This nice, detached chalet is located in the beautifully designed holiday park Park Westerkogge. Surrounded by greenery, yet only 8 from the pleasant, historic port town of Hoorn.
The single-storey, comfortably furnished chalet features a bright living room thanks to the large windows. The open kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher and a microwave oven. There are two bedrooms with two single box-spring beds each, that may or may not be set up for two people. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
The chalet is surrounded by a lovely garden with a terrace and garden furniture. There's parking for one car at the chalet.
At Park Westerkogge holiday park, various chalets can be booked for four to six people.

Location and surroundings of object
Park Westerkogge is located in the community of Koggenland in the village of Berkhout. Old trees and wide hedges influence the ambience on this holiday park. In addition to the section where the chalets are located, there is a part reserved for campers. The park has many facilities including an open air swimming pool with a kids' pool. You can hire motor boats and electric scooters. The environment is varied: mills, bulb fields, dykes and wide canals surround the area. Do you want to enjoy the relaxation of the water on the park? Hire a canoe, or cast a line. Would you rather get out and about? Only 7 km from the park you will find the Ijsselmeer with a surfing/sailing beach. The charming city of Hoorn, with its lovely marinas, shopping streets and restaurants is easy to reach from Berkhout. Larger cities, such as Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are within a 30 minute drive. Also recommended in the area are the covered swimming paradise in Hoorn, Fairy Tale Wonderland in Enkhuizen, the steam train to Medemblik, the Zuiderzee museum, the Zaanse Schans in Zaandam and the charming coastal towns of Bergen, Egmond and Schoorl.
Park Westerkogge is a watery park located some distance from the charming city of Hoorn. It has various facilities and the IJsselmeer beach is only 7 km away. An ideal destination for a successful holiday!
Construction work will take place at Westerkogge Park until at least 7-8-2020
The accommodation at this holiday park is intended for recreational use. Therefore, it is prohibited to stay at the holiday park for any purpose other than recreation. If it transpires that the purpose of your stay is any other than recreational, you'll be denied access to the park.
If the holiday home has air conditioning, you can use it for € 10.00 per day.

The location is beautiful, quiet and a bit screened to the neighbors. The facility is well maintained and clean, not so crowded. The small swimming pool helped to cool down. Unfortunately you could not 100% on the opening hours of the front desk. The bungalow was basically clean, but cobwebs were not eliminated. On the windows there are no fly windows, which is not so good, if around pure nature is. The equipment with crockery and cutlery could be lush, so that the dishwasher can be used optimally, especially since washing with only one pool is difficult. In the bathroom missing storage facilities for the cosmetics and hooks for the towels. We would come back, with a decent more personal equipment. Family Long

People of reception very friendly and helpful. If you love peace, this park is a must and is also very suitable for fishing lovers. Several nice places nearby like Hoorn and Volendam. The cottages are very clean and modern. We will definitely go back. Wt was a big plus for us, you can actually take two deer here.

Beautiful house with a great layout. Good bedden.De location was disappointing, because it looks like your picture as if the house is very free, when in reality the houses are close together. Especially the low bushes watching the locals easily in each living room. The Internet verbindig (KPN bought card) was just plain bad.

Overall very pleased with our 5 day stay. Spacious cottage, bright and clean situated at the edge of "a channel with the nearest neighbors a couple of great crested grebes brooding. Very quiet location frequented by all sorts of" birds, the swan sparrow through the wild geese. Hoorn, the nearest town, very pleasant, offering all possible services. The rest of the car is essential. We have quite rolled Amsterdam 2 times, Harlingen, Urk, Edam, Marken, Lelystad. Some negatives four days of "Internet as we had paid for 5 (okay, but ...). Separate mattresses in the bed 2 places and the discovery of" a dead mouse in a trap in the closet children's room (unoccupied) at end of stay. Nothing too serious, we recommend this great little corner.

Too bad that there is no snack bar on arrival days, not on Monday. In addition, the restaurant was open on Thursday, while in the leaflet, July and August opened restaurant from Tuesday. The entrance to the park is near the highway. The accommodation was good but not the one we counted on. This was right next to the neighbors on both sides, while the cottage we responded to would have a lot of room compared to other accommodations. If we had known this in advance, we would not have chosen this.

The facility is located in the middle of an agricultural area. Therefore there are many insects in the summer (mosquitoes brakes or wasps). Unfortunately the house had only at a window fly screens, otherwise there was no protection. You need because of the location always a car or a bicycle to do something. When we arrived in the bathroom was dirty laundry and toiletries from the previous tenant. So much for the expensive paid cleaning!
