Booking process and the (impossible) contact with Belvilla means that we will never book through Belvilla again. About the cottage: very quietly located, very remote. Terraces with shady spots everywhere, it is nice to stay outside. Great swimming pool. The house itself is in urgent need of a thorough renovation. Old and especially ... musty. Regarding the surroundings: keep in mind that you are in an (interesting) geothermal area. Power plants, towers, and sulfur smell are part of it.

We spent two beautiful weeks together in this holiday home and would come back anytime. The house is located on a wonderfully large property and offers a lot of privacy. There are several cozy seating areas, but we were particularly thrilled with the two spots with the best view: one directly in front of the house with a stunning view and one on the terrace covered with climbing plants, where you can wonderfully relax. Around the beautiful pool, there are also four comfortable loungers available. The entire property is hardly visible – ideal for those seeking peace and relaxation. The pool was a real highlight. Every three days, it was cleaned by a very friendly young man and was always in impeccable condition. The house had everything one needs for a relaxing vacation. We found it particularly positive that after a week, fresh towels, bed linen, and even two new dish towels were provided. Upon our arrival, there were also two bottles of water in the fridge – a nice gesture. The landlady was very attentive without being intrusive. She warned us once via WhatsApp about an announced storm and always responded to questions within a very short time. Otherwise, we were able to enjoy our vacation completely undisturbed. For Italian standards, the house is exceptionally well-maintained and very clean. You can tell that it is well taken care of. A small chuckle was the "tablecloth" mentioned by the landlord, which turned out to be a paper tablecloth – we found that more amusing than bothersome. Small hints for future guests: The available grill was unfortunately rusted and dirty and therefore not usable. In addition, there were no other cleaning supplies besides a small bottle of dish soap and no spices. We know this to be different in many other holiday homes, but it did not significantly affect our vacation. It is also important to know that one should be in good physical condition. The stairs from the bedroom to the ground floor are quite steep, and the terrain is not suitable for people with mobility impairments. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed the peace, privacy, and the lovely pool very much. We would book this holiday home again at any time.

What a wonderful reception by Paola, such a lovely beautiful woman. She gave a beautiful tour of the house and told us where we could shop nearby and where the nicest terraces are. The pool is amazing, a lovely cool dip and then on a sunbed by the pool with a refreshing drink. The place is wonderfully quiet, and if you want to go out, you drive through the beautiful mountains with fantastic views. A lovely place to celebrate a holiday and relax. Paola is always available, but we didn't need her; everything was fantastically arranged. Thank you, Paola, for this fantastic vacation.

We had a lovely stay at Sasso Pisano, its a quiet spot to stay, you'll need a car to get around to the likes of Siena, Grossetto, San G, Volettta and Punta Ala... The villa was lovely, pool was bigger than expected and the kids loved it. Only minor feedback is the shower, which really needs to be thought out a bit more, it was too small for our family of 5... Paola was fantastic in providing responses and information. There's plenty to see if you get up early and go see stuff. Recommend Massa Marratima & Volleta, much better than the other more tourist places. The local Brewery of Vipora di Birra, is worth visiting to drink and eat. Overall, we had a lovely holiday. Maybe also some fans or AC would be a great addition to the villa. Would we stay again, well yes, but not with 3 kids next time

The garden was perfect. The house was certainly not. We had a lot of bad weather and it was not warm, so we also spent a lot of time indoors. The doors close poorly and a lot of cold air comes through. The heating was not allowed to be used before October 15, so we were very cold in the "living room". Fine for the summer if you live outside, but if it gets cold at 4 o'clock, then it is very makeshift in the house. With hard straight chairs and a sagging couch. Little information was given. The lady was very nice, but only spoke Italian. We speak 4 languages, but no Italian. So we did not understand a lot. Very far from civilization. Before you reach a small town with a little more than 4 houses and a church, you are certainly 45-60 minutes away by car. The area is nice for walking, but a shame about those smelly pipes that are everywhere. Beds were very good. Swimming pool is not heated, so it was much too cold to use.

The bathroom is very small, and the shower in it is terrible. The shower is 70cm by 70cm and there is a curtain that always sticks to you when you take a shower. There are also regular odors coming from the bathroom, which are due to a poorly installed drain (when the wind comes from the wrong direction). But if you want to relax and be far from other people, these are not really obstacles.
