if you want some peace and quiet😁…. Off to the Water Village. All in all ... good experience! To recommend ! PS there is an adjoining room with washing machine and enough space for several bicycles.

We stayed in Strandloaper No. 35. At first glance the house looks like the pictures, but it was very dirty. The floor was neither vacuumed nor mopped, the mirror in the bathroom was smeared, probably never cleaned under the beds because everything was full of flakes of dust just like in the toilet. Under the couch was the dog toy of the previous tenant, the mattresses on the beds were unreasonable as you could feel all the springs. Neither of us are fussy and not overly precise, but we didn't feel at all comfortable. The style of the houses and the location are great, with a little care you could spend nice days here for a long time, but we don't want to go on vacation in such a dirty house and can therefore not recommend it. What a shame!

A really nice house, The complex is very well maintained, Some little things in the kitchen (equipment ,,, GLÃƒÂ „SER Ã ° ÂŸÂ Â · CUTLERY Ã ° ÂŸÂ Â´ etc. are unfortunately with enough available, I had wished that it would be better cleaned in Corona times, especially since it was advertised, Unfortunately there was NO TOULET PAPER upon arrival after a long journey it would be a nice gesture, Die TÃƒÂƒ Unfortunately, Ã ° ÂŸÂšÂª could not be opened reliably, with or without rain, I would be happy if vacationers and service vehicles could drive through the system at the right speed ƒÂ¼rden, in the sense of the CHILDREN AND dogs on vacation I would be happy to come back With kind regards, K SchÃƒÂ¶ne

There were quite a few issues with the cottage when we arrived. We couldn't get inside because the electronic lock was broken. After calling, someone quickly arrived who opened the door with a key so we could go inside. After that, he went looking for a key. We can manage with it. But it's not convenient if you want to go out separately. The sliding doors do not function. The maintenance service was quickly present. Solved with brute force. I wonder if you should handle a sliding door this way. The light bulb of the outdoor light point was unscrewed by the previous occupant, the same with the lamp above the dining table. All correct and quickly resolved. I just think it would be good to check in advance if everything is functioning. There is nothing wrong with the house itself, and it is pleasant to stay there.
