The house is part of a property consisting of two adjoining flats. the flats have exclusive access to a fenced garden but communicating with each other. the company is located at the gates of the "Apuane Park" at 550 meters of altitude with an excellent view over the garfagnana. a few minutes from the structure are the famous "caves of the wind" and nearby and 'can visit the most' characteristic villages of the garfagnana.
This property in Fabbriche di Vergemo is only 2 km from a lake to offer you some solitude and lets you enjoy long walks and some time for introspection and contemplation. You will find supermarkets only 9 km away, in case you want to purchase essentials and groceries and there are restaurants also 4 km away for enjoying local cuisines.

We have had a wonderful week in Boccabugia del Colle. An apartment, 7 km in the mountains (Alpi Apuane). It is a somewhat narrow winding road, so if you do not like driving in the mountains, then you should take this into account. A stack of books in the big supermarket in the town right down strike of Italian delicacies so you can cook on top of the mountain in the kitchen or on the BBQ that is available. Lucca is of course a beautiful city that you should definitely visit if you're in the area (nice bikes and walk) but also Barga we found surprisingly beautiful. A walk to the nearby monastery is also recommended (but quite climbing!) Owners are very friendly. Jar of honey on arrival, homemade chestnut cake on the garden table after a day of hiking. So you can enjoy the true hospitality Tuscany!
