Classic Perigord farmhouse in a secluded location in the forest overlooking horse pasture, 2 apartments, the smaller one pictured. Luckily the second apartment was not rented during my stay, otherwise it would have grown tight in the garden. Apartment rustic but completely furnished, nothing is missing. Garden shady, unfortunately no intact beach chairs available. Additional costs such as firewood, gas, electricity are charged extra. Recommended for those looking for peace in nature.

Beautiful big garden, with some deer sometimes! House unfortunately with 70's décor, what a surprise. Thorough make over no luxury ... But because you are mostly enjoying holidays and can not recommend it.

A great place for families! The garden was a hit with the kids, and we appreciated the well-equipped kitchen for cooking our meals. Just a small note: the stairs are quite steep, so be careful.

The house is beautifully located, with easy access to nature hikes. We used the terrace every morning for breakfast and enjoyed the fresh air. A simple but delightful experience.

Wonderfully situated house on the edge of the forest. Good facilities and a great garden. Many sights can be reached by car from the house. Shopping possibilities are also accessible by car. If you like absolute peace, here is very well cared for.

When we were escorted by the owners to the house we thought "where they bring us?". The road through the forest on the way to the house was strange, but once we saw the house we were immediately reassured. It looks like a gingerbread house, but nevertheless with all basic comforts What we have particularly appreciated the silence and that brought us into peace. Furthermore, it is an excellent location to make several trips incl. Nature walks!

If you are looking for a family-friendly place, you are in the right place! The crib and the toddler bed were perfect for our little one. Also, the fridge with freezer and the microwave made meal preparation a breeze.

We had a wonderful stay in this really nice house. However, there are a few points we would like to give the owners and/or Belvilla.
- the house was very remote and could be reached on the last part via an unpaved path. No problem for us, but I think it is important to know before you book this place.
- the house is surrounded by trees/forest, which results in a lot of insects. If you are allergic to them, you can have fun. And there are no mosquito nets to place in the windows, so you cannot open the windows in the evening and at night, which results in VERY warm bedrooms in which you cannot sleep. We slept (very uncomfortably) downstairs on the couch.
- communication was difficult because the elderly lady who received us only spoke rapid French! And of course it is not mandatory, but it is our experience that the hosts/hostesses of Belvilla always provide a welcome item in the house, such as a bottle of wine, some fruit or a regional product to welcome the guests. That was not the case here; there was only half a roll of toilet paper and that was it, there was nothing! Not even a bottle of water - which would have been very welcome given the heat at the time - no dishwasher product, no matches, nothing at all! We were only instructed to water the plants every day....
- last but certainly not least: the electricity supplies! The plugs on the cords are very old, antique even and the sockets too. They are of the kind that were used in the sixties. There were also cords connected to each other by those old connector plugs, really dangerous. In case of fire we would not have known what to do.

The very pretty house on the outside is located in the middle of the forest in an idyllic setting. The interior of the house is in its original condition. The furnishings are simple and there is a musty smell. But the worst is upstairs. The queen-size bed is completely shattered, and a plywood board tries to limit the effect of the broken springs. The other two small beds are also in a bad condition. The electricity is faulty, the installation is not recent and not very safe. As a barbecue, a mini electric barbecue and a gas barbecue recycled into a charcoal barbecue. In short, the layout is really limited!

Phew, we thought during the drive to the house after the owner on bumpy, where we end up now. But what a top location, what a peace and quiet. For our dogs was a paradise. Vegetables we could pick and the friendly owner also brought us yet alles.De setting is beautiful, you can all do.The house was nice clean. Great location for people with dog (s) or small children. The town is small but gezellig.We had a top holiday.

The very friendly owner drove us from the village to the house. Beautiful location, Last piece of dirt road through the woods, house is on open ground in forest, with a side view over a valley. Lots of privacy and plenty of peace and space. Not much in house, bedroom, sanitary and kitchen were all right. Nice area too, lots of cycling there.

Lovely quiet place, in the middle of the forest. Not far from the oldest bastide of the Perigord Noir.: Villefranche du Perigord. Lots of game (if you didn't bring a dog).

Cottage is beautiful but is very secluded. Lies on top of a mountain in a roundabout in the woods. You have all freedom!
