Lovely holiday experienced in this amazing stylish house which ontbrak.Ook to none reception was great, the owner had put fresh flowers waiting for us on the table were delicious home-picked grapes. We were shown around and provided information about the area. If there was something we could always bellen.Het her house is located in a beautiful village where time has stood still, so it really lacks nothing particularly fascinerend.Een absolute must! The problem is related to the water pressure has been solved, to enjoy a perfect holiday.

We have two very nice weeks in this house. Very special, which decoration with fresco "s! That makes it very cheerful. The house is more comfortable, and it is situated in a quiet medieval village perched on a hill. We liked that there was a restaurant within walking distance of the village . A surprise was the delicious mineral water that you can tap at the entrance of the village! In the house are three bottles before. From Montecastelli you can easily get to San Gimignano, Siena, Lucca and Massa Maritima and so on. A special outing is the museum of the Enel power plant in Larderello, where they generate green power using the steam coming up from the ground. Hiking in the area of Monte Castelli is also possible, there are marked trails from the village but which are unfortunately not so well maintained. But all in all highly recommended, both the environment and the house zelf.Eveline and Marcel

If you want to make very authentic in a medieval village on top of a hill surrounded by Tuscan holiday, it's no wonder! Montecastelli Pisano is not at all touristy, but a village that is quite normal inhabited by its inhabitants. There is no single charging and therefore no tourist shop. Perfect! The nearest supermarket can be reached in 20 minutes by car. So organization is announced. In the village there is a bar (which is not to be confused with a nightclub), in which one real (!) Gets cappuccino and pizza and other dishes. The prices are more than acceptable. The people in the village are very friendly and daytime, in principle, not really seeing (as in winter, we do not know). And since we are already talking about the single little drawback as a day for several hours Siesta is middle maintained, life goes in the village against 20 clock with cooking los only. Then you meet in the streets of the village to talk. Young and old spend time together, it is talked, laughed, played ball. This is only possibly be a problem if you have your bedroom window to a busy street so also and actually in the evening after German philistine nature g

The entry has been a big surprise. The beauty of the apartment with the restored fresco 's not in photo' s capture. It is located in a quiet village which is the perfect base for visiting towns or countryside. The landlady is very friendly and welcoming, like many villagers. Recommended for holidaymakers seeking tranquility in beautiful surroundings.

After a beautiful drive as "one and a half hours from Pisa Airport by the Tuscan countryside, we arrived in Monte Pisano, a beautiful medieval hilltop village. Arriving at the house, right in the village, we were welcomed by the hostess. After us through the house (with stunning views over the hills) guided to do, including stories about the history and also the restoration of the magnificent fresco "on the walls, they took us on a short tour of the village. From our house we have in the week that we were taken several walks through the beautiful surroundings and we went to Siena, San Gimignano (recommended!) And drove the Mediterranean coast. Everything is riding Monte Pisano within a half hour and therefore ideal for a (mid) day out. We enjoyed and can not be otherwise than the cottage wholeheartedly recommend!

We had five wonderful days at this luxury apartment. Large, nicely decorated and clean. The village, situated on a hilltop, is wonderful. The authentic old houses and narrow streets it breathes quite a medieval atmosphere. Having a car was casa affreschi the perfect base for day trips to places like Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano (45 minutes to 1 hour away). We felt like a king in this palace.

For those who are looking for peace in picturesque surroundings, Monte Castelli - and especially this idyllic apartment - the ideal place. The apartment, suitable for up to two people is beautifully painted and the house furnished according stylish. There was nothing missing. The owner (the lady of the house speaks German) are very, very friendly and helpful. It was nice to feel the love with which decorated the apartment and has been fitted. A grocery store while there are none in the village, it can be 14 km from the grocery store very good buy. The many attractions in the area, with San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena are relatively easy to reach by car, also in the arts and culture lovers meet. Conclusion of the leave he was enjoyment and relaxation.

Montecasteli Pisano is located in a surprising piece of non-touristy Tuscany with a medieval appearance and beautiful vistas. Casa Afreschi is this atmosphere further put through a classic interior, beautiful murals and equipped with all modern conveniences. The shower room is rather small but again beautifully decorated and fully equipped. A small patio offers space to relax outside under a pergola with grape, often accompanied by classical music from the auditorium. A great base for bikers and culture-.

We stayed for 10 nights in Casa Affreschi. The old house was restored to retain its authentic atmosphere with frescos on the wall. The house was located in a small and quiet village. The living and bedroom was most comfortable. The bathroom was a little bit small, especially for tall people, however it contributed to the authenticity of the house. We enjoyed walking in the environment and we loved the panoramic views on the hills.

This house is in a wonderfull village. It is very peacefull and lovely. Across the house is a auditorium Where They played the violin. The house it self is very big and Has A lot of space. The furniture is verry nice and there's a nice mattress on the bed. The owner, Nedda, is very kind and forthcoming.

This village house has been completely refurbished with great care and taste. The frescoes on the walls give awkward an extra dimension to the living space. From the living room there is a fairly good view of the area. The sheltered patio at the entrance gives enough privacy. The communication with the owner is easy because she speaks Good English and German, emphasizes that this house is only suitable for people who are reasonably fit and well-behaved. Everything in the house is even ground, but the access extends through various stairs and the car can not be near the house Are parked.
Petrus van Kippersluis
Great place, very authentic in a very quiet and picturesque village (250 inhabitants). The owner of the house was very nice and helpful. Perfect for a quiet week ok Tuscany with possibilities of visiting Siena, Florence and other cities.
