This nice, detached chalet is located in the beautifully designed holiday park Park Westerkogge. Surrounded by greenery, yet only 8 from the pleasant, historic port town of Hoorn.
The modern, comfortably furnished chalet has a bright living room thanks to the large windows. The open kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher and a microwave oven. There are two bedrooms, one with two single box-spring beds (which may or may not be set up as a double bed) and one with a bunk bed and a single bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.
The chalet is surrounded by a lovely garden with a terrace and garden furniture. There's parking for one car at the chalet.
At Park Westerkogge holiday park, various chalets can be booked for four to six people.

Location and surroundings of object
Park Westerkogge is located in the community of Koggenland in the village of Berkhout. Old trees and wide hedges influence the ambience on this holiday park. In addition to the section where the chalets are located, there is a part reserved for campers. The park has many facilities including an open air swimming pool with a kids' pool. You can hire motor boats and electric scooters. The environment is varied: mills, bulb fields, dykes and wide canals surround the area. Do you want to enjoy the relaxation of the water on the park? Hire a canoe, or cast a line. Would you rather get out and about? Only 7 km from the park you will find the Ijsselmeer with a surfing/sailing beach. The charming city of Hoorn, with its lovely marinas, shopping streets and restaurants is easy to reach from Berkhout. Larger cities, such as Amsterdam, Haarlem and Alkmaar are within a 30 minute drive. Also recommended in the area are the covered swimming paradise in Hoorn, Fairy Tale Wonderland in Enkhuizen, the steam train to Medemblik, the Zuiderzee museum, the Zaanse Schans in Zaandam and the charming coastal towns of Bergen, Egmond and Schoorl.
Park Westerkogge is a watery park located some distance from the charming city of Hoorn. It has various facilities and the IJsselmeer beach is only 7 km away. An ideal destination for a successful holiday!
Construction work will take place at Westerkogge Park until at least 7-8-2020
The accommodation at this holiday park is intended for recreational use. Therefore, it is prohibited to stay at the holiday park for any purpose other than recreation. If it transpires that the purpose of your stay is any other than recreational, you'll be denied access to the park.
If the holiday home has air conditioning, you can use it for € 10.00 per day.
The swimming pool is open from the 1st of May.

It was a nice stay and a beautifully landscaped holiday park. Beautifully "central" but still in a quiet area. The accommodation could have been clean for our taste, you also pay for a final cleaning. The staff were very friendly and checking in and out was quick and easy. All in all we were satisfied it was a nice vacation

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired! The bathroom was clean, but that was the only thing. The bedclothes as well as the mattress protectors were dirty. A mattress protector had a pee stain. You have to see something like that when you make your bed! The furniture was very worn. Broken lampshade in the children's room, the toaster also knocked out the fuse because it was broken. No, we are not petty! I talked to other Germans in the park about it. This family also complained about the cleanliness. 1200 euros for a week in the house, were definitely not worth it and very overpriced. After addressing the receptionist, it was only said that we could have rebooked. Um, thanks for the interview. We're not going to the park anymore!

Super clean and nice house in a beautiful place. For teenagers there is really nothing to do here unfortunately. The environment is beautiful. For the rest Samcity, cinema, Schoorelse dunes also a great day out on Texel. That makes a lot of good. Had a nice full week but I still prefer a holiday park where there are more teenagers. Kids happy parents happy.....

Nice and spacious houses in a quiet and beautifully landscaped park. Very nice for young families but also for people looking for peace and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and plenty to do, very nice!

The chalet is spacious and light. Maintenance and inventory leave something to be desired. The smoke detector was missing. The bed was missing a wheel, which made the legs uneven and therefore the bed was not stable. The dishwasher did not wash the dishes. Probably because of this the crockery and the (few) kitchen utensils were filthy in the cupboard. We chose not to report because our stay was short and we didn't feel like making arrangements. But whoever goes here must therefore take into account deficiencies. Because of the weather and corona, there was nothing to do in the park. We did not come before and enjoyed our holiday together and trips in the area.

Great holiday park and cottage was clean and beautiful views. Not very satisfied with bookings through Belvilla. Booked up to 2x and accepted the alternative offered. It turned out that both houses could not be rented out, so we were told 3 days before departure that our house could not go ahead. Because this was so last minute before the May holidays, a good alternative could not be offered that matched our wishes. Ultimately agreed with the latest offer and had a wonderful holiday.

The reception at the reception was very warm. Very nice staff. We were a little earlier than allowed, but this was no problem. The cottage was fine and fully equipped. The beds were already made. Nice and warm in the house. Chairs and sofas that sit comfortably.

Bit of a sad park, with poor maintenance. Chalets are fairly new but already show significant signs of wear, such as broken laminate flooring, loose curtains and minimal kitchen inventory.We knew about work on the park but nothing was done to keep the roads clean, you were already walking in the mud. Just wiping the road at the end of the day was not an option,

Arrival was good, employees are very friendly.Accommodation is good but deserved some renewal here and there, especially in the bathroom.Environment is very rural with spacious views.Our neighbors were ± 50 sheep.Outside the work now it is a quiet park.

The surroundings were very beautiful, everything was very quiet and in the middle of nature. The accommodation was very nice but not really clean and neglected. The equipment of the accommodation was sufficient, you had everything you need. However, I would have liked that at least all of the spiders and cobwebs in the house in the rooms and inside on the windows had been removed. We didn't use the patio door or didn't open it because the window on the glass door was already very dirty. It would also have been nice if the house had been furnished a little more lovingly (a picture on the wall would have been nice). All in all it was a nice stay, we'd love to come back.
