Description

You will find a typical, fully renovated Tuscan farmhouse, composed of the owner’s part and two comfortably furnished apartments for our guests. Outside, there is a lot of space for relaxing, with swimming pool, track for bowls, barbecue, pizza oven, big stones that serve as tables and seats, with a panoramic view over the Val di Cornia until the sea and the Island of Elba.
Our guests appreciate San Guglielmo's friendly atmosphere and warm, sincere hospitality. The quietness, the splendid nature and our genuine products will ensure unforgettable holidays.

The APARTMENT EUCALIPTO of 42 sqm is located on the upper floor and is suitable for two adults and one child. It is composed of:
-living room with kitchen corner and sofa bed
-double bed room
-bathroom and anteroom with wardrobe
The apartment is heated with hot air.
In front of the entrance, there is a loggia with table and chairs for your exclusive use, next to a huge eucalyptus tree.

Location and surroundings of object

Our farm is located in a peaceful area over the Cornia Valley, between Volterra, Massa Marittima, Cecina and Follonica, nearby the hamlet of Lagoni Rossi in the municipality of Pomarance. The nearest village is Lustignano (7km), a nice medieval place with shopping facility, post office and restaurant.
Part of our land that embraces 28 ha is cultivated with fruit- and olive-trees, and a good part, covered with wood and typical mediterranean scrub with a rich fauna, invites to be explored.
San Guglielmo is an ideal starting point for visiting localities with touristic, historical and cultural interest, as well as the geothermal areas around Larderello. Nature reserves, archeological parks and beautiful beaches are easy to reach. In the nearby villages that have preserved their original characteristics you will find excellent restaurants with typical Tuscan cuisine and delicious wines. We are surrounded by renowned wine-growing regions.

A Tuscan Paradise

We felt completely at home! The flat, the surroundings, the landlords: everything was extraordinary! If you are looking for peace and quiet, Monika and Christian are the best people to stay with :)

Wonderful!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday for a week, it doesn't get any better than this! If you are looking for peace and nature, Monika and Christian are the right people for you. We had the Eucalyptus flat, perfect for a couple!
They are always there for you, but never intrusive, we felt very comfortable.
The flat is super clean and above all everything is there, really everything!
We will definitely be back! Thank you both so much! and Lex!! :)

Pure deceleration

Yes, the serpentine paths to this unique agritourism are long and this wonderful place is not suitable for classic Tuscany "tick tourism" (San Gimingnano today, Siena tomorrow and Grossetto the day after!). But if you are looking for that rare harmony of impressive solitude, unspoilt nature, stunning views with perfect living and warm hospitality, this is the place for you.
We found our perfect mix in varied days on the one hand "on the road", e.g. to the Maremma beach, to the small but worth seeing places like Sassetta, Suvereto and Populonia (60 - 90 minutes each), but on the other hand exploring on site (with the well-behaved "Lex"), resting, dozing, reading at the swimming pool, talking with Monika and Christian as well as other guests - and looking forward to making pizza together.
After almost two weeks (end of September to beginning of October) of pampering in the sun, it was really hard to say goodbye to this extraordinary place.

Vacation rental Eucalipto

The holiday apartment is very clean, well-maintained and cozy. A highlight is the pizza evening. Monika and Christian are very friendly landlords and hosts. Ideal for a peaceful and relaxed vacation. There are many attractions and small cozy places in the area.

Thank you for a great vacation week!

Very clean, well-equipped and tastefully furnished holiday apartment. There were even spices, coffee, sugar, etc., as well as samples of olive oil and jam from their own production. Monika and Christian are very warm hosts with whom we felt comfortable immediately. The pizza evening under the starry sky was beautiful. Since the house is quite remote, you have to expect longer driving times.

Monika and Christian are very kind people. Every morning or after an excursion, the sweet Labrador Lex is eagerly wagging his tail.
The house is equipped with all comforts, perfectly finished, and immaculate, we have never found it so clean!
The geothermal energy in the region is very interesting, and there is total peace when you are on the property, far away from traffic and other noises. Therefore, it is very secluded, but this can also be seen as a plus for those seeking tranquility. Your car has sufficient ground clearance, low suspension is undesirable here.

Beautiful holiday apartment in a very quiet location.

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Monika and Christian's place. Here you can really let your soul unwind and live day by day. (Even with a child)
It is beautifully located away from the hustle and bustle. The gravel road leading to the house is an adventure, but it's worth it. We were here with our 7-month-old daughter and it was truly wonderful.
Monika and Christian always have great advice and are open to all questions.
We can really only recommend this vacation rental. The equipment is more than enough. Spices, herbs, sugar, salt, everything is there. Even dish soap and dishwasher tabs are included in the service. Thank you again!
If you want it quiet, you should come here. Siena, Florence, and Pisa are not far away and can be easily reached by car.
We look forward to seeing you again soon!
Oh, and Lex, the house watchdog, is truly a reliable and loyal companion!

