These detached accommodations in Resort de Rijp are all built in typical Zaandam style.
You can choose from different, comfortably furnished types. The L-shaped, 6-person De Rijp type (NL-1487-03) is very spacious. The Waterland type offers the choice between a 6-person (NL-1487-04) and an 8-person villa (NL-1487-06). The 8-person Marken type (NL-1487-12) has a special design and the house is built on posts by the water. The chalets NL-1487-16 and NL-1487-18 are two 4-person types with similar comfort levels. Are you looking for a modern 6-person chalet with three bedrooms, then the NL-1487-17 is an ideal choice.
All chalets are completely ground level. Each accommodation features a spacious garden and terrace with garden furniture.
There are also various types of detached chalets; from 4-person to 12-person and from basic to luxury.
The pool is closed for maintenance until April. 30th 2022.

Location and surroundings of object
Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland. Though the park is in the middle of the polder, it's just a short distance to major cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar en Zaanstad. The park opened in mid-2012 and offers modern holiday villas, built in the traditional Zaans style characteristic of this part of the Netherlands. You will be able to use the overall facilities, including a covered swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, open-air swimming pool and the bicycle rental. There is more than enough to experience outside the park itself. All you have to do is drive ten minutes away and you will feel yourself transported back to the 17th century. You can discover this 17th-century atmosphere in villages such as De Rijp, Middenbeemster and Driehuizen, and of course at the Zaanse Schans. Be sure to visit the windmills at Schermer as well, which recently underwent a complete restoration. Historic towns and cities such as Hoorn, Volendam and Edam are within easy reach and definitely worth a visit. The IJsselmeer, the North Sea and Holland's beautiful dunes are also easy to reach. Also by bike! Together, the traditional and authentic architectural style, the area's vast amount of water, and the park's central location all form the ingredients that make Resort De Rijp such a great destination. Rural peace and quiet, urban activity and the sense of freedom that the water provides - Resort De Rijp offers all this and more.
Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland, surrounded by lots of water. It is just a short distance to cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Zaanstad. A perfect base for exploring the surroundings, such as the Zaanse Schans, which are rich in history. A modern park with many facilities in true Zaans style.
Use of the tennis court is for a fee.

At first sight a beautiful house but there was so much wrong with it! The leather sofa was so old that you could not sit on it because you would get covered in pieces. We had to put a sheet on it to be able to sit and then the whole house was full of pieces. The shower screen was broken, consisted of 3 parts of which 1 part was already loose in the bathroom when we came and the 2nd part fell out of the rails when you came. The toilet seat was very loose. Every afternoon a sewer smell came up in the master bedroom. The stove turned out to be on during the heat wave so when we got home the 1st evening it was 42 degrees! Everything was immediately passed on on Fri, Sat, Sunday and Wednesday, there was only a response. It had already been promised three times that the technical service would come by. In the end, the shower and toilet were repaired. No more. In addition, we were obliged to pay 55 euros for final cleaning, which is normally optional. There it turned out that we still had to clean the entire house. The lake that would be there was actually just the end of a ditch with a tiny beach. Etc etc. The positive? There was a nice private garden on the water. Nice and quiet.

Upon arrival, we discovered that more had to be paid on site than previously stated. Service, final cleaning and bed linen should be included in the price, but it wasn't. The surprise was great. The bungalow was big enough and really nice but unfortunately not that clean. The whole park was very nice and tidy. You cant complain. You can go shopping or the beach in a few minutes by car. Nice environment.

Beautiful new park with quite a few devices for younger youth. But for older youth there was no more than a (grass) kick field. Shame about the unused space at the location of the glamping part. There, a multi-sports field would have been appropriate (football / basketball).

Nice bungalow. Good clean. Place was right in the middle of the park and still well protected, which benefits privacy. On arrival we smoke a stench that appeared to come from the dishwasher. It turned out afterwards that the cause was that people apparently had run a short program too often. We called the front desk and literally within 5 minutes there was someone to help. In short, the service is great! We look back on a wonderful midweek!

Have been received very nice. The accommodation was very nice and corresponded to the description. Overall, the area was well maintained and nicely laid out. The supermarket was alerdings only a slightly larger kiosk. Unfortunately we had only 2 German TV channels.

Accommodation looked good. However, vacuuming can be better, especially the ceiling was full of spiders and the wardrobe was very dusty. Dishwasher can also use a service, makes a lot of noise. "In the evening there are a lot of rats around. Maybe good to look at it. The cottage was on the water, but then still. Dangerous for children and dogs. Environment was beautiful, we enjoyed.

The reception was friendly. The house was very nice, but not cleaned properly. So we had to spend the first hour cleaning. The house was close to the pool, which was perfect. Unfortunately, almost all neighboring houses were rented to permanent tenants from Eastern Europe who are employed as seasonal workers in Holland. At five in the morning the first went to the shift and talked loudly in front of their houses! In the evening they listened loudly to music in front of their houses and smoked and haunted the other holiday guests. The three washing machines in the system were occupied without interruption by you! Unfortunately, no holiday mood comes up when the neighbors are not on holiday in the holidays, but to work! That does not work in a holiday resort at all.

The house was very old. Unfortunately we didn't notice the mold in the closet until the last day. The floorboards outside were loose so it's very easy to slip on the boards. Some boards were so high that you tripped over them.
