This countryside holiday home is in the Herveld region of Guelders in the Netherlands. It can accommodate up to 2 guests and has a single bedroom. It is a perfect destination stay for a couple.
It is surrounded by forests and you can take cycling and hiking trips in the region. You can visit the old city centre of Nijmegen which is only a 20 minute drive away.
There is a relaxing private bubble bath in the bedroom and a heated swimming pool that is shared. Right beside the living room, you will find the the fitness room. The terrace behind the house has a fruit orchard with cherries, apples and raspberries.
The nearest airport to Guelders is Weeze Airport and it is at a distance of 90 KM.
The home owner lives on the same property and some of the amenities are shared.

To recover, this is the ideal place to stay. We were not so bothered by the jacuzzi. Super nice people. (Thanks for the apples and pears we were allowed to pick). Their freshly squeezed apple pear juice is a must.

We were received enormously friendly and enthusiastically upon arrival. The house looked super neat and fully equipped. Located near Nijmegen and Arnhem. We had a wonderful holiday and would recommend it to anyone.

Nice house, quiet area, friendly owner.Jacuzzi buzzing in the bedroom we had no problems with, we just found a soothing sound. A lot of chlorine, but turn on the extractor a few times and this was already solved a lot. What we have overlooked on the site is that the fitness room is also shared. This is not an enclosed space and son or daughter can therefore use this space. They will, however, discuss when they can make use of this. However, we believe that you rent the house for private use and not to share what happens. Price is not dirt cheap, even if it was, you still rent the house for private use and it is quite strange that someone else is in your house. This is how son came to us in his tracksuit while we were still on the couch in our pajamas. We left, but still felt rushed to leave quickly so that our son could enter the house. This was not his intention, but you still get that feeling in yourself. So it is just there, we have overlooked it, but think it is not done. If we knew this, we would not have rented it and we would have looked for a house where not everyone can enter because we are very private, want to move at our own pace and have rented the house for us without wanting to share it. If it was a closed space, it could have been different, but it is open and with your sitting and dining area. Renting out a house is renting out a house and making it fully available to your guests where they can move freely without having to take into account son or daughter who want to stay in it. Furthermore, very friendly people, nice house and beautiful view of the orchard. We had sheep in it which was very nice!

Received on arrival by a friend of the owner since the owner himself was on vacation. Had a great explanation of everything in and around the house. Arrived in a beautiful accommodation where we lacked nothing. Daughter of the owner tried to reach us "in the evening but we had made extensive use of the jacuzzi and the next day on the road so only after two days had contact if everything was satisfactory, which was certainly the case. The first night took some getting used to with a jacuzzi in the room, this one would regularly pump the water around (heating?) but the second night we hadn't noticed this anymore, in the morning a beautiful view of the orchard where several buzzards go and fly again in search of food.The TV is mobile so that you can watch anywhere in the house Good base (for us) to visit cities like Nijmegen or Arnhem Unfortunately not really had cycling weather but I can imagine that it is also good for cyclists starting point is.We can therefore heartily recommend this property.

Great holiday home and a warm welcome from Bea and Kees.Parkplatz directly in front of the house and everything at ground level. Equipment leaves nothing to be desired! Jacuzzi in the bedroom a dream !! If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a first-class holiday home, this is the place for you. Arnhem and Nijmegen each in about 20 minutes to reach. We will gladly come back!

A very nice holiday home overlooking an orchard. The swimming pool is heated (until August). You can use the Jacuzzi almost from the bathroom (for showering beforehand). You can use sports facilities. A mosquito net around the bed protects you at night against annoying flies and possible mosquitoes. The holiday home is located on the property of the very friendly owners who are open to questions. The environment (between the large rivers) is very suitable for taking walks and bike rides In summary: highly recommended.

the house gets very hot in the summer, and because there is no air conditioning, it is actually impossible. the living room does not have good heat protection (curtains or blinds). this also creates a reduced sense of privacy. in addition, the mattresses and pillows really need to be replaced, because you can't actually lie on them normally.
