The single floor and adjoining bungalows are spread over the park. The accommodations are all comfortable and furnished with care, and equipped with a DVD player and wireless internet (for a fee). You have the choice of various types, namely a 4+2 pers. (NL-3775-04, suitable for 4 adults and 2 children) and 4 person types (NL-3775-05, equipped with bunk beds, and NL-3775-06. This variant is more spacious and has only single beds). You also have the choice of a 2 person. type (NL-3775-09) and a 4-pers. type (NL-3775-10), this 4pers accommodation has a room specially equipped as a baby room. Incidentally, there is a child-friendly type (NL-3775-11) for 4. persons, this accommodation is equipped with a cot, high chair and box, changing mat and bouncer. One of the bedrooms is equipped with a children's bunk bed and children's toys. Finally, you can still choose from a luxury 6 person. bungalow with sauna (NL-3775-12). Each bungalow has its own terrace with garden furniture and plenty of privacy.

Through its location on the edge of the Kootwijkerzand (the largest drift dune area in Western Europe), holiday park de Berkenhorst is ideal for walking and cycling enthusiasts. A beautiful location for taking trips through the extensive forests and beautiful heaths. The park is also very suitable as a base for excursions to the Apenheul in Apeldoorn (approx. 10 km), Het Loo Palace (approx. 13 km), the Krüller-Möller Museum in Otterlo (about 20 km) or the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk (approx. 25 km away). The car-free park has many nice facilities, such as sports options, play equipment for the children, etc. Holiday Park de Berkenhorst is highly recommended for every age.
The holiday park de Berkenhorst is located in the beautiful surroundings of the Veluwe. This park has many facilities suitable for young and old, including a covered swimming pool.
From 7 July to 2 September there is entertainment for young and old.
If your pet is not requested, access to the park and the booked accommodation can be refused upon arrival. Please contact our customer contact center for this.
Reservations made by companies for their own employees are always on request. If the reservation is approved then the following rules will be applied: a maximum of 1 employee per bedroom, every two weeks an extra final cleaning is calculated, every two weeks new bed linen is calculated.

Neat house, but small bathroom for a 6 person house. Sauna was great. Cottage was located in a quiet park next to the Kootwijkse Zandverstuivingen.

It was wonderful, near the sand drift.Sauna in the house is wonderful. I just don't understand why there are no 2 person houses with a sauna. Now we were 2 people in a 6 person house.

Due to the tiled floor and the other furnishings, we found the house rather unsociable. The layout is also separate with the kitchen in the hall, no door between hall / kitchen and room and the refrigerator in the living room. The bathroom is rather small for a six-person house. The shop in the park is very small and larger shops are quite far away. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. We could use a wheelchair from the park for free, the quality of the wheelchair was not great.
