These detached accommodations at Resort de Rijp are all constructed in the traditional Zaan style. You can choose from a variety of comfortably furnished types. The L-shaped, 6-person De Rijp type (NL-1487-03) offers a very spacious layout. The Waterland type is available as a 6-person villa (NL-1487-04) or an 8-person villa (NL-1487-06). The Velthorst type (NL-1487-07) is a single-storey chalet.
Whichever accommodation you choose, you will have a spacious garden and a terrace with garden furniture.
The pool is closed for maintenance until February 17, 2022.

Location and surroundings of object
Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland. Though the park is in the middle of the polder, it's just a short distance to major cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar en Zaanstad. The park opened in mid-2012 and offers modern holiday villas, built in the traditional Zaans style characteristic of this part of the Netherlands. You will be able to use the overall facilities, including a covered swimming pool, tennis courts, playground, open-air swimming pool and the bicycle rental. There is more than enough to experience outside the park itself. All you have to do is drive ten minutes away and you will feel yourself transported back to the 17th century. You can discover this 17th-century atmosphere in villages such as De Rijp, Middenbeemster and Driehuizen, and of course at the Zaanse Schans. Be sure to visit the windmills at Schermer as well, which recently underwent a complete restoration. Historic towns and cities such as Hoorn, Volendam and Edam are within easy reach and definitely worth a visit. The IJsselmeer, the North Sea and Holland's beautiful dunes are also easy to reach. Also by bike! Together, the traditional and authentic architectural style, the area's vast amount of water, and the park's central location all form the ingredients that make Resort De Rijp such a great destination. Rural peace and quiet, urban activity and the sense of freedom that the water provides - Resort De Rijp offers all this and more.
Resort De Rijp is centrally located in the province of North Holland, surrounded by lots of water. It is just a short distance to cities such as Amsterdam, Alkmaar and Zaanstad. A perfect base for exploring the surroundings, such as the Zaanse Schans, which are rich in history. A modern park with many facilities in true Zaans style.

Unfortunately, we had to notice on arrival that the chalet was not cleaned and we could move in later. We stayed for a while somewhere else, when we came back, it was cleaned, the umbrella we left there was gone and a set of linens was missing, which we only got a long discussion handed out. That was a little annoying. The rest of the holiday we have enjoyed most, even if the possibilities in the park are not very large, too few offers.

The signage could be a little better. The key handover was very unproblematic, very friendly & helpful staff. Unfortunately there is no insect repellent, so that all were bitten by mosquitoes. The lack of insulation in the house was extremely warm, a fan would have been great.

Very nice and clean park. Starting point for many walks in nature and at the beach. This was 20 minutes from the park, unfortunately you had to take the ferry across the canal or take a detour in purchasing. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Nice staff at the front desk. Very nice accommodation and very nice park. The only thing we had to complain about, was the all in all rooms the mosquito pegs on the walls. So on holiday do not forget to pack everything against mosquitoes. . It was very nice.

The resort de Rijp is a very nice place with eye for detail. The arrival was easy and fast, staff always friendly and to find the house quickly. This was very clean and equipped with all the important things. The only drawback is the thin walls, can be heard by every word. Anyway, we had a great week there and will definitely return.

The Villa Park De Rijp is located in a nice area but is really strong deviation from the description. Many things that were stated in the offer were either sparsely or not at present. (Washing machines, bike rental, etc.) The outside area in front of the bungalow was full of broken glass and the bungalow was damaged from the outside by an accident. Outside the door, the water of the fence was damaged so that also existed serious security flaws which would have made a stay with children in the bungalow impossible. The rest can be detrimental circumstances of the construction work in the park had a significantly greater extent than in the description so that you felt like on a construction site. Only in the interior of the bungalow there was no reason to accuse except that as I said has been lacking the specified machine. That you will be surprised on arrival by the fact that you have to pay € 217. The reservation states that if applicable, some surcharges still have to be paid on arrival. I understand the deposit and bed linen and tourist tax. Only € 5.69 per night in service costs what is that for and what is done for this.
