This charming French holiday home with private swimming pool with Roman steps and springboard is located between Cazals and Villefranche du Périgord. The tennis court is shared with the tenants of one other house (no visual contact and beyond hearing distance). The house is spacious with large bedrooms and a separate dining room besides the dining area. The house features fibre optic cable, so there is super-fast internet. Board games such as Monopoly, Trivia, Carcassone, Scrabble, Settlers of Catan, etc. are available.
On the large grounds around the house, you can enjoy the sun, but also nice shady spots. This is thanks to several fruit and nut trees. Garden furniture and barbecue are available. There's much to experience in the nice area of Cazals. You'll also find a supermarket, bakery, restaurant, tennis court, bank and post office there.
Cazals is a town with that typical French charm. There is a local market with fresh produce, straight from the country. There's a recreational lake with a beach, playground and pedalos for rent. You can also visit Les Arques (6km) with its Zadkine museum and the posh restaurant La Récréation.
In Puy-l'Evêque (24km) you can rent a canoe for a trip on the Lot river. The Dordogne is 27km away. Here are the castles of Milandes (Josephine Baker's) and its rivals Castelnau and Beynac waiting for you, as well as picturesque villages like Domme (26km) and La Roque-Gageac (29km). You can rent bikes in Villefranche-du-Périgord (15km). You can play golf at Belvès (28 km) and Vitrac (29 km).

We had a fantastic holiday. The location of the house is perfect. It is secluded yet close to the pretty villages to do excursions. The pool was great! Highly recommended

Positive: old charming house, good kitchen equipment, beautiful large garden, swimming pool well maintained. Many seats around the house. Good WiFi., walking, running and cycling opportunities. Location is top. Negative: there are many sunbeds for the pool (very cold) but these are (almost) all due for replacement and are not comfortable. With 8 adults a challenge to find a bed. A number of people lay down on the grass. The separate toilet does not flush properly and regularly needs a helping hand with a bucket of water. The shower curtain in the bathroom is a surprise. Light switches and door handles are very loose. Conclusion: a nice holiday in a charming house with flaws and a fantastic environment, but the price / quality ratio is not in order. There is room for improvement.

Lovely, large garden with swimming pool, tennis court, table tennis table and many more games. Fantastic, quiet, rural setting, real French campaign, with beautiful villages. Enjoying it! Delightful and cozy spacious and complete family house. Comfortably furnished. Good and spacious and long beds. Tennis court is of good quality and is beautiful. Swimming pool is also fine and spacious. During hot days we had a lot of aggressive wasps, we were attacked by hordes. This was the only downside. Additionally fantastic and highly recommended!

Fantastic house on a hill. Peace and space are plentiful. Unfortunately it was too cold to make much use of the pool, but the tennis court and table tennis places were well used. The house offers all the comfort you could wish for. Good beds, kitchen with all mod cons. The fireplace makes the French experience compleet.De area is also beautiful, with woods and small roads.

The description is as indicated 'top'. The big chestnut tree is great, it always provides the possibility to go out of the sun but still enjoy the fun in and around the swimming pool! We have booked with Topic Travel before and will definitely continue to do so.

Was after a busy period looking for peace, and that you'll certainly find it here. The two neighboring houses were not rented, only owls and crickets as pets and fantastic views. Topic Travel for an acquisition, there are very few to find these types of houses. Of dressed in fine all present and decent. Expect only nothing of the Internet, you can only join what some juices.

For our Dutch rare tranquility you will find here. delicious; lots of space and tranquility. House has its own character. Sanitary fine. The owner, manager here is very helpful, so even in the colder months, this is a fantastic place to rest.
