Van der Wal
We rented a house from Belvilla (https://www.belvilla.nl/it/100015814/) from August 5 to 26, which was not in accordance with the offer on the Belvilla website. After 1500 km. We arrived at the house in Migliorini (La Loggia) on Monday, August 7. We arrived two days later because of our travel schedule. Upon our arrival, the house had clearly not been cleaned and various items were broken, such as heavily bent beds, a missing window (!) glass, wall sockets attached to the shore with sellotape, etc. But also household appliances that were very dirty with mold such as the washing machine, refrigerator and water taps. The pool was very unsanitary with again mold, greenish water and quite an extensive family of frogs.
Upon arrival, I asked the owner to clean the apartment and repair the items that were broken. The owner refused. He claimed that the apartment was antique and that the condition of the apartment was in keeping with what would be expected of an antique house. It was indeed an antique house, but also very dirty and not in a condition to enjoy in a safe manner. We informed the owner that we would not be staying at La Loggia in its current state. I immediately called the SOS Bellvilla number to inform Belvilla of the conversation we had with the owner. We arranged a nearby Bed & Breakfast to stay for 2 nights so the owner could clean the apartment and pool and repair what was broken.
After two days on Wednesday August 9, I contacted SOS Belvilla customer service and they assured me that the owner cleaned the house and the pool. We went back to La Loggia and were surprised to find the apartment in exactly the same way as we encountered it on the previous Monday. Nothing was cleaned or repaired, neither the house nor the pool. I contacted you again immediately

accommodation was fantastic, everything was there and we were helped very well by the owner. The only thing that we found a downside was that the mattresses and pillow were a little too old and too hard ... The area was super beautiful.

Nice cool under the trees in the mountains while it was 10 ° warmer in the valley. Also super house, super host (who provided a lot of useful information on arrival about sightseeing in the area). In the lower-lying Piteglio, every evening, almost a thick atmosphere with performances. Only the mountain trip down with more than 100 spicy bends made the children occasionally silly, ...

Access to Migliorini was hard to find. The village is set in the wooded hills. Upon arrival, we could not drive straight through the narrow bumpy steep roads uphill. The owner had already been there and led us around the cottage and told us about the area.

Borgo Migliorini is nothing short of a magical place. An hidden gem tucked away in the beatiful Abetone mountain, it provided a marvellous frame for our wedding which we hosted here in mid-June. Blessed by fabulous weather, our guests raved about their stay in this cabin and were just mesmerized by the beauty of it all. The cabins are built with ex-novo materials salvaged by the hamlet's owner, who descends from a long line of illustrious artists and put his very soul in the restoration of this hamlet by scattering pieces made by his ancestors over the centuries. If you are not too fussy about things being polished, are a nature lover and rustic is your style, look no further. Great value for money.

The arrival was perfectly arranged. Manager was waiting after phone call with key and had plenty of time to explain what that was already doing. House is an old Italian house. The house is spacious and cozy. Be old and not equally clean. The washing machine did not. But who wants to experience the feeling of an old villa in Italy is a great opportunity. The pool was cleaned every day. Water is very cold because the sun does not come through the trees. The beds are very old and the mattresses hang on.
