I would suggest a better cleaning is needed. copwebs, dust bunnies were all around. the fans in the bathrooms did not all work. one of the sinks in the hallway was leaking.

Large house with a nice garden and pleasant sanitary facilities. But many extra mandatory costs make a weekend away very expensive. Windows in the bedrooms cannot be opened, so it gets very hot when the weather is nice outside. Not really suitable for young children. The pool in the park is very boring and the water is quite cold. No children's dishes available, only glassware. You have to pay extra for everything (cribs, high chairs, etc.)

We stayed at the Ijsvogel. The house was beautiful and very complete. What we found annoying was that the beds were not made upon arrival, while this was stated in the confirmation and this was also explicitly requested. And that the costs that we had to pay on site were 54 euros higher than in the confirmation from Belvilla.

The service from Belvilla was extremely poor. We ended up paying >€70 more than quoted on the site which was never refunded. There was a mix up with the payments and Belvilla owe me a refund, which I still have not received >30 days later...

The stay here was a fantastic experience! The combination of two lodges meant that we had plenty of space. The double beds were really comfortable, and a TV in the living room was a nice extra for movie nights. The garden furniture was perfect for enjoying the fresh air.
