Location and surroundings of object
Resort De Woudhoeve is located in Egmond aan den Hoef, at the edge of Europe's most beautiful dune reserve and within cycling distance from the beach and sea. There are many facilities on the park itself, including an open air swimming pool and a recreation lake with sandy beach. In the summer months there is a recreation team. In the immediate vicinity there is the beach (about 15 minutes by bike), and the charming centre of Egmond (4 km) with many restaurants, terraces and shops. The art village of Bergen has festivals (Jazz & Sail, lighted evenings) and art markets. The charming cheese town of Alkmaar with the Waagplein is nearby. There are various terraces and the cheese market. You can also hire a boat and explore the charming canals of Alkmaar. Other excursions in the area include the Beverwijk Bazaar with Chinatown, fairy tale wonderland in Enkhuizen, the steam train from Hoorn to Enkhuizen, and the sea aquariums in Bergen aan Zee or Den Helder.
Resort De Woudhoeve is a charming holiday park with detached chalets and many facilities for all ages from swimming pool to snack bar.
The accommodation at this holiday park is intended for recreational use. Therefore, it is prohibited to stay at the holiday park for any purpose other than recreation. If it transpires that the purpose of your stay is any other than recreational, you'll be denied access to the park.

The park is well maintained, the environment quiet (in September). The house is very poorly set up, the mirrors were filthy, the beds we had to be himself and deduct. Wir haben sehr viel waehrend unsere Aufenthalts unter payments whom Besuche im Marine Museum und das Aquarium in kijkduin in The Heroes, tie Zuiderzee museum in Enkhuisen sowie which Muehlen bei Heerhugowaard und den Westfriesischen Markt mit Folkloreumzug und Tanz in Schagen, nicht zu vergessen which Strandspaziergaenge am Abend und vieles mehr.

Always beautiful, the surroundings of Egmond. Good base for cycling through the dunes, to eg Bergen and Alkmaar and of course we took beach walks. The sea is never boring!

The cottage is NOT clean, have pictures of it (bedroom window). For 4 people there is not enough cutlery (small spoons). Double bed: two mattresses that you slide between. Wall above one of the double beds is dirty. The room: pear broken. Garden is somewhat fenced, but not for small dogs (they walk out of it). No hall, so the dogs can walk out as soon as you open the front door. Damage to crockery and outside cupboards. Very warm during the day No DVD player and no dishwasher, as promised in the description.

Very good !!!!! The accommodation was very clean !!!!! Staff super friendly in front of all the children in a minus and that is the only downside is the bathroom just way too small so for some strong people is the bathroom and the toilet not to use but otherwise everything is top !!!!!

We were there in August 2018. The chalets are small and simple but functional. You should not expect the mega-comfort, but it can be good for a holiday there. Everything is there that you need. The cleanliness of the accommodation, which is often criticized here, was fine. Sure, in some corners, could have been cleaned a little more accurate, but basically the house was clean. The Wi-Fi was fast and worked without problems. The houses in the park are close together, but we had one (No. 244), which was covered on all sides with a high hedge, so that you could see nowhere. The park itself is very well maintained. Nice were the football field and the pool. All in all, you can have a good time there. There is a negative point for the accommodation, however. The loft bed had no protection against loss - here you should urgently do something under security aspects!

Everything looked ok when we arrived. But after the first visit on the site came the blow. The playground was dirty and broken. From a climbing net half of the aspirations were no longer available. The metal climbing frames were rusted and hardly suitable for small children because they can injure themselves. The playground was very dirty, there was garbage around. The food was the best because you could only eat lunch. If you were traveling until evening and had no desire to cook, you had to leave the park, as it was only until 19 o'clock food. We were already several times in this holiday park and will definitely come back one more time. Our previous houses were all nicely furnished and always clean. If then but something was missing -. Beautiful surroundings, cultural things to do, good chalet but poor beds and absolutely no wifi although this vermed is on site, chalet was not cleaned properly, there were dead mosquitos everywhere, while much money is asked for. Cleaning round Card in restaurant was very brief.

For the online costs, a cleaning fee of 49euro is payable on site. That should also be so, but only when it is clean ... unfortunately it was not really clean, also the shower wall has solved itself. Hair under the beds, etc. I was told after my departure, why I had not said what before .. then you would have cleaned the house again.