Idyllic holiday apartment with incredible views

We stayed with Monika and Christian for a week and were thrilled. The two are incredibly warm-hearted people who want to make your holiday as pleasant as possible. Their dog Lex immediately wins your heart and always greets you joyfully. In the holiday apartment, everything is available in terms of furniture and beyond (e.g. spices, herbs from the garden, sugar, flour, etc.). The view from the property is outstanding, and we could even see the sea. The house features a small swimming pool with enough sunbeds, a bocce court, barbecue area, and plenty of greenery. We took trips from there to the sea, Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, and Siena. However, it is a bit of a drive since the house is very isolated and winding roads make the trips longer. Those looking for a relaxing, peaceful vacation with lots of nature should definitely go to Monika and Christian!

A gem in nature, abundance, and harmony

It was a wonderful 10 days in October 2014 with relaxation, switching off, enjoying, being outdoors, and leaving the world behind. Delightful and highly recommended if you desire a loving, discreet atmosphere. The views and opportunities are very diverse away from beaten tourist paths, but a car is essential - geothermal energy, beaches, coves, Etruscans, small villages and towns, chirping crickets, pizza of a special kind, and an exceptionally long-lasting summer in October.

Very nicely situated little house with very nice landlords! :)

If you like it quiet, this house is perfectly located. You have a beautiful view all around the house! There are nice little paths for walking, and if it gets too hot, the pool is very pleasant.
The house is equipped with top-quality amenities. Especially in the kitchen, there is a lot of accessories and spices available. The landlords are always there for you and very warm!
It was beautiful!!! Very romantic as a couple :)

Vicinity of the holiday home: Es dauert etwas bis zum nächsten Ort aber wer es ruhig mag und nicht jeden Tag Trubel braucht, ist hier genau richtig.

A wonderful vacation!

If you are looking for peace and relaxation away from mass tourism in Tuscany, this is the right place for you. Even though the beautifully restored house is somewhat secluded, staying here is very worthwhile and highly recommended. The landlords are very warm and helpful. You immediately feel welcome and comfortable here.
We will definitely come back! :-)

free time activities: Von Strandurlaub über Kultur und Sightseeing ist alles innerhalb von 45-60min. erreichbar.

shopping facilities: Nachdem das Haus alleine steht sind die Möglichkeiten des Einkauf beschränkt, aber auf dem Rückweg von Ausflügen gibt es genug Möglichkeiten.Weiters können Olivenöl und Wein direkt bei den Vermietern bezogen werden.

Great accommodation with very nice and helpful landlords. The apartment has everything you need and is pleasantly spacious and modernly furnished.

The house is very quiet and secluded. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you! Since we did a lot of trips by car, we will not give full points here - it takes a while to reach your destination. But still within a reasonable range. We highly recommend Agriturismo San Guglielmo to everyone! It was a very nice holiday with very kind landlords - thank you once again for the great pizza evening :-)

shopping facilities: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind einige Kilometer entfernt. Supermärkte sind dann aber gut ausgeschildert.

Rest and relaxation pure!

If you are looking for true peace and friendly hosts of a beautiful holiday apartment in an idyllic location, far away from stress and hustle, then go to Christian and Monika. Have breakfast on a shady terrace under the eucalyptus tree, relax with a good book (plenty available) in one of the many loungers in the shade of the fragrant fig tree. Or play a game of Boule. The always clean pool ensures refreshment. In the evening, listening to the crickets chirping and looking at the starry sky with a good glass of wine... wonderful.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Sanfte Hügellandschaften soweit das Auge reicht. Bei klarem Wetter hat man Sicht bis auf Elba. Wenn es nicht so heiß ist, sicher auch reizvoll für Mountainbiker. Man sollte sich nicht von den Kühltürmen und Pipelines der Geothermica stören lassen, die ab und an in der Landschaft auftauchen. Die haben ihren Nutzen für die Bewohner der Orte ringsum.

free time activities: Da etwas abgelegen, muss man schon etwas Fahrzeit mit dem Auto in Kauf nehmen. Aber es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall die kleineren Orte in der Umgebung zu besuchen. Da war jeden Abend irgendwo ein Konzert(La Strada Musica) oder Dorffest zu finden.

shopping facilities: Nächster kleiner Krämerladen in Lustignano, nächster kleiner Supermarkt etwas weiter in Serazzano. Am besten man kauft gründlich ein, wenn man in einem der größeren Städte unterwegs ist. Und wenn doch mal was fehlt...Christian und Monika helfen gern mal aus.

Impressive for connoisseurs

We have been going to San Guglielmo for several years because we love and appreciate the seclusion and the special friendliness of Monika and Christian. Great agriturismo for connoisseurs.
5 stars for the surroundings, developed hiking trails on the doorstep. Thanks for the tip Ansedonia/Orbetello lagoon absolutely worth seeing.

I am Swiss and living in Tuscany for 36 years. Here I have beaten my roots here I feel at home. 14 years ago I came the first time to this place. I was overwhelmed by the vastness, the untouched nature and the wonderful tranquility.
