We had a lovely two week stay at villa Thymari. The house is private located and surrounded by a beautiful garden and swimming pool overlooking the bay of Plakias. Kitchen needs an update.We will treasure our statements of our breakfasts at the front porch planning our trips or the days generalized small beaches are in the vicinety, the most impressive of course Preveli beach. Plakias is a very friendly town with good restaurants.We would love to come back someday ...

A beautiful, well-equipped house in a stunning location - wonderful views, especially lovely watching the spectacular sunsets over the sea from one of the terraces. The owner was charming and hospitable and I can commend this house to anyone who appreciates a "home from home" feel in the most glorious mountain setting - the photographs don't do it justice ! The location is quiet, on an un-surfaced road (about 200m from the nearest made road) but only 10 minutes drive from Plakias where there are bars, restaurants and several small supermarkets - it's not suitable for serious party animals.

Villa Thymari is beautiful. A house with lots of seating, a nice pool and mature garden with shady nooks. The house is equipped with all facilities including everything there is 1 x per week cleaning and all linen and towels are fine. There is also free satellite internet. The host is a true "gentlemen" who has a lot of fun for our guests to feel at ease. In the area there is plenty to do, swimming, climbing, archeology, etc. We were there in May and had a wonderful holiday with great weather and lots of sun (22-26 degrees). Just make sure you have a car otherwise you have to walk a lot.
