Description
Twin Asomatos is situated between the two mountain villages of Mariou and Asomatos on a parallel road above the main road. The road here is not tarred, but is easily passable. The road has recently been levelled.
To Asomatos and also to Mariou it is only 2-3 minutes by car. Down to Plakias, where there are supermarkets, tavernas, a doctor, etc., it takes about 10 minutes by car. In short, everything is within easy reach.
To different beaches (Amoudi, Damnoni, Plakias, Skinaria etc.) you also need less than 10 minutes.
The house is situated on a plot of about 6000 square metres with a great old tree population on the slope and offers a great view of Plakias as well as Damnoni bay. You can even see as far as Preveli Bay.
There is another house on the property, exactly the same as the one we live in. The houses are separated from each other, so that one does not disturb the other.
The house has a very large car park. On the ground floor there is a large living area with terrace, wood stove and TV, as well as a large kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet and a storage room with washing machine.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms for 2 persons each and also a bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a balcony with a magnificent view.
An extra bed offers another place to sleep.
For guests who come to Crete in winter, an outdoor sauna can also be used.

Location and surroundings of object
The area is excellent to explore by e-bike, which you can rent here in the village. Hikers will be thrilled by the nearby gorges. There are wonderful hiking trails along the bays around Plakias.
In the surrounding mountain villages you will find small family-run tavernas that take you back in time. Everything served there is home-grown. Unbeatable in delicacy, traditional cuisine with the hospitable Greeks make the trip an unforgettable experience...
Plakias has a little more tourist tam to offer. A simple, peaceful and lively town with a beautiful beach, tavernas right on the water, beach bars for the classic sundowner by the sea and live music. The town, until now known as an insider tip, is coming to life!
The distance to the two airports (Heraklion and Chania) is the same.

pure recreation
We were there at the end of the season and had a wonderful time, the weather was perfect, the beaches and restaurants weren't overcrowded anymore, we could simply enjoy the time, switch off and recharge our batteries to face the "miserable weather" in Germany in November. The accommodation is lovingly furnished, so you immediately feel at home, everything you need is provided. The hosts are helpful and warm. Thank you for the great time!

Wonderful - gladly again!
Sea view from the hammock or the cozy daybed in the romantic garden, cicadas and grazing flocks of sheep, otherwise silence. And yet you can quickly reach the next villages, taverns or beach bays by car. There is a lot to see, larger cities, markets, everything reachable as a day trip.
The two twins are very well equipped, the landladies very hospitable, warm and always available for tips and assistance.
Great for two friendly families: rent both houses at the same time -> For us, it was days in paradise!

Very nice holiday home complex
Very beautiful holiday home with a lovely view of the sea. Everything you need for a vacation is available in the house. Nearby are nice cozy taverns that can be reached in a few minutes by car. Always worth a trip, we will gladly come back.

The location of the house is really fantastic. If you want to, you have absolute privacy here. If you want to see or hear more, all possibilities are within a short distance.
