Independent Tuscan farmhouse in the open countryside where you can have absolute privacy , with a view over the Garfagnana valley and the splendid Apuan Alps. The farmhouse is located about 700 m from the medieval village of Castiglione di Garfagnana.
The home is 0.5 km from the town center. Restaurants are 4 km from the home, and nightlife closer at 2 km. There is also a public swimming pool 5 km from the home and a lake 6 km away. The sea is 40 km from here and there is a ski lift and cross country 15 km and 20 km from the home.
The home has a well-equipped kitchen and barbecue, as well as a TV and DVD player. For winter nights, use the central heating, chargeable at € 35/night. The private garden is perfect for relaxing. Great Family house, beautiful peaceful rural area. Just note that address is not recognized in google maps and car navigation. Make sure you arrive before darkness -)

On arrival friendly and neat and clean huis.Omgeving fantastically beautiful, the distance to the sea was far 1.5 hours rijden.Huis is very well equipped.

On July 16, 2016, we were warmly received by the owner at the house. After a short search, because the house was a turn south than did surmise the map coordinates. But with help from a most charming Tuscan we were at the place of destination. The area is more than beautiful. Two weeks at Casa Liana Castiglione di Garfagnana. Delicious enjoyed the many trips in the area, the old Florence, the town of Lucca, Pisa tower, coastal and marble town of Forte dei Marmi and the five villages (Cinque Terre). There is also plenty to do. You do have to drive, the coast an hour, Lucca one hour. But you get a lot of peace in return.

House was not easily accessible because of a long but mostly steep driveway. Once there the view was breathtaking. Wonderful house and nice, cozy ingericht.Mooie walking in the neighborhood and village within walking distance. Recommended for wandelliefhebber.Huis was big enough and the location as mentioned, was prachtig.De owner in case of emergency and any questions, willing to help you.

Very cozy cottage on beautiful location. Decorated with beautiful antique furniture and a few comfortable couches. All mod cons and an hour drive from Lucca. We have enjoyed it immensely!

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the proprietor and we immediately looked out for the beauty and size of the house. The house was decorated in a typical old Italian style and had a very large garden with plenty of good garden chairs, a ping pong table and especially a beautiful view! The house itself was very clean and all the rooms were very spacious not only the bedrooms but also the bathrooms, the kitchen, the living areas. Certainly big enough for a group of 10 people. In location, the house was beautifully situated and ideal for excursions, visits to towns and so on. It is very quietly located near typical Italian villages. Highly recommended!

Het huis ligt net buiten het plaatsje en wordt niet door anderen bewoond. De ligging is niet heel afgelegen, maar wel heel rustig aan het eind van een relatief lange oprit. Heel mooi uitzicht vanuit de tuin op de omgeving. Wij vonden de stille ligging wel iets om aan te wennen, met name 's avonds en 's nachts. Veel gewandeld in de omgeving. Omgeving is bergachtig, dus fietsen is voor de geoefende fietser of maak gebruik van een elektrisch ondersteunde fiets. Geen grote plaatsen in de directe omgeving. Vanaf Aulla is het nog wel 1 1/2 tot 2 uur rijden naar Castiglione di Garfagnana.

Upon our arrival c "was duly Alessandra, the owner very nice and helpful. A beautiful country house, very big, with everything and clean. Outside a breathtaking view and a starry night sky to excite. Since the period (December) despite a time more than gracious, we could not fully enjoy the garden. I can only imagine how beautiful al fresco dining "opened under the gazebo. Thanks Alessandra)

The accommodation was beautiful. It is a beautiful house located in a beautiful environment. You can enjoy hiking and the trails are well found. There are beautiful cities to view such as Lucca. And also an impressive cave to visit.
