We had a great time as a family. The house was tidy and clean. Sufficient crockery and various coffee makers. The beds slept well and the nature around it was beautiful! The kids really enjoyed it. 1 small minus is that the house smelled musty. The curtains in the master bedroom have a musty smell, which lingers in the room. The smell was still noticeable after a few days. Tip: replace the curtains or as a guest, bring a house spray ;). But all in all we had a great time.

We had 4 wonderful days in the Veluwse Specht holiday home in Garderen. The house is modern, comfortable and also attractive. The area offers many opportunities for fun day trips such as walking in the woods, visiting nice towns, etc.

the cottage was spacious and the location quiet. All basic necessities were there. Unfortunately, there were also less positive points. House was not clean: dust on the ceiling and walls in various places and mold in the seams of the bathroom. Various things were broken, including: the drawers of the freezer and the light switch in the living room. Furthermore, it was very noisy. Unfortunately.

Very warm welcome by the caretaker. The villa is spacious with a large well-kept garden around it. There is a sauna in the backyard. Everything was clean, a bit old-fashioned, but quite atmospheric. Nice big TV in the living room. 2 attractive bedrooms, one with a good 1.40 meter bed and 1 with a good double bed and plenty of closet space. In the cupboards there were enough chair cushions for the garden chairs. The only minus is the small bedroom with 2 single beds on the 1st floor. This had no door, is in open connection with the living room and it was very hot and stuffy to sleep in despite the window being open and the weather was not really very warm. The inventory in the kitchen was more than adequate, there was even a milk frother for the coffee. The washer, dryer and oven were easy to operate. There are many walking and cycling routes in the area. 2 Supermarkets, bakery and butcher are nearby. Except for that small bedroom upstairs, it is a lovely house to stay in.

Communication with the landlord went extremely smoothly. As a result, we were able to arrive at the cottage almost immediately upon arrival. The cottage itself was also incredibly beautiful and cozy. In addition, it is located in a cozy village in the middle of the Veluwe! The ideal place to unwind.

The spacious garden is fully screened and equipped with a cozy sitting pit and excellent sauna. We have felt fantastic at home here for 4 days. In the living room the fireplace and underfloor heating are very pleasant so early in the spring. We will definitely return here more often!
