Do you want to enjoy the surroundings of the mudflats, do you like peace, nature and water? then this is the perfect home for your vacation to host 6 people in 3 bedrooms. Located in the so-called dark area of National Park Lawersmeer.
Around the corner you will find a beautiful spacious marina where you can rent boats, surfboards or bicycles. You can also bring your own boat to the Lauwersmeer National Park, with lowest pollution-levels, where visitors are welcome to enjoy the darkness and admire the starry sky. You can spot Milky Way, distinguishable on a clear sky night. Pay a visit to the fishing town of Lauwersoog or the Frisian Wadden Island of Schiermonnikoog. The seal nursery in Pieterburen is lovely. In Dokkum, you can go shopping or look at the beautiful old facades. In Veenwouden there is an amusement park where the children can play.

We had a very nice holiday in a house that was really complete.

Arrival was good, the accommodation was exactly as described and as on the pictures. The environment is very nice. You can walk nice at the holiday home, also in the area. A trip to Schiermonnikoog is definitely recommended. Also beautiful places such as Dokkum nearby to view and shop .in the house are also fun games for the children.We look back on a happy holiday.

The owners were already waiting for us the moment we arrived. Very nice. Our accommodation looked very nice. We were with a family of 4 people. Therefore enough space in the house. We had a lot of fun for a week. Beautiful surroundings. Good base. In short. We had a great time.

Nice clean house, fully equipped dishwasher, washing machine. You don't even have screens in the windows very often. Large garden with cushions also sun loungers in the shed. Parasol.Lots of board games. Men's bicycle available. Nice area near 2 restaurants and marina.

The cottage was immediately to our liking. Well cleaned, cozy, modern and fully equipped. Ample crockery and further kitchen inventory in the beautiful sleek kitchen block. Fresh bedding in a slightly small bedroom. The only small downside is that there is little closet space for clothes. So leaving everything in the travel bags for a week, not such a problem for us. A very nice, large, conveniently located garden with div. seats. Nice starting point for many cycling trips. Dokkum and Leeuwarden are nearby. A day trip to Schiermonnikoog or a car trip to Northeast Groningen (including Appingedam, Eems area) through cozy little towns. In short, this great house in a fascinating environment is highly recommended.

Just renovated holiday home, very clean, very practically furnished and really everything is there to celebrate a perfect holiday. Despite Corona and a whole week of rain, we had a wonderful holiday in beautiful Friesland. We will definitely come back and then we will go back to the house of Leo and Akke Geertje. Thanks
