To spend a day at the beach, you can head to Julianadorp or Callantsoog. The town center of Westerland with supermarkets, restaurants, and nightlife pubs rests at 4 km. You can enjoy your evenings here.

The holiday home was exceptionally clean and tidy when we arrived. There was lots of space, it felt light and airy. The kitchen was very well equipped with a large fridge freezer, lots of worktop space and kitchen utensils. It was a pity there was no microwave or toaster. The steam oven was effective but small for a family of five. The listing did not mention the café underneath the holiday home. This was not a problem for us as the café was closed for the majority of our visit but we wish we would have known about it before booking.

Midweek stayed in this beautiful apartment in westerland. Very nice and luxury apartment. Spacious, comfortable (slept fine beds) and child friendly. Hosted by very hospitable family. In westerland itself and the campsite is not very much to do, but it's there peacefully. The car was fine to do to still make some trips in the neighborhood.

After our last minute debacle last year, we were looking for a modern holiday. The ad was already clear that this house is newly built. Upon arrival it was found that apparent everything tip top and no shortage! In addition, the house is larger than the picture

On the day of arrival was at the time someone on the spot and we would be very nice in very good German (which we generally do not expect) welcomed. There is nothing to complain about the house. Everything perfect. The equipment of the kitchen, the furniture throughout the house and the cleanliness, everything with excellent value. There is a lot to explore in the area. Whether seniors or families with children. There is something to do for every taste. A lake, as well as the Wadden Sea and beautiful North Sea beaches. An interesting, unusual zoo, a crossing to the island Texel u.s.w ..... One week was not enough to see everything.

We were traveling with 6 adults and a toddler on New Year's Eve guests. The apartment is top renovated (just 1.5 years old), beautiful and very spacious. The equipment left open almost nothing to be desired. Cot, high chair and stair gates, underfloor heating in the bathrooms and in the living room were a great thing, especially for the little girl, both the built-in refrigerator ice maker and the whirlpool function in the bath were very nice touches. Cooking utensils were also abundant, fridge and freezer offered ample space, the beautiful large living room table invited to stay and play. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, all our requests were promptly into action umgesetzt.Die location is quite rural, but you could easily drive to the nearby supermarkets (about 5km) arrive and take some interesting excursions. We visited as the port city of Den Helder (about 15km), the beautiful fishing village of Hoorn (ca. 35 km), the traditional town of Enkhuizen (approx 40km), the beautiful and famous mainly by its cheese market Alkmaar (40km) and the capital Amsterdam (about 70km). The house / apartment is top. Everything is easily accessible (North Sea 20km, Amstelmeer at your feet, Ijselmeer about 8km). It is a great, nicely furnished and spacious apartment. As small criticisms (but at a high level) are to mention the apartment is very noisy, that offered Wi-Fi is very weak). As a small suggestion there should be some more crockery and cutlery available. With 6 people and only a similar number of cutlery and crockery either always runs a little filled dishwasher, or you just stop by hand rinse.

Nice and very clean house with good beds and interior, nice location and a great warm welcome from the owners. Our Joris of 12 has greatly enjoyed the trampoline and rides in the golf cart to the site. (Owner Kees) From this location we have day trips to Hoorn, Texel, Alkmaar, Den Helder gedaan.En a day zee.Kortom, this house has earned a recommendation! It was a great week!

We were warmly received at the beautiful and luxurious home. A lot of space and nicely decorated with the luxury of a hot tub, a five burner gas stove and a beautiful American fridge. Delicious hyis to stay a week and a fun environment. Near the beach and great base to go to Texel. We enjoyed and the owners were helpful and easily accessible when we wanted to ask something.

It was a great vacation!! The accommodation was very generous, tastefully decorated and well maintained. We all felt pudelwohl! Everyone had enough space and the kids loved the house and the playground. The surrounding area also offered us plenty of possibilities for activities, walking and relaxing. Shrimp fishing, wading and walking in the fish restaurant were our highlights. Every day fresh bread rolls and shopping (Aldi) a place, our food made easy. There was also the house in the cafe for something to eat. Everything was great, we will be back!
