What a peaceful retreat! The private pool was perfect for morning dips, and the views of the Tuscan hills were breathtaking, I loved sipping my coffee from the espresso machine while soaking in the scenery, Highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway!

We had a lovely stay at Sasso Pisano, its a quiet spot to stay, you'll need a car to get around to the likes of Siena, Grossetto, San G, Volettta and Punta Ala... The villa was lovely, pool was bigger than expected and the kids loved it. Only minor feedback is the shower, which really needs to be thought out a bit more, it was too small for our family of 5... Paola was fantastic in providing responses and information. There's plenty to see if you get up early and go see stuff. Recommend Massa Marratima & Volleta, much better than the other more tourist places. The local Brewery of Vipora di Birra, is worth visiting to drink and eat. Overall, we had a lovely holiday. Maybe also some fans or AC would be a great addition to the villa. Would we stay again, well yes, but not with 3 kids next time

There are some villages in the area, but to go to a larger supermarket, for example, you have to drive on mountain roads for a while. The owners solve problems quickly and are very friendly.

The sofa bed in the living room is very small and certainly not suitable for two adults. When this has unfolded you are in a pit. Furthermore, had a wonderful time here.

And then the view ... really beautiful, an oasis of peace. The pool was cleaned every other day and it equally deep everywhere (about 1.60) So beware of very small children!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The pet-friendly aspect was a big plus for us, and the nearby nature trails were fantastic for walks. The bed was comfortable, and we appreciated having a microwave for quick meals.

The garden was perfect. The house was certainly not. We had a lot of bad weather and it was not warm, so we also spent a lot of time indoors. The doors close poorly and a lot of cold air comes through. The heating was not allowed to be used before October 15, so we were very cold in the "living room". Fine for the summer if you live outside, but if it gets cold at 4 o'clock, then it is very makeshift in the house. With hard straight chairs and a sagging couch. Little information was given. The lady was very nice, but only spoke Italian. We speak 4 languages, but no Italian. So we did not understand a lot. Very far from civilization. Before you reach a small town with a little more than 4 houses and a church, you are certainly 45-60 minutes away by car. The area is nice for walking, but a shame about those smelly pipes that are everywhere. Beds were very good. Swimming pool is not heated, so it was much too cold to use.

A charming retreat! The views from the garden were breathtaking, especially at sunset. We loved the cozy living room and the spacious dining table for family meals. Perfect for a quiet getaway.

Small but nice holiday home. Everything necessary is present, although it is certainly open to improvement. For example, the reception of the wifi is minimal. The bathroom is very small, and the shower in it is terrible. The shower is 70cm by 70cm and there is a curtain that always sticks to you when you take a shower. There are also regular odors coming from the bathroom, which are due to a poorly installed drain (when the wind comes from the wrong direction). But if you want to relax and be far from other people, these are not really obstacles.
