After a warm and friendly welcome from Fabio we walk into a very nice cabin. It has a great view during the day. You want to find your cabin in a small village surrounded by silence and a very good local pizzeria.

Frenzied location and a very nice authentic home! In particular, the device could enjoy our approval. Environment is superb and the views breathtaking. Fabio, the administrator / owner is present on a regular basis but never bothersome. Is very helpful, very friendly and many a cup of coffee is drunk together. Peace and privacy are guaranteed even if several parts of the house rented. The plot is big enough and partly due to the various terraces on different levels can always be found. Privacy The house is a bit difficult to find, partly because the address was not in our navigation to house number 108. In our navigation the street was different. Fortunately there are always friendly locals you just want to drive so you still come to the place of destination.

What a great location! Hours spent staring at the mountains and the valley. At the dawn of the twilight the view is just as magical. The drive to the house from Pietrabuona is an experience, but it is possible to reach Via Pietrabuona on the left, following the sign of San Quirico via a sloping climb over moderate road or the slightly longer route on the right via Castelvecchio. The last 100 meters to the house is a descending gravel road with 5 crossing beams (due to rainwater drainage) and low cars can make it difficult, but we can not park it. The landlord speaks some English, is very hospitable, thoughtful, even helped with unwrapping, happy tips and advice, and is regularly present on the spacious grounds for the maintenance of, among other things, the garden that looks beautiful. Is divided into 3 different apartments and the walls are somewhat rustic but we had Dutch neighbors where we could get along. Day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Montecatini Terme and the beach (tip go to Lerici) are one hour to one and a half hours Driving but very good and these trips are worth the effort, but also the castle villages like San Quirico and Castelvecchio are worth the visit! We had the middle apartment and it was on Bid for pots, pans and crockery was adequate. The fridge cools very well and upon our request in advance it was no effort to put an extra cot in the room. From the veranda we had a view of the mountains and the valley. This was Italy's experience at its purest and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Located in the hills above Pescia super quiet, at some distance from larger cities like Florence, but close to Lukka at manageable distance from Cinque Terre .... Very nice accomodatie..blijkbaar quite different sizes of accommodation (we had with a family with 2 children) the middle of the 3 cottages was fine (very large living room - kitchen, master bedroom ... which we have shared with us four (the other option was to take the seat in the living room but ... The bedroom was more than spacious enough for 4 and thus more fun) .Fabio was fine host. with immediate response questions, with much knowledge of the streek.Zwembad is not very big (I guess 3 * 4m, sometimes with fresh water .. .but enough for lots of fun at our kits (7 and 9j). Fresh seen in the hills and saw the bathing water is continuously refreshed by fresh spring water) .Zeker recommended if you like peace and not think too much at first 20min off drop to the valley to do some shopping larger there (supermarket) and to make cultural excursions.

The house we have experienced fantastic as well as the environment. Not been spoiled by tourism. Within a reasonable distance from Lucca and Florence. Each morning we had a visit from a deer family. The whole thing is pretty basic (eg no wifi.) But found no probleem.Aanrader's restaurant Da Karla Castlelvecchio. Tasty Italian .Onverharde wegproblematiek we find geneuzel-)

After 10 minutes drive from Pescia hairpin bends to get through a steep path to the house. As "a house that, if you touring on narrow mountain roads, sometimes on a mountain pasted see and which you're wondering who's in hell to live. Well you! Nicely refurbished retaining the rustic look. Large terraced land where you from your terrace a magnificent view over the valley dotted with small villages on the slopes to build. Wonderful! Owner was very helpful and provides some explanations for the environment. An excellent restaurant within walking distance, a flashlight because it is "pitch-dark night and the roads are very smal.We have entertained us very well and from there cities like Pisa, Pistoya, Lucca (recommended) and Florence visited.

If Burgundian and Flemish critical we were pleasantly surprised with our stay at gli Olivi. First time for us in the cottage, after years 4 and 5 star hotels, so good value for money. Wonderful that freedom and peace, no obligations, all present to enjoy a quiet and sunny holiday! A bit hard to find as not indicated before with signs. Good reception by Fabio, reasonably clean house (but we're very critical), pool little disappointment is more a natural reservoir, so you should not be afraid of a bug or leaf groen.Ideaal for all kinds of excursions, beautiful nature, less recommended for people with walking difficulties.

We are 2 weeks in Gli Olivi been and enjoyed the peace, space and beautiful surroundings. The house is very authentic and basic furnishings. You feel that you have a bit of going back in time. There is no radio or TV available in and around the house you do not reach your mobile phone. Only in Pescia, we could again receive messages or calls. The owner Fabio is very friendly and does everything to stay enjoyable. He regularly put fresh roses or lavender in a vase, he contracted coffee for us and he Tuscan biscuits. From the terrace you have stunning views of the surrounding mountain villages. Near the house is a large cherry tree, where every day we have delicious cherries picked. Behind the house are bees greenhouses, giving you all day hear the hum of bees. The distance to Pescia, we found still disappointing (13 km). Since this is the nearest place to go shopping, you should still regularly with the car that way. The road to it is winding and occasionally confusing, so you often have to honk to let them know that you are coming. All in all we enjoyed the peace, privacy and natural beauty.

We were two of us in the May holiday to this beautiful peaceful place. Because it was off season we had a lot of place. Authentic house with a lovely bedroom and nice bed. If the weather is bad it can cool down quickly. From the terrace beautiful views of the mountains and villages. Authentic villages and friendly some retired people. Stores not around. 11 kilometers further on.

Of these beautiful natural location visited the cities of Pescia, Florance, Lucca, and Pisa. To the extent that it was possible made beautiful walks, hiking trails are not bad or indicated herein is still a lot to improve. Once the landscape falls came from the valley into the valley against many buildings. Friendly guest Mr.

The house was not so easy to find. The owner did help. Very fine, authentic location. Cookware could as is often better. Beautiful environment. Nature is overwhelming. And very well located for day trips to the Tuscan highlights.

We got a fantastic stay in San Quirico. Superb view over the valley, very neat house, pleasant neighbors and Fabio is a fantastic ghost. Not at all touristic. Very authentic. Just pity that the paper museum of Pietrabuena was closed the entire month of August.
