The holiday homes in the Callassande holiday resort come in three different types, suitable for four or six people.
There's a ground-floor 4-person lodge (NL-1759-43) for example, featuring two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a smart TV in the living room. The bedrooms are furnished with single beds.
The 6-person accommodations come in two different types. A comfortable ground-floor lodge with three bedrooms and one bathroom (NL-1759-44). Two of the bedrooms are furnished with single beds, the third bedroom has bunk beds.
This lodge is also available in a two-floor variant (NL-1759-45). In this type, you'll find one bedroom with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor. The other two bedrooms and a second bathroom are located on the first floor. The downstairs bedroom is furnished with two single beds. The upstairs bedrooms have either two single beds or a bunk bed.
All holiday homes feature a complete, modern and comfortable interior. The open kitchens have a dishwasher and a combination microwave oven. The single beds are box-spring beds, either set up as single beds or pushed together to make a double bed. All of these accommodations have a terrace with garden furniture. Every holiday home has a parking space for one car.

Holiday park Callassande is located nearby the little coastal town of Groote Keeten, around 5 km from the lively centre of Callantsoog.
The holiday park consists of two parts; one part houses the modern lodges, installed in 2015 and 2016, and the other part consists of an attractive family campsite. In this part, you'll also find the safari tents and chalets. This makes for an nice mix of accommodations, attracting a diversity of guests.
The park itself offers various facilities for all ages. These include an indoor swimming pool, a playground with a bouncy castle, a restaurant and a tennis court. And of course there's entertainment too; sports and animation activities are organised, for the youngest guests featuring the \"world-famous\" rabbit Koos Konijn.
One of the biggest advantages of Holiday park Callassande is its location near the beach. This can already be found within 1 km and is easy to get to from the park via a short walk through the dunes. You'll find some Blue Flag beaches in Callantsoog. This is a European certification for clean and safe beaches and marinas.
There's more than enough to do in the surroundings. In springtime, the wonderful bulb fields are in bloom. There are various natural areas which are great for walking and cycling tours. The many pleasant towns in the area are good places to go shopping, visit museums or to relax and have a drink and a bite to eat on a terrace. Cities like Den Helder, Schagen, Alkmaar and even Haarlem and Amsterdam are easy to get to. Another possible day trip is to Texel island.
In short: a versatile holiday destination offering something for everyone. Discover the Northern part of Noord Holland province and enjoy everything on offer in this interesting area. Holiday park Callassande will make a perfect base for this.
Holiday park Callassande is a large holiday park only 1 km away from the beach. It has many facilities, including a covered swimming pool, a tennis court and a lovely restaurant.
Bookings for groups or parties of people under 21 years are not permitted.
For groups, if not traveling as a family, an extra deposit of € 50 p.p. will be required.

Great for family. The children were very happy. There were many great opportunities to do something here on the facility, even in bad weather. Always my pleasure.

A nice house, especially if you have a dog with you because the garden is fenced. The cottage is for six people, but that is a bit tight. It is a pity that the code of the house did not work and that our German predecessors had rebuilt the TV network so that technical assistance had to be involved. We also understand very well that the cleaners and the inspector cannot check everything, but checking the refrigerator would have been nice because it was certainly not clean. Cleaning the toilet once in a while is also recommended. As well as the plates and a number of cups that still had chocolate paste and coffee residues on them.
Perhaps a new dishwasher is also advisable because the drawers do not run. Also strange that the large plates do not fit in the dishwasher. Probably the reason that the drawers are bent. Maybe a tip to clean the floor in the shed properly because now you keep walking all the lime on the floor into the house.
Perhaps the above comes across as a bit negative, but it is only intended to make the stay more pleasant for the next person. Finally, I also take the time to write a comprehensive review. Finally, the rental prices are not bad, so that something may be required in terms of comfort.

Bloody hot (36 degrees) inside, the sun was in full swing. No curtain closed, no sunscreen present. It would have been thoughtful that at least the parasol would be placed in front of the glass front for shelter. Now we couldn't put our tired baby in bed after a long journey due to the heat.

The battery was ok. The check in was untidy and was done by someone who had little to no info. On arrival reception was unoccupied. It really took a while before there was iemad.

Beautiful location. Nice beds. Kitchen very complete. More than half an hour walk to the beach. The house was not cool during hot days and only a small umbrella for the terrace. Would definitely bring some for this next time.
